For a medical student, these are extremely useful videos......a scalpel to the surgeon.... But for any other stream student as well, these are perfectly crafted artwork that can make the study of human life and body understandable without any prerequisite special knowledge... I being a MBBS student right now have found these extremely useful..And I wish I had a chance to study the whole of anatomy syllabus through such videos from UBC Medicine... I request you,the creators,to create more of such content covering other aspects of anatomy as well. That may take a long time and I may not be able to see them by time, but a lot of our upcoming medical students can use them to become even better than us... Thanks for reading if you have. Thanks for making such an awesome content.. Thanks for making medical education easier...
Please make more videos like these on other topics of anatomy, why did you stop making this type of videos, please continue, you are doing an amazing job,
these videos are just amazing the editing the dinamic way of teaching and how well its done, you can just feel the passion in what they do, i love it, please keep doing things like this
Darn good series. Thanks for the free educational series, appreciated deeply. If I got the chance to be a professor, this is the series that I will recommend my students to follow.
A good introduction, but would appreciate more in depth details on the nerves of the arm, forearm and the hand. After all, this is NEUROanatomy...i feel the direction of making those videos is geared towards now being more FUN rather than being academic and for medical students/doctors
please visit neuroanatomy.ca - for full compliment of supporting modules. Also, the Brachial plexus video from Season 2 addresses some of the subject matter you've mentioned.
Also, clinicalanatomy.ca has interactive modules on the subject that delve into some deeper, more specific learning content. neuroanatomy.ca and clinicalanatomy.ca are sister websites, both managed by our team

Radius can't rotate to the Humerus bone since they're a synovial hinge joint. While Radio-Ulnar joint can do supination and pronation because they are a synovial pivot joint. 😊
Try fixing your arm rotation. Then try pronating your arm. Notice that your radius rotates around the ulna, but the ulna does not rotate around the radius. Tried rotating my ulna round my radius it was painful.
Season 3 of Neuroanatomy is now streaming!

These are the best. Arms and hands so very magical. Thanks so much!
This is more musculoskeletal anatomy as opposed to neuroanatomy of the UE, but I love it anyways. Liked and subscribed 👍🏻.
Thank you so much. Your videos are really helpful 👍

Q : how do you stop yourself from not playing and goofing around with them😍🐤?
From 4:50- 4:55 (Pronation means when radius rotates on humerus) ... I think there should be rotates on ulna... Correct me if i wrong...
Radius can't rotate to the Humerus bone since they're a synovial hinge joint. While Radio-Ulnar joint can do supination and pronation because they are a synovial pivot joint. 😊
The model in the video is not accurate tho. Try looking for other sources. 😅😅
You made a mistake. It's correct!
Try fixing your arm rotation. Then try pronating your arm. Notice that your radius rotates around the ulna, but the ulna does not rotate around the radius.
Tried rotating my ulna round my radius it was painful.
00:50 you should have washed the apple
UBC farm, where we filmed, is a certified organic farm. We ate many unwashed apples...
UBC Medicine - Educational Media wow
@@ubcmedvid Organic or not, I wouldn't condone eating unwashed fresh produce. Pathogenic microbes can be on any produce.
