First Dave Holland, and then Steve Swallow, although it may be impossible, I humbly request an interview with the legendary Eberhard Weber.

Electric Outlet was the name on the John Scofield recording that Steve Swallow produced.

Terrific questions. It's refreshing to hear interviews about the music instead of the resume. Thank you!

The first time I heard electric bass in a jazz context was Jack Bruce's contributions to the early Michael Gibbs albums which were not that different from his playing in Cream, exciting. Steve Swallow, on the other hand, seemed to introduce a more subtle approach ; less energy but more intricate harmonies and chord changes. This interview was another marvellous exploration of the psyche of a great musician.

Thanks Pablo. I don’t have an understanding of jazz. I like what I hear or I don’t. But your interviews are fantastic and has helped me appreciate it more. I’m a Bill Frisell fan have been for awhile. When I listen to his talk about music and how humble he is and how he talks about other musicians gave me an even better appreciation for him. Likewise Steve Swallow.
You are a wonderful interviewer . Thanks for doing this.

John Scofield / Steve Swallow / Adam Nussbaum 's record "Bar Talk" of 1980 is one of the best and most enjoyable jazz records ever made.
