Oh my goodness! You are the videos I’ve been looking for!!!!! I don’t want to get back to cross stitching with the silly ones from the store!! I want to do an epic piece!!!!!!! Can’t wait to watch all these videos ❤
These videos are it :) I do DP, i want to explore stitching, and I went for a mini HEAD. Because "yes you can" thank you, you made it fun.. not scary :)
I have been teaching people to cook and sew for over 40 years, I have to say you are a natural at teaching. You are engaging, you explain everything very well giving reasons why you should do such and such, a very important thing to do. This really is marvellous, I love your style. I am sure you will have set many stitchers onto a happy path in full coverage cross stitch. Excellent.
I was laughing so much well I’ll tell you I ordered those kits mill hill on perforated paper silly me. You are so right better to order the right way. HAED design are so beautiful. But I did order the Autum plus the threads waiting for delivery. Wish me luck. I do want to order a HAED but it’s over my budget. I don’t have any threads so. I do have to save up. I am retired and looking for a new hobby. Thank you so much for your videos they always make me smile. You are awesome.
Omg. A friend just told me about your channel. I just watched this video. I love your accent. I did cross stitch over 30 years ago. I am looking forward to watching this series and other videos on your channel.
I've done cross stitch off and on since I was in my teens (I'm now 51, eek!), and I recently found HAED designs and decided I want to attempt a full coverage piece. After I bought the pattern (10x14, 89 colors), I started looking on Instagram into how some stitchers do it, descriptions of parking, gridding the fabric, etc. and I panicked. I just stumbled across your channel and this mini-series, and I feel better already! thank you so much for making it sound so easy. Because you're right, I can count to ten (usually, at least - lol). I can't wait to watch the rest of the series.
I'm new to flosstube, but not to RUclips and have been cross stitching my whole life. I've always avoided full coverage projects because they look too overwhelming to me. I love that you have a series on how to be successful with them. I had never heard of "parking" until a few days ago and am excited to see the rest of this series. Thank you for sharing this with us!!!!!
You have taught me so much and I just started my first haed. Jasmine Beckett Griffith Paisley. I am obsessed with your wonderful floss tubes, which I learned what that was from you as well. I just wanted to thank you for your mini series.
I have just found this series & plan to watch them. I am going on Vacation & when I return I plan to start a full coverage chart. I will watch your full series of videos before I start. Looking forward to it! Thank you so much!!
Just when I thought I knew everything.. 😅 .. Thank you for showing us how to navigate the HAED site- I’ve been trying for 4 days and have been lost in the designs rather than actually choosing a project. This is the most comprehensive video series I’ve ever seen on Flosstube for this site and you’re right about the minutia.. 😂 Cheers ! 💖
Thanks, I just started doing the reasurge, and watched a view Flostube by now. I like you way of being streight, no mess no fuss, honesty. I enjoy your way of teaching.
Hello Teresa,I have been cross stitching for about 7 years. I did a Dimensions Christmas stocking for my first stitching project and really struggled. I then moved to smaller sampler style patterns. My daughter has become a stitcher and she does full coverage pieces and has inspired me to give full coverage another try. I am currently working on another Dimensions kit and I just found your series for beginners. Thank you!!! I have learned so much from watching the series and feel confident moving forward. I ordered a HEAD, subscribed to your channel and made some great progress on my current Dimensions kit. Thank you for your time and effort to put useful content out, Holly
I have been a fan since the beginning but you have far surpassed me. I learned parking from the beginning too! Someday......I want to do a FULL sized HAED fully kitted up by them but.....not till I retire when I’ll have more time to stitch!
I came across your floss tube video quite by chance and I love it , you are hilarious and the struggles you have had are so identifiable to every cross stitcher. I live in a household full of men/ boys so you are my company when I am sat stitching. We left the UK 3 years ago to live on the west coast of Canada and it is so great to hear a voice from home.
I’m rewatching the first three installments of your beginners series, and I’m so grateful you decided to make these. I don’t think there’s anything like this out there. I’ve been so interested in this type of craft, but it seemed so daunting. Thanks again. Really thorough and very well done.
Oh I'm so excited I found you. I have been sort of teaching myself and done a few kits. And bought charts. But you have helped so much. Thankyou. Xxx I've got some binge watching to do!! 😆
OMG! You are hilarious! I am here because I think full coverage is totally intimidating, I found a chart I love and want to try (it has a piano in it), but a gazillion colors is SO scary!! I've been stitching off and on for over 50 years!! (Of course now I can't see a thing though as I begin again.) And here I am, 5 minutes into your video and you're telling me it's easier than anything I've ever done before! I love you (because I really want to do this piano, but part of me thinks you're nuts! I can't wait to see what you tell me next!! Even though my piano isn't a small chart, I like it and I know how to stitch, so I think I'll keep it.... well, eventually order it.... off to choosing my fabric (which I generally speaking already know how to do, but I'm very much interested in your wisdom on this as well).
This video series is so good. I was about the quit, I was fed up with it all and actually threw all my projects in the trash. (my husband pulled them out to save them knowing I was having a bad moment). I watched the entire series but am commenting here on part 1 in case anyone is curious about the rest of the series. You are able to explain everything and make it seem so simple, like it should be. I feel like I am sitting across from you at your breakfast bar having a conversation. Very good!
Your hubby is a star! Good man for retrieving your stitching from the bin. We all have bad days, I remember really kicking my Roses of Provence all over the room not so long ago lol!. I am so pleased that the series helped you along the way :) Happy Stitching!
I'm just starting again after a many year break. And honestly I don't remember it being this hard before. I've forgotten what half the tools in my kit do. I chose to start something simple just to get my rhythm back ... and was still overwhelmed by how messy my back was getting ... until I pulled out my half finished full coverage complex piece from when I was stitching years ago and realised that the back of it was super messy too ... and here I am trying to get wisdom 😊
Oh you wonderful woman! I have a little bit of cross stitch experience and have been wanting to tackle a HAED but it all seems so confusing (especially about fabrics). This series is exactly what I'm looking for. Thank you so much! 💐
You are so refreshing!! So much like me! “start small, like a book mark on 11 ct aida” Fu£& that! I want to do that pretty massive very detailed picture, coz the rest look pooooop. 🥴 I think you’re wonderful!! I’ve subscribed :) x
Hi, Teresa! Still loving your videos. In this one love your overflowing enthusiasm. People with this quality are the best teachers in the world. You are one of them, and really good looking too 😊. Just a bit more than a week ago I ordered my first HEAD chart, inspired by you. So I am stitching like there is no tomorrow 😁. Loving it! It is Soaring Free 2 mini. Gorgeous!!! It is the best idea ever to make these tutorial kind of videos for beginners, as I was skimming through all of your videos (and I loved it) to find your ways, your methods, your organisation etc. Now it is going to be right there, so easy to find for refference or for curiosity. Now I cannot wait for your next little video. Bring it on Teresa! 💖💖💖
Thank you for your lovely message Sigvita! Wow look at you on your first HAED congrats! I thought I would try and pull it all together and see what it all turns out like on videos - so fingers crossed it will be helpful for the true beginner as well as those that already stitch, but are doing a full coverage for the first time.
Thank you for this. I'm an avid cross-stitcher and want to try full coverage. I am just waiting for my things to arrive and I'm in! I did get a smaller (5x7) full coverage piece. I can't wait to dive in.
What a wonderful and thoughtful thing for you to do Teresa! You have a very pleasant delivery striking a nice balance between sincerity about the craft and your charming humor! I’ve been watching you since you began and thoroughly enjoy each video. I don’t do cross stitch ...... yet anyway ,,,, but have been an avid needlepointer for many years! I may attempt a cross stitch project once your mini series has ended primarily because you make it sound so enjoyable and your FFO’s are brilliantly done. Like so many others I am in full anticipation of your next one! Thank you for entertaining us so wonderfully! Kind greetings from across the pond. Rick
Hey Rick! Thank you for your lovely message! If you are an avid needlepointer then cross stitch can't be that far away can it?? lol! Sorry I really shouldn't enable you further, but you left that door wide open lol! You will have to let me know if you do give it a try :) Really appreciate your support!
When I first started cross stitching i would just do tiny designs on paper with no pattern bc i loved the threads. When I first looked at a kit at like 12 i was like NOPE absolutely not, and I didn’t touch a kit until way later. Now I’ve been doing kits for years and am about to start my first full coverage piece. I’m excited but I’ve very ambitiously chosen a gargantuan tapestry. Here to absorb your info lol!!
Thank you sweetie! Yes was the same when I first started so I thought I would get this series up as I remember all to well how many different videos i need to watch to even get started lol.
Hi Teresa, you forgot about the oldies who still like to watch tutorials on how to cross stitch !! At least I do as I always find new tips that I didn't know, so thank you for the video it was great !
I'm loving this. Waiting to start a full coverage piece. I found one that pulls at my heart strings!! "We're Alright" by Cross Stitch Studio. It's a momma bear coming out of the TN woods after the fire with her cub!! I know the way it touches my heart that I will finish it.
Thank you so much! I thought I had a reading comprehension problem trying to follow the directions with one of those “starter kits”! Your 1st cross stitch is beautiful! Ok, show me how....
Omg that is absolutely beautiful and I like the way you're straight to the point type of woman. I am definitely going to be bingeing on your videos, how on earth don't you have more subscribers is mind blowing but I found you in my recommendation listing from RUclips. I hope that you will get more subscribers and grow your channel. 😀👍
Teresa! These are so helpful. Thank you. Have done cross-stitch before but never a full coverage design. I have purchased a pattern and ordered alllll of the threads and the fabric, but there’s that bit of fear about getting started.
I'm so excited to watch this series. I've purchased several full coverage pieces but haven't started stitching one yet. I've already learned so much from you (good notes- love it) and I'm looking forward to learning more. Thanks for sharing your talent with all of us!
Thank you for your lovely message Cindy. Well no time like the present to dust off one of these full coverage pieces and give it a go :) You will have to let me know when you start one and let me know how you get on.
This is awesome thank you for doing this! This year I got back to this wonderfull hobby and I have never stitched a full cover piece but I have bought a few from Tilton crafts and a small haed.
Thank you for this series!! I am beginning my first HAED on 1 January, and am clueless on where to begin. This is a helpful/calming series. I am excited to keep learning, this is boosting my confidence for the upcoming start! ✨ stay beautiful, my friend. Clare @beautifulclareity
Your channel just came across my recommendations. I enjoyed your video. I love your style. I am that dimensions kit stitching girl! LOL I am looking forward to learning the full coverage way. You are a great teacher.
lol! Now don't spend too much!!! I know how hard it is to just pick one - remember there is always a wish list if you create an account so you can go back another time lol!
I needed this videos series so much!!!! Have a few little small finishes. Want to do full coverage. Didn’t think it would be possible. Wish I had found you a few weeks ago.
I belong to the second group you mention and just started my first full coverage HAED embroidery. You have given me soooo many good tips and insights I can’t thank you enough! I’m well on my way with Neptune’s Horses and look forward to seeing your floss tubes. Warm thoughts and thanks from the southern tip of Norway!
Thank you for doing this for new stitchers. I was always afraid of full coverage, now that's all I want to do and I have 4 full coverage WIPS. ALOT of my confidence came from watching your "Stitch with Me" videos. I found that they are actually easier and fun. Exciting to start to see pieces of the whole pattern come into view. Keep up the good work. You are awesome!!!
Hey Denise! Thank you for your lovely message and congrats on getting on the full coverage roundabout - see you go from 1 - 4 lol! I am so pleased my videos gave you the confidence you needed :)
Mahalo Teresa, I have been stitching started back in the eighties. Full coverage is new to me, a little group that I invited to by Jan Hicks here in Hawaii got me interested. I ready to watch part two. Aloha from Hawaii!!!!
Great video Theresa! My only concern is that 89 colours on what is essentially a bookmark may be daunting for a beginner- especially if they have no experience with confetti stitching. I trust you will address this in a later video🙂
I started with one of those 4x4 inch beginner cross stitching kits for kids lol (not full coverage--just the cat figure in the middle). It was a cat holding a heart. It came out pretty good, and I had so much fun I got myself 3 complex full coverage ones LOL
Great video Teresa. I'm one of the No.2 people, I've just got under way with my first HAED, loving it but winging it a bit as far as parking etc.! I think your series is going to be really encouraging for beginners. I do wonder if they might be put off by the quantity of colours? Speaking from experience though, go with it, it's going to be worth it in the end (I hope!). It's a great experience just seeing and using all the different colours anyway. Thanks for doing these videos.
Hi ....woo fab I started one a long time ago .....it was a 1 over 1 .....messed up twice ....the bin seen both .....thank you for this may be I will try over lol ......hugs x
Lovely video, Teresa. l adore HAED and have several patterns, but have never purchased a storykeep because I thought the choices were a bit more limited, but I have found Artecy to be a very good company to use and a very manageable size that looks really good and detailed when done, I have several of these patterns too. I will have to look into Tilton Crafts and see what they have as well. I'm gonna be stitching well after I am dead!! :) Can't wait to see the rest of the series. Thanks for sharing!
I bought my first HAED which is my second cross stitch project ever :D I was hesitant if this is a smart idea but oh well, go big or go home. I had really trouble finding a picture I really, really liked and the only one was a HAED, so we'll see how that goes. I have all the time in the world to finish it, haven't I? 😊 However, I was looking on information how to start a full coverage because the one project I have been doing for now is not and you could start in the middle there which was quite simple. This was such a good video! Thank you for it, will probably watch the others as well :)
Thanks Teresa, love this video and looking forward to the next one. I have a full coverage pattern all kitted up but have yet to start it. Your videos will be great to start my project. I'm interested to see how parking is done. Have a great day!
So funny. I’ve been cross stitching for years. Create my own designs and buy PDFs. Have old old old patterns. Been stitching since 14. I’m 60. Prefer 28 evenweave. ❤️ from NYC
8:31 TOO LATE I already bought the Supersized Max Color version 🥴🤣 I’ve stitched for a long time though, this isn’t my first, just my first full coverage and HAED. But you’re totally right it’s very doable for a beginner, because I never finished my first kit either as a kid but bought a Mirabilia Queen as my second ever project 😅 so, beginners, you’ll be fine and you’ll love it I promise!
Great video! Thanks! Looking forward to more! I have ordered Peppermint Snowman by HAED! I am kind of a beginner of this type of cross stitch. So I am hoping that this will not be overwhelming! What is your opinion? Pattern ok for a “beginner”? (I love snowmen!!) ❤️
Thank you so much for your mini series 😊 my friend has just gifted me a HAED story keep chart and it will be my very first full coverage....I now have all my threads for it which includes kreinik thread..will you be showing the best way to stitch with this thread too?...looking forward to the next one😊💕x
I just started a full coverage large chart format of Lesley's Cats as Halloween. This is the first time trying this and I definitely need some helpful tips. Thank you for doing this!
My first piece is 90,000 stitches. It's been... a journey. Good job!
That is awesome! Hope you are having a wonderful time with your stitching.
Oh my goodness! You are the videos I’ve been looking for!!!!! I don’t want to get back to cross stitching with the silly ones from the store!! I want to do an epic piece!!!!!!! Can’t wait to watch all these videos ❤
These videos are it :)
I do DP, i want to explore stitching, and I went for a mini HEAD. Because "yes you can" thank you, you made it fun.. not scary :)
I have been teaching people to cook and sew for over 40 years, I have to say you are a natural at teaching. Thank you so much
I was laughing so much well I’ll tell you I ordered those kits mill hill on perforated paper silly me. You are so right better to order the right way. HAED design are so beautiful. Just started cross stitching and starting a full coverage .. everyone said it’s impossible.. so glad I found this video!
That's your first work???? Amazing.

Oh, you had me laughing with the kit example!!! You are so right... what a mess!!! Great video!!!
Wow that's beautiful and I myself want to start cross stitch but I was intimidated, but you are a breath of fresh air
You have taught me so much and I just started my first haed. Jasmine Beckett Griffith Paisley. I am obsessed with your wonderful floss tubes, which I learned what that was from you as well. I just wanted to thank you for your mini series.
Thank you for posting this. I didn't know that "Full Coverage" was what it was called. Thanks for the info.
This is one of the best tutorials. I am not a beginner, but I did pick up many tips, and it made my life easier.
I have just found this series & plan to watch them. I am going on Vacation & when I return I plan to start a full coverage chart. I will watch your full series of videos before I start. Looking forward to it! Thank you so much!!

I’m rewatching the first three installments of your beginners series, and I’m so grateful you decided to make these. I don’t think there’s anything like this out there. I’ve been so interested in this type of craft, but it seemed so daunting. Thanks again. Really thorough and very well done.

You are a wonderful teacher. I love the specifics. I am a stitcher and have learned a lot that I never have paid attention to. Thank you.

OMG!! You are fabulous. I just found you watching xstitch with chris and I'm thrilled to have you in my stitching watch list.
Thankyou for doing these videos ,l can crossstitch but ! I am all for learning.
This is a great idea. I can’t wait for the next installment. Thanks
Thanks Theresa. What a wonderful video. Looking forward to the information about parking
Thank you so much for doing this series on full coverage pieces!!

I’ve just found you!! I started cross stitching this week and I think you’re gonna be helping me a lot 😂 I love ya!
Great video. I am under no 3 just visiting as i love watching you 👍
Thank you for this. I'm an avid cross-stitcher and want to try full coverage. I am just waiting for my things to arrive and I'm in! I did get a smaller (5x7) full coverage piece. I can't wait to dive in.
found this vid great still learning cross stitch by the way
So I should start small, rather than a 47cm x 42cm? Wise advice. Thanks so much for saving my heart. I have not cross-stitched for decades!
You are going to be my saving grace
What a wonderful and thoughtful thing for you to do Teresa! You have a very pleasant delivery striking a nice balance between sincerity about the craft and your charming humor! This is brilliant, very clear and full of useful information. Thank you very much.
Tereasa your a really great stitcher, your work is beautiful.
Thank you. Just bought my first HAED story keep.
Hope you enjoy it!
Thank you so much! I thought I had a reading comprehension problem trying to follow the directions with one of those “starter kits”! Your 1st cross stitch is beautiful! Ok, show me how....

No the fear is getting all the stuff - the starting to stitch is just the exciting bit! You can do it :)

Your channel just came across my recommendations. I enjoyed your video. I love your style. I am that dimensions kit stitching girl! LOL I am looking forward to learning the full coverage way. You are a great teacher.
WONDERFUL idea!! Can't wait for next video. Going to check out HAED right now!!
Thank you. Can wait to watch the rest of the series.
Great Video as always, can't wait for Part 2. xx
Here for the ride 😉
I belong to the second group you mention and just started my first full coverage HAED embroidery. You have given me soooo many good tips and insights I can’t thank you enough! I’m well on my way with Neptune’s Horses and look forward to seeing your floss tubes. Warm thoughts and thanks from the southern tip of Norway!
You are so welcome! Happy HAED stitching!
Will be fun to watch your videos. Thank you!
That is awesome!
I'm so excited to find this! I am somewhat experienced but have a huge fear of starting a HAED, even though I really want to. Thank you!!
Thank you for the advice. I’m new to cross stitch & I want to try the all over. It makes more since to me than the Dimensions kit I’m working on now.
Great video! And omg I love your kitchen 😍
However, I was looking on information how to start a full coverage because the one project I have been doing for now is not and you could start in the middle there which was quite simple.
This was such a good video! Thank you for it, will probably watch the others as well :)
Thank you!!! I’m experienced, however I am taking out a piece with lots of color changes. I found you through Chris Xrossstitch.
❤️You are amazing!!! That’s a great idea 💡 can’t wait to stitch with you again!!!❤️
❤️ from NYC
Great video! Just what I needed!😍
Teresa, Thank you!!! This is going to be so helpful as I have wanted to do a full coverage piece but was intimidated.
Hey Sue! Don;t you worry - it is a total walk in the park so to speak. If I can do it anyone can do it :)
Great idea and great video.
♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️, subscribed. You explain so well. Thank you. 👍👍👍
I'm loving these videos!!! I'm self taught also and so happy to learn more!!!!
Thank you so much for your mini series 😊 my friend has just gifted me a HAED story keep chart and it will be my very first full coverage....I now have all my threads for it which includes kreinik thread..will you be showing the best way to stitch with this thread too?...looking forward to the next one😊💕x
I just love you style.
Cross Stitch is a new and old addiction. Luv your 🧵. Happy stitching
I just started a full coverage large chart format of Lesley's Cats as Halloween. This is the first time trying this and I definitely need some helpful tips. Thank you for doing this!
Love your info videos!
How intriguing! I will have to check out this full coverage thing! What is the piece that you have completed in this video? Is it from HAED?
