The subtitles are amazing. "Attention fools, listen or perish" is straight out of my (INTJ) real life internal monologue whenever I have to talk to people.
I didn’t notice until I read this comment - an intp - and the intp one was hilarious”threatening sign” made me laugh so hard lol. Also esfj one id be like oh cool we’re matching and not even notice they wanted me to change lol
Everyone: *throws INTP a surprise party* INTP: You people are either excellent imposters impersonating my friends, or you all secretly hate me. I find both scenarios equally disturbing, so I'll just roll with the idea that you're stupid instead.
My favorite part about INTPs is walking in on them in the middle of a deep thought, giving them useless info, and see their confused/ disgruntled/ profoundly lacking Fe look in their face, while they try to make sense of me.
Indeed, ENFPs may have a reputation for being scatterbrained, but we should have known that they wouldn't forget something as significant as their friend's birthday. The ending gave me ALL of the emotional feels! 🥰💞
You're forgetting something. I (INTP) remember absolutely everyone's birthday; not because I care about them but because I'm a total Rain Man with numbers. Once you tell me the date you were born, that sequence will stay in my database forever.
INTP was so damn accurate lmao. Only difference for me is, I’d be torn between leaving to preserve my sanity, vs forcing myself to stay because omg CAKE.
One of my best memories was taking some extra pieces of cake in a to-go container from a party and eating it in the middle of the night in my hotel room with my hands.
Kristen: I'm only gonna say this once Captions: Listen or perish (Given that it's INTJ, it seems pretty accurate to me. Love to all INTJs, sincerely, an ENTP)
Hahahha same xD I prefer INTPs and ISFJs from experience, but INTJs are remarkable and everything I aspire to be but am too comfortable and relaxed to become.
Omg someone who likes us!! People tend to find me kinda socially awkward either i won't speak much or i speak too much depending on the people the time the topic and my energy levels ... So the result is "she is weird"
@@fayem4091 But are you really boring or is that what society made you think you are? The things that come out of INTJs are often enough above many peoples pay grade anyway, pearls before swine. People usually don't find stuff they don't understand interesting. Books, series and music sound hella fine to me. Many things others find interesting seem boring to me. I don't really think any of those make people boring or interesting, but what happens in your brain after the fact. Traversing usiverses in your mind is what makes you interesting in my eyes. Although, I am aware that I'm being pretty subjective here. And thags probably the whole point. Maybe someone will find you boring but there will be people who'll find you interesting. It's just about finding them, I guess.
I can imagine a whole short story for the ISFJ. She had done something like INFP, and no one remembered her birthday. ENFP's birthday happens to be on the same day, and even though they're not that close, she got invited to the party because ENFP felt like hosting an unusually big one this time. Mandy doesn't tell anyone it's also her birthday because she's hurt that no one remembered and plus she doesn't want to interrupt ENFP's birthday party. Some montage of the party plays (wait why am I thinking of this as a short film now), and then cut to Mandy sneaking to the kitchen with the cupcake. Then the part shown in the video. After that, you can do some crime film style rewind video part showing ENFP either 1. calling her friends together before the party to plan a surprise after-birthday-party for Mandy or 2. twenty minutes or so after the cupcake incident, suddenly going like "OH MY GOD IT'S MANDY'S BIRTHDAY TOO AND THAT CUPCAKE WAS FOR HERSELF" and calling her friends together in the middle of the party to plan a surprise after-birthday-party for her Maybe Mandy had told her before and she remembered, maybe she realized after thinking about why she was alone in the kitchen with a lit cupcake, maybe someone else told her And if you want this to be a longer story instead of a short story just add the entirety of the book of Mandy doing life, being ignored and left out by her friends, meeting ENFP, and other stuff, and this party is the climax. After that she becomes ENFP's friend and basically goes screw that and screw you to her old friends I'm a bit confused about the "(there's no one there)" subtitle though. It clearly showed at least two people?
Finally saw this comment. Thanks for writing it! The "there's no one there" referred to me, as an actress, pretending there's a room full of people, when really, it just me.
As an INFP I actually always pay close attention to who takes the time to congratulate me on my birthday.. ;-) And I'd looove to have that rainbow lama..
As an ENFP i put on the calendar my friends birthday date, so i am the first one to congratulate them, haha... When i didn't do that, i could remember only the birthday of my closest friends! BTW, congratulations for your birthday, i don't know when it is, but i will anticipate it. Happy birthday 😅
@@erickneres2772 Ah, thanks a lot, it's a long way off in August though.. ;-) And I put the birthdays of family members and friends in my calendar too, otherwise I couldn't remember them all..
As an INFJ, this is totally accurate. I take a day off every year and go out or chill inside with one or two friends. I've gone as far as erasing my name off the birthday lists just so, no one would know. 👀 Better than the exhaustion that comes with all the fake enthusiasm and small talk I have to put up with.
I feel you fellow INFJ! I do the exact same thing too. No fake celebration and I just like spending time with my two best friends since childhood, chilling and sharing about life... and, maybe a tad bit counseling session sprinkled in between there too @.@
I love the INFJ one! It reminds me that sometimes having Fe inferior isn't a curse; it's a blessing (most of the time, it is a curse though). This message was brought to you by the Council of INTPs.
Infj here- I can't see a situation in which high FE isn't a curse. All it does is make me feel guilty about everything I do lmao Sounds like INTPs have such more chill time
@@LAL7887 Nope! We look chill because we don't want to trust anyone with our emotions, and yet, at the same time, we desperately long for someone we can tell all our emotions to. The thing to remember is that every type has their weaknesses as well as their strengths, even with the functions they're good at, and learning to balance those out will help you to stop being so stressed. Do be warned that the learning process is more painful than continuing to live with your problems, but once you go through with it, the pain does lessen a lot. You just have to swallow a bitter pill to get there.
@@LAL7887 i mean atleast having aux Fe makes you look empathetic therefore people trust you and open up to you much more compared to those who have low fe
I am an ENFP, but I don’t think I would do that to someone. I would ask her why she is sitting all by herself in the kitchen and get really curious. But yeah, staining my clothes by mistake at important events, yep that’s me 🤣
I am an ENFP and I'd totally do that as a prank. (Like at the end of the video) One time I gifted my dad his own socks for Christmas but then I gifted him the laptop he wanted, it was hilarious XD
The sign of a true ENTJ leader is that not only does she know which type to assign to which task, and why, but also which type to let remain peacefully blitzed out in the corner.
ENTP here, doing the chores for me sounds like a great gift. But really more than any gift, it is about knowing who really does care and spending quality time, I can do without the gifts. I rarely notice the real world, so I am extremely non materialistic, I am all about learning new things, challenging my brain and connecting with people, in that order. Everything else is secondary. But because of that.... I am a terrible gift giver, which is why I have opted to not give gifts at all, lmao. Except that I do cook for some people, but other than that I give no gifts.
Intj here. I feel ya. But ... There is always a but ... In my eyes my partner should always help with their share of chores. Its a sign that they respect me, my time and of course our relationship. Now if you're referring to random people that society calls friends... Omg what a cringe. I mean if i open my home for a dinner of friends well... Maybe one of them will help with the dishes but the general rule for me is.... Noone gets into my house for any other reason except the VERY rare occasion of a visit This comment made me anxious at the thought that i should have offer to do chores for others and that's why i left mine
@@fayem4091 Well, yeah I meant about the people that you live with. That they decide to do the chores you normally would have to. For example, in your case, your partner would do their chores and yours. Indeed, it would be quite awkward for someone that doesn't live with you, to do the chores in the house. But it could be done in favors as well. For example, at work, someone volunteering to do for you, the tedious part of your job (One can only dream). But mostly quality time, I think that is what I would appreciate the most.
You cook… wow, that’s… Every other ENTP whom I know ( including myself) can’t cook to save their lives. I can bake a bit, but only simple stuff. I once nearly burned down my kitchen lol. As for the presents- I just give money. Simple and practical.
@@ginnyweasley6571 It is quite a funny story how I began cooking. One day I was simply curious and I wanted to try cooking, and my parents wanted to teach me. But I did not allowed them to teach me anything. I wanted to learn entirely by myself. I was twelve at that time, so they were not allowing me, because it could be dangerous, but i was stubborn and did so anyways... at twelve years old, I went against my parents wishes just to cook, lmao. Turns out I am a pretty good cook, my family asks me to cook for special occasions such as Christmas. And all of it I have learnt by myself through experimentation. I never use recipes or anything like that. Ideas simply come to mind, I am like, what if I do this, but I make it this way instead. And thanks to experience of experimentation, I can simply think of recipes in my mind and if whether they can work or not, just by picturing it in my mind. I do sometimes look for recipes, but mostly for inspiration, but I never use.
Another ENTP, but I do put great effort in giving gifts, because I kind of remember what the person specifically likes. So I don't agree that much. And yes, gift cards are my least favourites. @farrex0
INFP: "Wow, no one remembered my birthday. Unbelievable. Existence is pain, life is darkness, nothing matters, may the heat death of the universe come swiftly."
@Mom By The Sea Indeed. I'm an INTJ and I'm pretty blunt for the sole purpose that I don't want my words to be misinterpreted. It's taking a while but I think my family and my one friend is slowly getting the hint that I don't care for birthdays or to be the center of attention at all.
INTP: I was in sixth grade, I wasn't going to tell anyone it was my birthday. I didn't even make it past the first period before my teacher brought it up. I'm assuming she was looking at our grades and our DOB was on it.
My esfj husband told our estj friend it was my birthday. Now ever year I have to endure. After I talked to him, my esfj husband regretted telling the estj but has since forgotten to feel remorse. I endure.
I wrote a fake birthday on the class list. It was a date in the middle of summer. Thanks to all the teachers who rely on a class list rather than on official records!
Well... I can sadly and painfully relate to the ISFJ. About 2years ago, everyone including my friends forgot my birthday. I didn't want to say anything because I didn't want to bother people about me or draw attention to myself. It was the next day after I bought drinks and stuff for everyone that they knew the previous day was my birthday. Then the next year my friends made it up to me with a nice birthday surprise.
I love the inclusion of yourself in the ESFJ skit. Not even ESFP, just Kristin. Haha On a side note, if I found that someone was matching on my birthday, I’d adopt them as my twin, and it’d be a joint birthday. 😅
INTP: I actually cried once when I realized that everyone has forgotten my birthday. I didn't want much, but it was so horrible and made me feel like nobody cares about me and I'm all alone :c
Omg same!! My immediate family and friends forgot to wish me at midnight AFTER I knew they were planning for it. Turns out all of them were exhausted for various reasons, and I spent the whole night pretending to be asleep and patiently wait for them to surprise me..... But it never happened. The next day all of forgot the event and remembered it much later in the day. Then they tried to cheer me up and I had to pretend to be enjoying the day, but just wanted to isolate myself. So I've learnt from experience to not have expectations from others at all, so that it will genuinely give you joy when they do the bare minimum.
Oh it does hurt sometimes when no one remembers my birthday at all, but i totally dislike it when someone announce my birthday publicly. I just prefer to have no expectation during birthday, because it's burdensome. It's burdensome when people celebrate it because i wouldn't know how to act, but i wouldn't mind if people wish me privately. I just don't like attention i guess, i'm a fellow intp too
Since I realized that nobody set up a party for me, even the smallest I do it to myself. Needless to say most of my friends see each the others only at this occasion.
ISTP is accurate. Even if I usually don't forget my birthday. Having been born on a Friday the 13th somewhat helps with that. 😎 But I haven't really celebrated my birthday for many years apart from close family. It's the whole not wanting to be the center of the attention thing. I do still like cake and presents though. 😉
EXFJs: "It's my birthday, so obviously it has to be about other people as well!" EXTJs: "I'm going to tell people exactly what to do. Like everyday." ENXP: *Flips coin on whether to make their B-day about socialization, or solitude* ESXP: "I WANNA BE, WHERE THE PEOPLE ARE!" IXFJs: "It's my birthday, and it'll end up with me focusing on making other people happy, despite me wanting today to be for me." IXFPs: "I care about feeling good today, but I don't want to have to deal with people I don't like." IXTJs: "I might tolerate people today, but I don't want to pander to their feelings." IXTPs: "Just let me have a normal day." I know EXXPs aren't following the same rules as the rest, but it seemed a more fitting way to do it. 🤷♂️
HAHAHAHAH ENFJ is so called out. I literally affirmed everyone individually after my 21st zoom birthday party and made folks stick around for an extra hour 🤣🤣🤣🤣
ENFP here, I ended up having a birthday week with like 5 different parties with my different social circles. Edit: I forgot to mention the part where I cried because no one hyped me up and gave me extravagant emotional toasts every hour like I did for their birthdays and that crushed me inside knowing I'll never know someone as hype as me.
As a fellow ENFP, SAME, but I’m also honestly scared of the day I meet someone who hypes people up as much as me. I give compliments every second or two (because the people around me are so cool!) but I usually feel like a fraud when people give them to me, so I tend to reject them if I feel they’re unwarranted. Every compliment feels like a qualification when other people give them, and I don’t always feel qualified enough to accept!! …If I met someone like me, they’d probably be willing to get in a legitimate argument with me just to make me take a compliment. I know because I’m a hypocrite and I do this to everyone in my circle 😭😂 all of them know better than to call themselves stupid or insult their own abilities in front of me. …Actually, the other day I embarrassed myself because I was at school and a group of girls I’ve never spoken to before walked behind me. I heard one of them talking to her friends. In passing she said, “I’m so dumb-“ and on sheer instinct, I turned and shouted, “NO YOU ARENT!!!” She looked very terrified. And she meekly thanked me before scurrying away. I don’t blame her. Oops. 😭 Sometimes the hype has the opposite effect. I will try to be more tactful with it. And to not bother strangers. ANYWAY! ENFPs are ultimate hype people, hahaha. I haven’t met someone like me in that regard (and I’m kind of scared of that possibility). Though it warms my heart to know that you’re out there encouraging all of your circles!! I’m sure every single one of your friends absolutely adores you and is so grateful to have a legend like you in their lives. Keep being awesome and don’t change for anyone 🤩💞
@@sophiaredwood5825 That's soooooo relatable. M an ENFP as well and I also do that running away from compliments while complementing others and literally many friends have told how bad I m at accepting compliments , some of them think it's humility but it's just honesty because I don't deserve those compliments and m just super happy to create new memories with friends. I really liked reading ur comment Thanks
Omgosh ENFP here and I am the same lol!! I always organize amazing surprise parties for my friends and family and get them super thoughtful gifts etc and am always sad that no one does that cool stuff for me. Yet I will never stop doing those things cause it makes me so happy! ENFP struggles lol…
ok, so I am an ISFP so according to me. I would love some close people (not a big group) to appreciate and congratulate me but I certainly won't like to have a party. so this was very accurate.
Yes. I don’t like the “synthetic attention” directed at me. And i also like to add that i like to mix it up. Like playing a few games and then doing something else. I hate sitting at the same place for a long while. Sometimes i want to plan a theme if i have enough amount of energy ^^
As always, wonderfully done Kristin. I had a right big laugh when the ENTJ went about organizing and delegating everyone. Great work on the subtitles, they are just a tiny aspect, but they really heighten the humour. At 5:07, I am not ashamed of saying I genuinely do thank people for the EFFORT of coming to my birthday-party. I find it absolutely stunning that you managed to catch such an important aspect of the ENFJ experience. I would like to sincerely apologize to all people I've involved in a speech when I hardly know them. I hope you have a wonderful day forwards Kristin, truly! See you around! -Moobles
Props to you for being able to put all your love out there like that, I only make those speeches in private when I'm not in any way sober lol. I'm probably the least mushy ENFJ ever. I just trust that people know I'm their ride or die without me ever hugging them or initiating any sentimental conversations 🙃 they always get the memo somehow
As an INTJ, I used to struggle to come up with things when friends and or family asked what I would like for my birthday. I was admittedly inclined to just say cash, but that isn’t really socially accepted. So for a while it was gift cards. But since then, the solution has become obvious. I do not know how it took me so long to realize it. Books. I would be hard pressed to think of a gift the brings me greater levels of happiness and satisfaction than those associated with reading a good book. Unfortunately, it becomes hard to properly store books after the first several hundred. Maybe one day I’ll open up my own library, and allow people to borrow my books, so that others may enjoy their gift, as opposed to them simply gathering dust.
My bookshelf is so full of all the books people got me for my birthday and Christmas. I love books. Nowadays I ask for specific, practical gifts, such as a lampshade or charging cord for my old MP3 player that has probably a thousand hours of music on it, that I intend on using. It saves me money while making my family members think I am super easy to please (and maybe a bit weird). I would not be able to hide a pained facial expression if they gave me clutter. -one of many INTJs Disclaimer: I am not claiming to represent all or even a vast majority of INTJs or attempting to be relatable. I merely think there may be a pattern to the types of gifts that INTJs like, and I must provide data so that someone can discover the pattern in the future and use it for good.
@@alicialexists there is something to be said for practical and useful gifts, and I most certainly do not need more clutter. You may not speak for all INTJ’s, but this one agrees with you.
Close to home there, Kristin. As an INFJ, I could not even accurately count the number of times I did things that I didn't want to do (that were supposed to be for me) to keep others happy. Each time I swear that's the last time I would cave in like that, only to do it again and again.
I'm an INFJ. For me, birthdays are an excuse for cake, presents and dinners out. I sometimes even take the day off on my birthday so I can enjoy it with my family (and sleep in). My workplace always gets good cakes (ex. red velvet, double chocolate, not basic sheet cake) so I look forward to that. My coworkers are fun to be around, too.
Despite me being ISTP I'm actually a bit excited about my birthday this Sunday. Of course it helps that there will be no Birthday Party (yay!). I'm just waiting for excuse to buy good Champaign, prepare something unusual for dinner and have a me-day with my family) But when I was little I hate it when my parents organised Birthday Parties for me. I always felt quite uncomfortable being in the centre of attention.
English isn't my native language, so the added subtitles are really helpful! I also really enjoy these long videos with great quality, thank you for making my day better every now and then!😃
INFP (internally): Let's see who remembers my birthday... But then again, I always forget people's birthdays. I never even know what day it is. Is it too much to expect people to just remember my birthday? Okay, I'm not going to get offended if someone forgets. No big deal. INFP at the end of the day: 😒😢
ISTP: So it's my birthday in just over a week. Aged 23. I have little care for it People have asked me what I want and I have no clue I have also forgotten multiple times that it is so soon. I only care about it because I know people want to get me things. Otherwise I would quite happily just skip past it. Yes another year. Who cares. The one gift I would ask for is time/energy after a long day. I'm only 23, can't believe I'm already saying that. In the past I have also forgotten how old I was and had to Google it. I was also more cruel with Facebook in the past. I put the day out by 2 days to really put people to the test.
Funny thing I recently started to face the same problem with remembering my exact age. And I end up calculating it. So you are not alone on that front! And wishing for more energy ☺️
I am amazed at how this video predict my reaction as an intp during birthday. Like how do you know i dislike people announced my birthday publicly?? When i was in high school, i will dread if people remember my birthday and someone gonna announce it to the whole class. I kinda dread the attention, I don't mind if people wish me privately though, but i also won't mind if people don't remember my birthday 😅
As an ENFJ I feel attacked hahaha. When I had several good housemates my Senior year of college I wanted to write a personalized letter to all of them highlighting how great of people they are and how much they meant to me lololol it basically would have went like the skit In this. I love these videos thank you so much for the consistent uploads!
@@dearkristin It wasn't a game for me so much as wanting to know whether the well-wishes were really on someone's mind or whether it was perfunctory for them. When I wished my INTP friend "Happy Birthday", they just said "Oh no, someone remembered" and when I asked, "What?" they just said "I'm messing around, I've just been waiting to see if anyone remembered... So far, you're the first"
@@restlessmosaic I had to google that word. I was not disappointed. I filed it in the back with all the other words I'll probably never use. Still good to know :-)
For this one I’m no typical INTP I guess. I like celebrating my birthday with close friends and family. You would never find me working in an office though 😄
I'm INFP and would totally do that! Though I'm often the one who remembers everyone's birthdays and reminds them to the others. Also; The INTP and ESFP were hillarious! The ISFP skit was so cute (I kinda related to it too actually). I'mm already feeling bad for the ISFJ and INFJ. I loved the straight-forwardness of theI NTJ and ENTP, the ENFJ trying to make everyone feel welcomed, and how the ISTP just doesn't really care about her own birthday. Why am I not surprised at the ESTJ having a pre-approved list of possible gifts? And definitely the ESTP one sounds like how my ESTP brother would celebrate his birthday if my parents didn't prevent it.😅
Today's my ENFP sister's birthday, and mine was last wednesday, this is interesting. I'm an INTP and I usually spend it doing a movie marathon, last year I watched my favorite episodes from each season of TWD while waiting for the season 10 finale.
Bro the ISTJ was so accurate. My birthday recently passed (Sep 11) and one of my coworker gave me a gift. They all started saying open it. In my mind I was like wtf not this bullshit. So I opened it and it was a wallet. Not saying that I don't appreciate it but I was like I already have a wallet. So I had this weird as smile, it was embarrassing. I hate birthdays. -ISTJ
The INTJ one was so typical.😂I'm an INTJ and on my 16th birthday I told all of my friends and family that I don't want any more birthday celebrations at all, and I told then to avoid even wishing me a "happy birthday" when the day arrived, they all were baffled but ultimately complied. The funny thing is that I still have to do all of those things for them on their birthdays despite my personal stances on the practice. This is due to that most of my family and friends are sentimentalist and they catch feelings when I don't at least say happy birthday to them.😂🤷♂️
That's true. Although I don't say HB to them anymore. I explained the point of view I have for these kind of celebrations and everyone agreed, but still didn't comply haha
I laughed so hard at the ISTJ. My ISTJ hubby has told me every single one of those things, like word for word!!! He hates getting presents and has finally in past year or so asked everyone to please not get him anything.
Inf-j: I have a habit of watching your vids without giving consideration to how I’d actually act. So this time I did and thought: “probably something existential or depressing or lonely” I lol’d after seeing your portrayal. It’d be that under suppressed emotions from childhood 🥲
My husband who can never remember the letter combinations: INTP: oh that is so you! INTJ: no, this is you. ISTJ: Was that... no, yours was already... Well I have to give it to him, they all kind of apply to me (INTJ)
Yeah, if you want to ruin any experience for me, make it a surprise or make me the center of some kind of hullabaloo. Doing both at the same time is downright cruel.
I had to invite people until my 15th birthday. Never was so happy as that birthday when I didn't anymore. Still don't invite people. Never had a lot of friends either... Who thought big birthday parties were a good idea for introverts
Dear Kristin, I just wanted to let you know that whenever I feel slightly down or tired, I go to your channel and watch your videos. And you always manage to make me laugh again. Thank you so much for what you do, and I think it's just a matter of time before your videos are discovered by a larger crowd. Your acting is priceless! Never stop doing what you do and never stop believing in yourself. - ISFP
Ahhh Kristin, I absolutely adore these videos! Thank you for sharing these videos, the INFP ones are always so accurate! They help me feel appreciated and understood 💕
As INTP, that was very accurate. But I admit I do mix some ISTP and INFP in my birthday as well: I don't celebrate my birthdays and it's definitely not an active element in my thoughts (this year I remembered it only after seeing a date in the newspaper..."oh, it's Nth of this month, that's my birthday"...and had to calculate my age based on what year it is...) And I certainly don't advertise it, but in INFP style, I do appreciate if people nevertheless remember it (and wish me happy birthday individually. Texting is perfect)
ISFJ here and I can totally relate to feeling forgotten on a birthday. One year, I decided I wanted to have a party and invite all my friends. And the only people that showed up to my family's house was my grandparents. One friend that I invited brought me a present later, but no one else even remembered that I invited them to my birthday party. Worst birthday ever. You find out who your real friends are...I am not in contact with any of those people anymore. Several years later, my ENFP sister threw me a birthday party and invited (different) people I was friends with. They actually showed up that time!
I have the captions on for a change and apparently I've been missing out. The INTJ was spot on, although ISTJ is definitely relatable except that I'm a sucker for puns. Again, I must be a dad in a parallel universe. Speaking of dads, I've been trying to type my dad, but he refuses to have anything to do with mbti, but he's definitely the ISTP here. Hmm.
As intp - I'd be thankful for the trouble they went through but horrified at the idea of being the centre of attention and the dreaded happy birthday song where everyone looks at you.
@@trinaq ... and immediately we regret promising to go to work or school. Even if you really are sick and you get a chance to stay home, you regret it aswell and feel awful.
INTJ. I hate birthdays because everyone around me assumes I have other closer people who I spend it with and receive gifts from... Not realising I don't have anyone besides them, so they inadvertently remind me of that fact all day. It's the loneliest time of the year.
The loneliest day of the year? Is Valentine's Day not a big thing where you live? That one's even worse than Christmas in my book. Valentine's Day is like going down to a cancer ward and talking about all the great things you plan on doing in the next five to ten years.
@@frigginjerk In some countries Valentines day isn't that big of a thing. It has certainly grown the last years where I come from but as a very lonely person I say new years eve is the worst. Christmas and birthdays I have my family but during typical "friend" holidays it's difficult.
@@PearlPaisley Yeah, New Year's Eve is a contender. Getting older makes it easier for me, personally. There's usually still a few uncomfortable "What are your plans" or "What did you do" conversations, but I can just play the "I'm old and boring, so it's just another 10:30 PM bedtime for me" card.
@@frigginjerk I do not like conventionality when it comes to romantic relationships (Fi talking here), so Valentine's Day is just a nuisance for me. I'd rather ignore it and do anything else any other day of the year with a SO -and for 7 years, that's what I did.
SPOT ON! As an INFP, Facebook birthday wishes 1000% feel, for the most part, perfunctory and superficial, and I DO ABSOLUTELY wonder who would send those wishes were it not for the FB reminder. Not necessarily that I believe those who just type "Happy birthday!" are not REAL friends, but that I crave genuine interactions, and it's hard to tell which of those kinds of wishes are for form's sake and which are motivated by genuine care.
For one entire day each year, you'll be saying, "Thanks, you didn't have to," while thinking about the projects you want to get back to. ~istp life. But then there's cake, so I guess it's worth it.
I’ve hided my birth date on facebook so noone notices. If someone knows it’s my birthday from some other source and dms me or approaches me irl then sure that’s nice. For me personally it’s kinda sad day because I just got one year older and I’m still far away from accomplishing my goals, I’m getting there tho so no need to be that harsh for myself I guess. I prefer to celebrate successes, goals accomplished by months or years of hard work, fails along the way, losing hope, ups and downs. Then it’s triumph time, get expensive alcohols, best food, invite friends. This is a day worth remembering it. I’m getting really emotional thinking about what I’ve been through but now it’s reality. Truly euphoric and beautiful
I am definitely INTP when it comes to birthdays..just what i was expecting u did acurate presentation of INTP..actualy i did changed my birthdate on facebook, but not to find real friends, just so that on my actual birth day, no one should bother me..! (After that i deleted my facebook acount) Edit- i also faced very similar situations like shown here for INFJ..! Anyways, I am so glad seeing notification of ur video at end of the day like getting favourite desert after not so good day.. ~fellow INFP.
@@J11_boohoo 😄😄 and i relate to INTP, but also infp too, it is different for some specific things..and i am in technical field (Engineer)~ INTP but that career decision was wrong..~INFP.
INTJ here. Both INTJ and ISTP are relatable for me (sometimes I do know, but I just act like ISTP). When I was kid, I used to be more like INTP though.
ISFP would have been relatable if there were actually real people there! 😂 Preferably just an INFJ and an INFP, or maybe just one friend at a time spending an afternoon together once a week throughout my birthday month. I don't want a big party all at once with tons going on, but I do enjoy celebrating with my small collection of special people, and my tiny rebellious streak doesn't feel bound to the actual birthdate. ❤️ The "inanimate objects as guests at the party" element was giving me INFP vibes, to be honest! 🧚 And one of my INFP friends actually does this! It's very sweet, but I'm more grounded in reality when it comes to my own birthday plans. 🎀 As usual, though, I really enjoyed the skit! Especially with the subtitles!!
Kristen: Has scene featuring matching outfits on both characters she plays... still goes through the effort of wear a slightly different top for each instead of taking the easy way out of wearing the same thing for both. Most impressive. Well done! Also, happy (probable) birthday, Kristen! On one hand, the actions of her ESFP character and the subject matter of the video gives a big, blaring indication, yet on the other, her not coming right out and saying it outside of character seems a little bit too subtle for the stereotypical ESFP. Even still, she does frequently put little Easter egg-type details in all her videos and she certainly displays many qualities that suggest a good willingness and propensity to venture from the default inclinations of her type (as many sapiens do with growth and age). Thus, it's probable - as opposed to merely possible - that it is/ was recently/ is soon to be her birthday. Either way, congrats on making it through another Earth-solar revolution! Birthday or no, making it through the past year has been a little harder than usual for most, so it is indeed a thing worth celebrating.
INTP here: for my 13th birthday we were actually visiting my grandparents and half of the day went by before anyone remembered it was my birthday. (Excluding my INTP brother who said happy birthday very quietly when the day first began... actually it wasn’t even that quiet cuz I remember glancing around wondering if anyone had heard him...) But it was hilarious being in the car and meeting up withs some of my aunts whem one of them wished me happy birthday and seeing the immediate horror on my mom’s face as she whipped her head around to see me and exclaimed “HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!” I just laughed and to this day I find it humorous lol
As a weird mix of INTP and INFP: I agree 100% with the INTJ, would be panicking about a potential surprise birthday party (what a horror) like the INTP, and I do not have my birthday on my Facebook page like the INFP - but because I don't want to be bothered by acquaintances or people who are not a part of my inner circle for meaningless social pleasantries on my day. I usually end up having lunch with my closest family so they're not hurt or offended (and also because I like them and it makes my heart warm to feel loved and cheered by them). The rest of the day is mine... 😎 to do whatever the hell I feel like. Which could be staying at home as usual 💻📚🎵🐈or going for a walk somewhere without a fixed plan, to get inspiration for my future. Sometimes the walk is on the beach with the family after our meal together. I just want a peaceful chill day full of free personal time and space tbh, to think about life and also to really relax in my own way.
Even if it's not your birthday, Kristin, it's the first day of spring in your part of the world! And happy birthday, whenever that might be. (I'm an INTP trying to work on my inferior Fe)
As an intp, i barely bring up the fact it’s my birthday on my birthday lol, unless someone asks, ‘oh, how was your day today?’ I’ll say, ‘it’s been good, i celebrated my birthday with my family…” something along those lines.
I'm not sure Kristin in her natural habitat does subtle by choice, unless of course she's in character. She is of course capable of it, but why deny everyone the joy of being around her? :)
This is true - I don't do subtle. I also haven't caught on to the whole "release themed videos on significant dates" (ie the Horror Film which could have been released on Halloween 😂). But thank you nonetheless! My birthday is in December 😊
@@dearkristin lol! I have thrown a good friend under the bus with this comment, but I think she would admit that she's a walking red flag, so it's okay.

The inclusion of subtitles with internal monologues has elevated your content into the cosmos
Hahaha thanks! They have become one of the joys of my week 👌
Thanks so much for this comment I didn’t know and what a gift those subtitles are
The subtitles are amazing. "Attention fools, listen or perish" is straight out of my (INTJ) real life internal monologue whenever I have to talk to people.
Agreed! I said my favorite was the INFJ -- perpetually trapped in Fe (or something to that effect).
I didn’t notice until I read this comment - an intp - and the intp one was hilarious”threatening sign” made me laugh so hard lol. Also esfj one id be like oh cool we’re matching and not even notice they wanted me to change lol
i saw "turn on the captions for more fun" only at the end, so here i am watching it twice XD
I literally thought it was just me who doesn't like celebrating birthdays and letting the whole world (especially social media) know about it.
Everyone: *throws INTP a surprise party*

Omg someone who likes us!! People tend to find me kinda socially awkward either i won't speak much or i speak too much depending on the people the time the topic and my energy levels ... So the result is "she is weird"
@@fayem4091 Weird is worlds better then boring!
@@julyol119 well i consider myself boring... I live and die within my routines my books and series and music
After that, you can do some crime film style rewind video part showing ENFP either
1. calling her friends together before the party to plan a surprise after-birthday-party for Mandy or
2. twenty minutes or so after the cupcake incident, suddenly going like "OH MY GOD IT'S MANDY'S BIRTHDAY TOO AND THAT CUPCAKE WAS FOR HERSELF" and calling her friends together in the middle of the party to plan a surprise after-birthday-party for her
Maybe Mandy had told her before and she remembered, maybe she realized after thinking about why she was alone in the kitchen with a lit cupcake, maybe someone else told her
And if you want this to be a longer story instead of a short story just add the entirety of the book of Mandy doing life, being ignored and left out by her friends, meeting ENFP, and other stuff, and this party is the climax. After that she becomes ENFP's friend and basically goes screw that and screw you to her old friends
I'm a bit confused about the "(there's no one there)" subtitle though. It clearly showed at least two people?
Finally saw this comment. Thanks for writing it! The "there's no one there" referred to me, as an actress, pretending there's a room full of people, when really, it just me.
I'm an ISTP and I identified more in this skit with the ISTJ reactions, especially the "remembers to use facial expressions." hahaha! that's perfect.
Same, I was jumping between "is it ISTJ or ISTP?" because I related to it so much.

As an infp, I completely agree with you. Add to that that my birthday was literally yesterday, this video feels like it called me out
As an ENFP i put on the calendar my friends birthday date, so i am the first one to congratulate them, haha... When i didn't do that, i could remember only the birthday of my closest friends! BTW, congratulations for your birthday, i don't know when it is, but i will anticipate it. Happy birthday 😅

Noone gets into my house for any other reason except the VERY rare occasion of a visit
This comment made me anxious at the thought that i should have offer to do chores for others and that's why i left mine
You cook… wow, that’s…
Every other ENTP whom I know ( including myself) can’t cook to save their lives.

I can just see the INTJ's friends doing all the the things she told them not to, thinking she was giving them hints 😂
Every damn time lol
INTP: I was in sixth grade, I wasn't going to tell anyone it was my birthday. I didn't even make it past the first period before my teacher brought it up. I'm assuming she was looking at our grades and our DOB was on it.
Haha, that's incrediblely relatable. Usually we only find out because it's on the class list of birthdays.
My esfj husband told our estj friend it was my birthday. Now ever year I have to endure. After I talked to him, my esfj husband regretted telling the estj but has since forgotten to feel remorse. I endure.
And it's none of anyone's business that it's my birthday.
I wrote a fake birthday on the class list. It was a date in the middle of summer. Thanks to all the teachers who rely on a class list rather than on official records!
Wow what is this foreign world
Aww that's beautiful!
I love the inclusion of yourself in the ESFJ skit. Not even ESFP, just Kristin. Haha
On a side note, if I found that someone was matching on my birthday, I’d adopt them as my twin, and it’d be a joint birthday. 😅
Love this energy 🙌
I just don't like attention i guess, i'm a fellow intp too
I never wanted something big, but almost every birthday up to a certain year I had no idea who to invite cause I had no friends lol
Same. I don't like high-key parties, but I'd appreciate a little something nice. ~ INTP

Books can make gifts for sure.
One universally good present I think can satisfy like everyone without disappointment is a notebook.
My bookshelf is so full of all the books people got me for my birthday and Christmas. I love books.
Nowadays I ask for specific, practical gifts, such as a lampshade or charging cord for my old MP3 player that has probably a thousand hours of music on it, that I intend on using. Close to home there, Kristin. As an INFJ, I could not even accurately count the number of times I did things that I didn't want to do (that were supposed to be for me) to keep others happy. Each time I swear that's the last time I would cave in like that, only to do it again and again.
I totally agree. 100%
Guilty as charged 🥶
I'm an INFJ. For me, birthdays are an excuse for cake, presents and dinners out. I sometimes even take the day off on my birthday so I can enjoy it with my family (and sleep in).
My workplace always gets good cakes (ex. red velvet, double chocolate, not basic sheet cake) so I look forward to that. My coworkers are fun to be around, too.
Despite me being ISTP I'm actually a bit excited about my birthday this Sunday. Of course it helps that there will be no Birthday Party (yay!). I'm just waiting for excuse to buy good Champaign, prepare something unusual for dinner and have a me-day with my family)
But when I was little I hate it when my parents organised Birthday Parties for me. I always felt quite uncomfortable being in the centre of attention.
Wish you all the best fellow ISTP :3
@@julias482 Wow! Thank you so much!😍 Cheers! 🍾🍷
I hope you had a wonderful birthday! 💗
English isn't my native language, so the added subtitles are really helpful!
I also really enjoy these long videos with great quality, thank you for making my day better every now and then!😃
Naw, you're welcome! Glad my videos have such an impact 😊😊
INFP (internally): Let's see who remembers my birthday... But then again, I always forget people's birthdays. I never even know what day it is. Is it too much to expect people to just remember my birthday? Okay, I'm not going to get offended if someone forgets. No big deal.
INFP at the end of the day: 😒😢
ISTP:
So it's my birthday in just over a week. Aged 23.
I have little care for it
People have asked me what I want and I have no clue
I have also forgotten multiple times that it is so soon.
I put the day out by 2 days to really put people to the test.
but you wrote this comment about your birthday...
I'm with you on the time/energy thing. Would love just one extra hour in the day
@@pm-rj7ef I wonder why? It's not like the video was about birthdays
@@Jimmy_Jones nevermind. Happy birthday mate
Funny thing I recently started to face the same problem with remembering my exact age. And I end up calculating it.
So you are not alone on that front!
And wishing for more energy ☺️
ISTP is too accurate. I once thought my birthday was on the 4th… it’s actually the 2nd. I wrote it down on a form my sister had to correct me.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
I once made a email account which included my birthday only to realize months later that July was the 7th month, not the 6th month
I was laughing so much at ESFJ's passive aggressive laugh after ordering Kristin to change clothes asdfhahahahahah
RIGHT!?? it gets me every time
As an ENFJ I feel attacked hahaha.
When I had several good housemates my Senior year of college I wanted to write a personalized letter to all of them highlighting how great of people they are and how much they meant to me lololol it basically would have went like the skit In this.
I love these videos thank you so much for the consistent uploads!
No worries, glad you enjoy them!!
I'm an INTP, but I absolutely did the INFP's thing about 10 years ago. I learned a lot.
It terrifies me when people play this game, because I am SO bad at remembering dates!
@@dearkristin It wasn't a game for me so much as wanting to know whether the well-wishes were really on someone's mind or whether it was perfunctory for them. I just don't want perfunctory things in my life.
(I DO, however, want to say perfunctory. It's a great word. It's like a factory where they perforate funk.)
Bahaha I didn't even think about that element!
Ya, I would work in a bakery so I can get treats.
Same here😆
-an INTP
That's honestly my ultimate birthday right there! I'm stoked for season 11 of TWD btw!
This is due to that most of my family and friends are sentimentalist and they catch feelings when I don't at least say happy birthday to them.😂🤷♂️
Fascinating!
All I asked on my birthday was to be left alone and not to be talked to increase the efficiency of my day.
So this time I did and thought: “probably something existential or depressing or lonely”
I lol’d after seeing your portrayal. It’d be that under suppressed emotions from childhood 🥲
I feel like a lot of us INFJ just watch this videos and comment the least possible, why are we like this?
@@saraps1 Personally I think my Ni is so comfortable just absorbing information, and putting stuff together later. What about you? Or any others
@@edwardzhou8590 I think that too, is like, there's no need of do a comment, I only comment when I have a question or when other person do a question.
My husband who can never remember the letter combinations:
INTP: oh that is so you!
INTJ: no, this is you.
ISTJ: Was that... no, yours was already...
Well I have to give it to him, they all kind of apply to me (INTJ)
I love how the ESFJ giggles after snapping. I should try that on my kids.
INTJ is spot on! that was exactly my speech when my friends tried to throw me a surprise party.
Yeah, if you want to ruin any experience for me, make it a surprise or make me the center of some kind of hullabaloo. Doing both at the same time is downright cruel.
Yup. I hate surprise parties. I usually hate surprise anything, really. ;)
I don’t like birthdays...
Cause I’m now obligated to invite friends I don’t have
I had to invite people until my 15th birthday. Never was so happy as that birthday when I didn't anymore. Still don't invite people. Never had a lot of friends either...
Who thought big birthday parties were a good idea for introverts
Your captions and your representation of the INTP will never cease to make me utter a choppy high pitched air wobble known as a "laugh".
INFJ here, and totally agree with not going to work to avoid the office birthday cake, but also identified with ISTJ and the presents issues...
Dear Kristin,
I just wanted to let you know that whenever I feel slightly down or tired, I go to your channel and watch your videos. And you always manage to make me laugh again. Thank you so much for what you do, and I think it's just a matter of time before your videos are discovered by a larger crowd. Your acting is priceless! Never stop doing what you do and never stop believing in yourself.

Aww this comment is so sweet. I'm glad I found it. Thank you 🥰
Ahhh Kristin, I absolutely adore these videos! Thank you for sharing these videos, the INFP ones are always so accurate! They help me feel appreciated and understood 💕
You're welcome! Glad you enjoy, and thanks for the comment!
As INTP, that was very accurate. But I admit I do mix some ISTP and INFP in my birthday as well: I don't celebrate my birthdays and it's definitely not an active element in my thoughts (this year I remembered it only after seeing a date in the newspaper..."oh, it's Nth of this month, that's my birthday"...and had to calculate my age based on what year it is...)
And I certainly don't advertise it, but in INFP style, I do appreciate if people nevertheless remember it (and wish me happy birthday individually.
I'm going to make a guess as an enfp myself ; I think the ENFP will forget her own birthday
Hahaha a great idea 👌 I decided to lay off the ENFP a bit in this one... and gave her chocolate on her face instead.
Ahhh omigosh! I love your Zelda shirt! I had no idea you were a fan! Eeeee fangirling currently lol
As an INFJ, you have my approval.
Too true, I'd also try to call in sick, but then immediately cave once they insisted on doing something for it!
@@trinaq ... and immediately we regret promising to go to work or school. Even if you really are sick and you get a chance to stay home, you regret it aswell and feel awful.
@@SpyGenesis Precisely, INFJs just seem to be the perpetual people pleasers out of all the types, much to our detriment!
The scene after the outro is so wholesome, I love your creativity Kristin.
INTJ. I hate birthdays because everyone around me assumes I have other closer people who I spend it with and receive gifts from... Not realising I don't have anyone besides them, so they inadvertently remind me of that fact all day. It's the loneliest time of the year.
Aw, gosh 😔 sorry to hear.
(After that i deleted my facebook acount)
Edit- i also faced very similar situations like shown here for INFJ..!
Anyways, I am so glad seeing notification of ur video at end of the day like getting favourite desert after not so good day..

I’m an INTP and I tend to relate to INFP memes and skits A LOT
Aww this is sweet. Thank you.
@@J11_boohoo 😄😄 and i relate to INTP, but also infp too, it is different for some specific things..and i am in technical field (Engineer)~ INTP but that career decision was wrong..~INFP.
I am the only one starting crying at my birthday ha,ha (INFJ) !! Loved the video as always!
INTJ here.
Both INTJ and ISTP are relatable for me (sometimes I do know, but I just act like ISTP). When I was kid, I used to be more like INTP though.
ISTP: I honestly am Very Impressed how you can put yourself in other's shoes so accurately! It's amazing
Especially with the subtitles!!
oh my god i wish i saw the ending scene sooner! i was upset about it for MONTHS thats such a relief
Lmao the ESFJ one is hilarious. But they do generally throw pretty good parties that are well-organized. 🎂💥🎉
"and now I have to go through the hassle of pretending to like it" so freaking relatable 😂😂
Hahaha thanks for the well-wishes! December 14 is my birthday! 😁
INTP here: for my 13th birthday we were actually visiting my grandparents and half of the day went by before anyone remembered it was my birthday. (Excluding my INTP brother who said happy birthday very quietly when the day first began... actually it wasn’t even that quiet cuz I remember glancing around wondering if anyone had heard him...)
But it was hilarious being in the car and meeting up withs some of my aunts whem one of them wished me happy birthday and seeing the immediate horror on my mom’s face as she whipped her head around to see me and exclaimed “HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!”
I just laughed and to this day I find it humorous lol
ESFJ part was so good. A figure part should be replaced with “A random ENFP that destroy everything” 😀
Hahaha *eats chips*
ISTP. I just KNEW she was gonna forget her birthday lmaoooo
So accurate.
INFJ, here , I always enjoy your vids, another great one Kristin
I didn't say I don't want a birthday
I just said it wasn't such a big occasion to throw a party

Even if it's not your birthday, Kristin, it's the first day of spring in your part of the world! And happy birthday, whenever that might be. (I'm an INTP trying to work on my inferior Fe)
Thank you! My birthday is Dec 14! And spring has been fantastic so far 👌
Oh no poor ISFJ :(
But great video!!

Something tells me kristin would love that rainbow llama. ;) By the way, nice of you to include a kristin this time! Very meta. ;)
the isfp is so accurate lmaooo except maybe i'll want my pets there instead of the stuffed toys 😂
As an intp, i barely bring up the fact it’s my birthday on my birthday lol, unless someone asks, ‘oh, how was your day today?’ I’ll say, ‘it’s been good, i celebrated my birthday with my family…” something along those lines.
The infj one got me🤪 i'd rather attend a dreadful hbd party than refusing their efforts, takes out my bum and later makes me feel bad.
That funny little proper snooty embarrassed noise the ESFJ made and the INFJ's sobbing were so hilarious I had to rewatch them several times.
I assume this is ESFP Kristin’s subtle way of letting us all know it’s her birthday, so happy birthday!!!!!
@@dearkristin Lol, I will try and remember for December then.

ISFP is having an adorable birthday. It's sad when you can rely on stuffed animals more than humans, though. (said the INTJ's massive Fi).
