Ahhh Mack here I am down here in Sydney Australia seeing your videos during these crazy times and I too love to buy old records especially pre 1956 stuff of all genres back then and I love your Texas charm keep the flame burning
I've done a ton of research on this de-warping device, Now I'm sold! Got about 15 yard sale records that are warped 3 of them are from my favorite bands. Got them cleaned and bagged. Now to order this Vinyl Flat with Groovy pouch!
I Live in the Flour Bluff section of Corpus Christi. I found the Ding Dong song on RUclips and put it on a Corpus Christi Past and Present Facebook page. The last post I made on that page was on the Zachary Thacks and I got all kinds of interesting storied and links.
Cool! And hot! The trouble with too much heat is it could foul up the grooves. Interesting video!!! My oven will only go down to 170°. So I guess I'd need the bag.
Great videos !!! As a vinyl records collector i love how deep is your diggin !! Cheers from Buenos Aires Argentina , you have to try my meat and potato empanadas hahaha !!! Hope you are all fine , we under quarintine but well , a good time for enjoy watching videos and listening to music :)
Some modern ovens (yours might qualify) have a special 'bread proofing' setting that allows you to set the oven lower than the 'lowest setting' Check your owners manual...you may be surprised.......
Hey man I’m a new subscriber. That’s a cool trick, but people should be aware that heating vinyl releases toxic chemicals. ( phthalates and dioxin) Especially not something I would want to be doing in a kitchen oven where i cooked.
@@IBuyOldRecords Thanks, i don't have any sun 45s yet but i will as soon as i can buy a Jerry Lee Lewis sun 45 at my local antique store. I have some records from the 60s that do the most noteably Evie Sands "Take Me For A Little While". But thanks, i'm a huge fan.

Yes, I might try the bag, I hear it's improved
You never cease to amaze me! Great Video !
Thanks again!
Mack is the best, I could sit and watch him just drink a beer and talk about music.
Let's do that!!
That’s a success alright. Need to try that some day..
Can you please record that record and put it on RUclips. Because i couldn't find those songs anywhere on RUclips or any other website.
Hahhaha “hes sing about his dingdong!” “Turkeys and argentiant empinadas. Its a good day” I love ya
Right back atcha!
Oh my!!!! Nice Califone!
Job well done👍 are you thinking a cake next Mack maybe? Seriously though-that worked like a dream..nice one 👍👍
Maybe a pineapple upside down cake, festooned with Pat Boone 45s...
I don't know. Sticking my records in the oven is kind of a scary thought. And honestly the music still sounds a little wavery, just a little.
Takes a steady hand, and a gambler's nerve. Since the 45 cost me $1, I can gamble

Side one is a Buddy Holly style record.

Thanks for the tip! Will check ours
Do you recommend cleaning the record before baking it? And can we bake 2 between paper layers at once? Thank you sir:) Awesome video as always
Always clean it first. no, just one at a time
Great video
If I do that under the sun in an afternoon, how much time will I keep the record under the sun?
Brilliant 👍
What a device to flatten records. I have very few warped records, so it wouldn't be practical to buy such a device, but interesting nonetheless.
THERE IS ANOTHER POSTING ON RUclips AND THE FELLA THERE USED TWO PIECES OF GLASS AND THE RESULTS WERE AMAZING

Might explain some of my health issues.
I Buy Old Records 😂😂
Hello, how do you fix the hiss that records will have?
With the early Suns, they play much better with a 78 stylus

It was only bent, the oven may actually warp the vinyl..
Vinyl has to be heated or extremely bent to be considered warped..
Brother, is there a fund to which I can donate so that you may buy a real record player??
Maybe we can dewarp some people
Tough to do
cute cat.
how do you get one of them
There's a guy in Rowlett, Tx who sells these, or maybe Royce City
