Everyone is commenting about how this song makes them happy, but am I the only one that feels like it sounds kind of sad? Longing for happiness instead of actually happy? Idk. Maybe I'm projecting that onto this song, but I feel like it's kinda sad. Love it nonetheless and it's hype as shit despite that.
Dunno what it is about chiptune and that sort of GBA bit sound font but it’s just so unique in nature and it never fails to make any song its used in sound so energetic and happy.
+The S.I.P I saw them at Rochester in a very small venue (they were only selling 200 tickets and it didn't even sell out) they played this here and it was great. After the show Peter Berkman was just outside the venue hanging out with some fans and taking pictures with them, I'm so happy I got to talk with him and get a picture with him, he was very nice and down to earth.
I always imagine this playing in a boss fight against an amorphous cat like creature flashing rainbow colors in a seizure inducing manner. The fight isn't even a fight it's just surviving its onslaught at it gets faster and faster as the song goes on until it finaly runs out of energy at the end.
