Master Yong, Thank you very much for your videos on watercolors. I really like the fact that you use alot of contrast in your paintings. and your not afraid to use lots of color! To me, that really makes a painting stand out! and catches your eye! Love your style and teckniques! I like to paint like that too. The more you share your knowledge, the greater you become!

Chen, I truly enjoy your videos and the Soft voice is an interesting addition. Your voice is already pleasing and I hope you don't over-do it and make it difficult to hear your comments. So far so good! I watch your videos often because they are so informative and pleasing. I have a game I play when watching your videos. When you are early in a watercolor painting or drawing, capturing main shapes, i like to bet whether you are right or wrong, whether it will work or not. I think this is because I find it intimidating to do an underpainting with watercolor. I would say you win 99 percent of the time. What an accurate eye!!

I think so too. Pastel is a close second. Pastel painting looks almost like magic when you watch someone else pastel paint.
That is like comparing apple pie or peach pie, steak or fish. Not better, different.

I am a long way from being being any form of expert but I felt you rushed the top portion of the painting by losing the vertical reflection lines of the out of view shore line. It took me a few good tries until I captured this effect perfectly. Those were not horizontal reflections but vertical. I so wished you had captured this effect, personally I felt that this is what made your reference image "pop". IMHO You first went through all the trouble to mask everything and then rushed through the upper half water shore-line reflection... missing a golden opportunity to capture this same "pop".
