They cant be real bodyguards. Professionals wouldn't allow their clients to be starting trouble like that.
Security firms would label that client as a liability, a risk to both his own and the bodyguard's life.

I think the reason why this happens, as for any other physical activity or sport, is because our mind understands what's happening when we watch a match, soccer, basket, fights... so we think we can replicate it.
For instance, if we see Michio Kaku writing equations, we (people without the proper education) know that we can't replicate it because we don't understand what is happening there. But for sports or martial arts it's different: we can visualize ourselves doing it well. The reality though, is that there's tons of technique, training, and skills that we ignore.
Simply put: everybody think they can fight till they got punched in the face for the first time.

Along with that its engrained in the human mind as pure instinct to associate fighting capabilities with self worth, no man who feels like he couldnt beat anybody in a fight has any amount of self worth. So people tend to think they can fight when they truly cant because they dont want to think they have low self worth.

    • @aa-ze5cz
      @aa-ze5cz 11 месяцев назад +26

Well... you can blame Hollywood and video games for the whole ninja thing. The whole point of 'ninja' was you were a spy... you were meant to stay covert and use equipment to stay silent/in the shadows to accomplish a mission.
And then popular media turned ninjas into guys running around owning everyone with stars, instant death hand moves, and swords while screaming and running at 300% speed like Naruto.
Ninjitsu still does practice weapons, but everyone with any ounce of martial arts knowledge knows a 'ninja' is getting his ass handed to him in a fight. That being said, that's not what they're trained to do. The 'spies' that have probably done more to win a war for their Country were by Asian Countries called Ninja... you don't do well at that job running around like James Bond.

As a former boxer i can tell you this sort of thing is depressingly common. Guys have this mindset that combat sports are all about being "tough" and ballsy. They think just because they won a couple schoolyard tussles or beat up some drunk in a bar they can hang with a trained fighter. These jackasses have no understanding of the skill and conditioning it requires to compete even at a novice level.

I honestly almost hate the body gaurds for promoting this p#ssy behavior, but they are just doing their jobs, and a body guard doesnt have to like their client. For that matter I think we need to come together as men, real men, just ignore them not watch them and cut their money attention....until then real men will just sit back and say ok this is what not to do. Love from the Midwest.

Weaving around him with no effort at all. Only throwing real punches when the fake fighter got a little feisty, and even THOSE were low effort punches because the fake doesn't know how to defend himself.

Cardio and "Ring Cardio" is easily the toughest thing to gain when you train to fight.
Even guys that are athletic and already have good cardio have trouble at first, usually because they have difficulty relaxing and breathing in the ring when facing an opponent.
If you can't learn to relax your shoulders your arms become incredibly heavy very fast and without proper breathing as you punch and defend you don't get oxygen and you gas out fast.
It took me months to go from gassing out in a round or two to being able to go 6-8 rounds over a sparring session. And even now if I go 4 rounds in a row by round 4 I'm hurting.

I recommend you walk into a High School wrestling gym (especially if you have one of the better in the Country (or state/city/whatever)) as a High School man and go in cold and tryout or ask to spar (sometimes coaches will let you). My High School had one of the best state wrestling teams (they won state regularly) and some coaches in conditioning who saw us giving extra effort invited us in to see if it would be something we were interested in. A LOT of wrestling is conditioning (same with MMA/Boxing, etc.) - don't think you're going to be Fedor #2 with flab around the gut and just dominate.
Anyway, I obviously knew who I was squaring off with (Varsity, nice guy), and I THOUGHT I was doing okay. Then the coach said, "Hey , good job. Good effort. Do you want to try it full speed now?" I didn't quite know what that meant (he meant the wrestler not me) so I said, "Yah sure." Well I DEFINITELY knew what it meant about 10 seconds later....
Point to the story, you get humbled REAL quick (and innocently, you were asked in) at an early age instead of reaching keyboard warrior in your late 20s while being out of shape thinking you can take these guys on. Never did formally try out for wrestling (some coaches said I should just due to effort and my gains in conditioning class) but yah...in hindsight I would've said yes.

I did tae kwon do as an adult and thought I was pretty good at it. I had the opportunity to spar with an amateur boxer who was also my training officer. He didn't hurt me (because he didn't want to) but I was amazed at how quick he was. I had really good reflexes and could throw a pretty hard punch but he hit me so many times and I never landed a meaningful punch. It's good for the ego to learn those lessons young. It's actually one of my favorite memories because he was a such an awesome guy. I think it's especially valuable to learn that if you walk up to somebody on the street, you have no idea what he can do.
