As a mum of six (including twins ) and I can answer this ..with the 1St you cover them in cotton wool ,you don't want them playing in dirt and u overly watch them , by the time the second ,third etc come u realise kids are kids and give them a little more freedom with things ,so they have less fear cause u do , my youngest is a little tornado ..mine age from 22 to 5 and u can tell I got more laid back in some ways .and it's the younger ones who dont have allergies etc as I let them explore more etc x
