August is feeling a bit wild 🫣 I’ve finished working at my full time job since I’m entering law school in September. However, my money feels are all over the place since this is my first time going into debt for school (I was super fortunate to not have students loans for my undergrad).
hey zoe! it seems like you typically spend higher in the summer months with a lower income. have you thought about a sinking fund for your summer activities ?
Oh my did I feel you when you said “you’ve been staying home to avoid spending money”! This is freakn ME right now. Especially when I know if I go out, I’m going to OVER spend. The struggle is going out and sticking to the budget for me. I literally been going to work and going straight home.
For me, summer is more spontaneous and more spendy because we are taking advantage of the nice weather, but our household income doesn't fluctuate. For you, I'd say enjoy the rest of summer and slower work period, because as your workload picks up again you'll have less time to socialize so you will save more then.
I’ve never heard of a sourdough kit. You probably have everything you need to make sourdough already. Also I’d recommend starting your homemade bread journey with regular bread before jumping into sourdough.❤ I’m excited to see the bread making vlogs😍
I work from home as well and can totally relate to not speaking to anyone during the day. It’s nice to get out of the house in the morning to grab a coffee.
Wow you’re posting so much, I just caught up after my vacation and now there’s yet another one to watch during laundry 😍 I went to Kos, you should totally go to Greece in the future! Although I’m sure there’s plenty of great places more closeby lol. Dealing with post holiday blues big time 🥲
Last Christmas I could not believe the price of wrapping paper and Christmas cards so this year I brought some on clearance in the end of July. We make good money but the older I get the more conscious I am about spending. Make your money go further by spending wisely and on stuff that matters to you!
such a good idea!! i should see if i can find some deals now on wrapping paper 😂 one year I did newspaper and ribbon, but the ink make everything so dirty 🙃
Hi Zoe! Long time subscriber, first time commenter :) I run a sourdough home bakery and have some thoughts on buying a kit. First, it is totally possible to start baking sourdough without buying anything! If you want to save that money until you know for sure that you’ll keep up the hobby, all you need is a sourdough starter (can be bought from a local bakery or made from scratch) and a Dutch oven. You can use a bowl or colander instead of a banneton and any knife to score the dough. I know accessories are part of the fun, though, so pretty much any Amazon kit with good reviews that includes a banneton will work. Good luck! 💕
I make sourdough all the time and tbh you don't need any special supplies aside from a dutch oven! I made my own starter and just use a leftover glass jar from a sauce, and I proof the dough in a large mixing bowl that I already had. I also cover it with aluminium foil rather than those 'special' cloths. And I use a small serrated knife for scoring. You can definitely step up and get specialized materials but making bread is very doable with items you likely already have on hand :)
Staying home to not spend money is my life. I have a large mortgage payment plus a crew of 4 legged fur kids so there’s really no place I’d rather be. I really enjoy your videos and you really have it together. I wish I’d been so wise at your age.
Hey Zoe! Enjoying my Saturday morning staying home, watching your video and budgeting for the rest of the month.. I’m definitely on the same page as you for August - stepping out of the house is dangerous haha. Echoing what everyone said, loooove your top and also the blue nails. 💅 You should check out Marshall’s for nail polish, last time I scored some stunning Bkind colours half price. Much love from Pointe-Claire 😉
Did a review of our family trip to Edinburgh and London for the 7 of us who got to go … Mr Bill wanted to know how much we spent … yeah it was a lot BUT it came in UNDER my estimate ! Soooooo good to have paid for at least 75% ahead of time ! Food and Uber costs were crazy ! Glenda
That would give me anxiety paying $ 400 a year Any wonder that people that have good jobs and there rent goes up higher and there in so much debt that they end up being homeless
Three minutes into the video and I can’t focus because I’m looking at your top 😭 Top details please? 🧎🏻♀️➡️🧎🏻♀️➡️🧎🏻♀️➡️ Edit: Getting starbucks when it’s being boycotted? 😢💔

Good! Waiting to receive an official job offer that hopefully pays me a good enough income to support my financial goals 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Off topic lol but I love your necklace from Mejuri but I can’t find it on the site! Do you know if it’s discontinued or do you have a link possibly?
hi!! the pearl one? They no longer have the rectangular pearl charm 😭 if that is what you're looking for, try searching for "baroque pearl" on etsy xo
How long can I expect to wait for a digital download to show up??
just a few minutes and it comes to your email! any issues you can contact them they are super helpful ✨
I love sourdough but it is soooo time consuming lol
Cancel the whoop? Maybe just buy a different watch with no yearly fee.
Can you link to the chlorophyll you use?
