He was asking Fauci's opinion on a matter that has been wildly inconsistent in practice. If you take a moment and reflect? A protest is the best example of a "mass gathering." It is okay to question things like this. If I am told to have a quota for who I can see during the holidays because of fear of spreading...? Is a protest something that will not contribute to a "super spreader event" and if we are in a health crisis why is no one telling people they should go home because of said health crisis? Health crisis does not target politics. If mass gatherings are a chance to spread wouldn't you agree that all opportunities should be shut down? Do you agree that protests could not contribute to spreading? I think people need to take a step back and reflect.

Jordan never claims that the CDC shut people down. He stated, on multiple occasions, that the government has shut things down.
He was asking Fauci's opinion on a matter that has been wildly inconsistent in practice. It was a fair question and Fauci avoided giving his opinion (though he has multiple times before) even though Jordan was asking him for it.
