Brandon L lol. I’ve worked with fords before. So far none had any OHV’s of any sorts. Last engine of a Ford I worked on was a 99 Ford Expedition that had 249,375 Miles. We had to get new Cams, timing belts, tensioners, valves, valve keepers (I hate them damn things). New head gaskets. New timing cover. Rebuilt the Trans. (Took it completely apart. Made the gears shift a little harder and quicker with sheets of something from online. (I don’t remember what is was anymore). Then my father totaled it a year later. NOTE-I did not do this on my own. It was more of a learning process for me as I was only 12 at the time. I’m 14 now.
You're totally right, but there's a huge caveat. LSs are easier to work on once you get to the goddamn things. They're almost always buried so far under the cowl you pray you don't need access to anything around the back half of the engine.
