Hello sir, I have a small furniture business in Ranchi which has not crossed Rs 20 lakh in revenue, so I did not opt for GST number... Since the business is not running well I am going for an online e-commerce business which requires GST number from day 1 for receiving online payments. How to make this possible sir, to have one business without GST and the other with GST?? Furniture requires 18% GST in regular filing and my new business requires 5% GST.. please answer sir 🙏

Principal place of business should be the office or shop from where you operate the business more often.U don't need it if you are operating it from your own house or rented flat.
