Sia wrote Breathe Me when she was very depressed and suicidal, this song means a lot to her. she is so old in industry, even Amy Winehouse was inspired by her. i love her very old performance of Little Man form 2000, such a different sia back then. And also her work with Zero 7

YES. The KCRW session absolutely blows me away. She's just... sitting there...and this POWER comes out of her. Its unreal.
i listen to this KCRW session once a month at LEAST.
god, her voice, insane control, riffs and vibrato blow me away. she has SUCH a unique voice, and i’ve never seen anyone be able to recreate it.
she was my absolute favorite vocalist and artist EVER at age 15, i was OBSESSED, and wanted to foster a vocal ability and range like hers… and now at age 24, i still feel the same.
she is unreal. the KCRW session, i believe, is one of the most underrated and astounding examples of her true talent and vocal ability.
Great reaction. She even wrote Breathe Me the night she tried to take her own life - which makes the song even sadder. If you already love this performance, you'll love the performance at KCRW 2007 even more, at the end she belts out her feelings. ♥

Sia’s discography is a rabbit hole you should definitely go down. This was really kinda her breakout song here in US when it was featured on the show 6 feet under.
Sia was at her very best when she was an indie artist. The entire album "Some People Have Real Problems" is amazing. This song destroys me every single time I hear it. She's an amazing vocalist and an amazing song writer. Also, her performance at Camp Krim is absolutely beautiful, particularly "Soon We'll Be Found".
She is just magical. I prefer her indie stuff but she does smash put those high vocals too. Queen!!
"Have you heard Sia sing so quietly before?" - listen to her whole album Colour The Small One. :) Breathe Me is from that album. It's a masterpiece and the lyrics are pure poetry

Amazing reaction and lesson. Old Sia is probably my favorite version of her . From Zero 7 to her older solo work . One of my favorite live songs by her is “ Distractions” . That song rips at the heart ! . Amazing reaction !!

I hope everyone gets a chance to listen to this song when she played it at KCRW in 2007. Its not hard to find. She comes up with incredible things near the end.

Please try listening to her Death By Chocolate performance ("Sia - Death By Chocolate (Live)" posted on Jun 1 2017). This is one of my favs of hers. Particularly when her breath is taken away (literally) when the audience joins in with perfect pitch.
