Oh I love this song! I couldn't understand it either at first but I didn't care. I always felt something special listening to it... it gave me so much strength back in the days. I always saw this lil guy as someone who has been bullied or something and he finally had enough. He blew up when bullies kicked him maybe, and now he's the guilty one because nobody cares about that he was going through hell. He's alone with all that. Police/army chasing him is a bit wired but for me it's like autor trying to show us that we're stronger than we think and we can easily win battles that seems impossible to win, no matter if your demon is some other kid in school or armed soldier... we are unbreakable, we're Titanium! Hi Larry! I was a bit confuced about the fact that you said that you couldn't catch the lyrics. I mean I am not an native English speaking, in fact as far as it could be, but I understood every word of this song the first time I heard this song in my cell phones radio back in 2011...
It was just a bit harder for me to pick up the lyrics for some reason. Now that I know the words by looking them up, I can totally hear them clear as day lol

When watching Sia music videos, don't pay too much attention to the visuals, the videos are usually quite abstract in concept and don't really aid in understanding the song itself, rather once you understand the song it helps put the video into a context to make sense, using the video to try to interpret the song's meaning won't work well for most Sia songs.

in my opinion i think the song is like remember when the school was messed up what i think is that the kid was being bullied and he took out all his anger out but then his power came out and that's why the teacher was scared of him and that he is running from the army and the cops because they see him as a threat because of his power and thinking of all of that. Makes the song more interesting so i think thats what the video is about and when she says you shoot me down but i wont fall i think for the boy it means that the cops will try to get him but with the power he will always get away like the end he got away because he used his power like when she says "you shoot me down but i won't fall i am titanium" in the song about the boy that means "the cops will always try to get me but i will always get away because of my power" so watch the song while thinking of this coment and see if you agree about that being the consept of the song and that you shoot me down but i won't fall i am titanium is about the boy with these lyricas "the4 cops will always try to get me but i will always get away because of my power tell me if you agree with me on that and please read this coment in your head while watching the Official Video of Titanium

Consider pulling up the lyrics independently before reactions so you don't have to depend on flawed captions. Most singers and songs are better enjoyed with lyrics available. You honestly do yourself a disservice otherwise.
