As a person with an autoimmune disease, arthritis, and a heart condition I chose to look to my diet for answers. I was at a point that little tasks caused me to be exhausted. The final straw for me was when I washed my hair in the shower I got so exhausted I had to lay across my bed and rest before I could dry off, put clothes on, much less do my hair. That’s when I knew something had to change. 1st I took a food intolerance test and discovered several foods that I was intolerant to. While researching I also came across several doctors that recommended the carnivore diet. I must say that this was extreme but I was in so much pain I gave it a try. I can’t tell you what a dramatic change in my symptoms this diet made. My arthritis went away, my heart palpitations stopped, I’m able to walk further and I’m less tired. This might be something for you to research. I saw improvement within a week. I will list some Dr. on RUclips that speak on this diet and the benefits:
    Dr. Tony Hampton
    Dr. Anthony Chaffe
    Dr. Berg
    Dr. Ken Berry

I have fibromyalgia too…I remembered weird aches as a kid. I noticed more pain issues after my 3rd child and just figured it was normal to be so tired and be so achy down to the bones! I would flare up and couldn’t move…felt like I had been tumbled on high in the dryer. I had all the labs done twice….nothing. Officially diagnosed in 2018. I have good and bad days. Stress is definitely a trigger for my flares. I try to eat Whole Foods, avoid processed foods most of the time and exercise as my body can allow. I tried weight lifting and it made my muscles weaker and exhausted me. Everyone’s path is different. I was prescribed Cymbalta and a muscle relaxer once diagnosed…doctors love to just write prescriptions 😩 but I refused to take medication. Our bodies are designed to heal and a lot of the foods, drugs and just this environment are making us sick and killing us. I opted to go holistic all the way with my diet, gentle exercises, warm showers/baths, manage stress, get 7-9 hrs of sleep at night, and just move! I have pain everyday in some capacity but this has been my normal for almost 20 years. I don’t know how it feels to live pain free 😢, but No matter how bad I feel, I keep moving. Take care ❤

Hi Shelly, first time commenting on your channel… I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia at 37 years old….
I started to feel pain at 28 years old, i ignored it for years, as time passed it got worse”…..
I force my old PCP (not my doctor anymore due to her not taking me seriously) to refer me to a rheumatologist…
When my RA doctor read my results of my blood work and she did the points to see I had Fibromyalgia, she told me I was positive for both!!!
I felt relieved but I felt betrayed by my own body… I end up being depressed for a couple of years after that…
I am in treatment and all, but please find other alternatives like, IV infusion therapy, they mention that’s is the best thing to do!!!! Medications has so many side effects, you are not alone, trust me it’s so hard at first, but I always put God in first place of what’s to come”…..

I have Fibromyalgia and Lupus. The main thing is do not stress out. Stress triggers the pain in your body. I take Lyrica for the pain. It gets better with time. Change your diet as well, I don't get in the sun slot. Mske sure your body gets enough rest, hydration and proper nutrition. Praying for you. I was there with all the symptoms, it does get better over time.

Staying out the sun, then you end up having to take vitamin daily. I have fibromyalgia, and osteoarthritis. It's taking over 20 years for me to feel a little bit better. There's so much that goes along with this. Still learning Still going through.

I have Sjögren’s Syndrome and Inflammatory arthritis, and also maybe POTS. Sjögren’s is very closely related to Lupus, I have all the same symptoms, plus dry eyes, dry scalp, and dry skin. Most of my symptoms are exactly like Lupus. My rheumatologist put me on Hydroxychloroquine and just recently methyalprednisone.
I'm still learning about my illness, and I've met people online that have both Lupus and Sjögren’s.

Hi Shell, I have fibromyalgia and I just dumped my 2nd rheumatologist. I was learning more from my primary care doctor and Google. I had to recommend that they ran more test. It took me about 7 years to finally get a diagnosis. The doctors really don’t know enough about fibromyalgia and a lot of autoimmune diseases, so instead of being honest and saying that, they just play it off meanwhile you’re the one in pain and feeling shitty. I hope that you find a great doctor to help you out, I have yet to find a good one. Remember doctor offices are called practices because they are literally practicing, there’s a lot that they don’t know and that’s really SAD

I feel you so much on this video. Autoimmune diseases are so incredibly complex and it took 6 years before I was finally diagnosed and able to get the proper treatment. Hang in there and do what makes you feel better. I’ve found solace in daily exercises, even if it’s just a walk, as well as regular deep tissue massages to help battle inflammation. You’re not alone Shellz❤

Hi, I’m sorry to have seen that you are having a hard time at the moment.
When I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia over 15 years ago, my response to the rheumatologist was “ if you don’t know what’s wrong with me just say that”
I eventually learned to accept the diagnosis after the journey you are now staring.
First everyone’s triggers are different, as is everyone’s symptoms. Primarily are pain, stomach upset, sleeplessness and brain fog, only based on reading the experiences of others.
It is however diagnosed by pressure points proven to be effected by this ailment.
Every medical diagnosis does not require a blood test or an X-ray.
The diagnosis is not a life sentence, it requires you to learn your triggers and accept the limitations you might still have, even when you do everything right.
After all of the above I wanted to tell you, it’s not a
life sentence. Prepare to live, not lay down and die.
Look up successful people with fibro.
Find out what can trigger if anything your possible autoimmune to become active. Be your own advocate, get your answers and then live. 😊

Just turned 40yrs & been living with it for a lil over 10yrs now. Back whn I was diagnosed “Fibromyalgia” wasn’t even a name😪 I had to finally join fibromyalgia health groups AND changing my Doctor. I learned more about Fibro (wat I call it) fibromyalgia is a VERY INVASIVE PAIN! Foods down to just letting someone make u mad could cause a flare with fibromyalgia 😢 anywho, my best recommendation is do as much of ur own research as u could because fibromyalgia is still a very new disease and even doctors are STILL learning about it……….

I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia when in my early 40’s and I’m 77 now. Two years ago I was diagnosed with autoimmune but the neurologist couldn’t pin point what one. He ruled out lupus, MS, RA, etc. , but didn’t know for sure if it was Hashimoto. Been hypothyroid since I was 50. Two years ago the endocrinologist diagnosed Hashimoto. I’ve been suffering with this for three years. She did a scan and my thyroid was nothing but a thin slice, almost totally disintegrated. The battle is daily, not knowing how I’ll be from one day to the next. 😪

Hey, luv! Thank you for sharing! ❤ I have fibromyalgia, too. I was diagnosed with it at age 23 back in 2013. It sucks. I'm learning to just trust the LORD with my body, and I try to avoid stress at all costs. All of my tests came back normal, MRIs and everything. None of the prescription meds actually helped. The only thing I have connected my fibromyalgia symptoms to is stress. Whenever I push myself too hard physically, mentally or emotionally, I have a fibro-flare. My body is sensitive to EVERYTHING. I've been thinking of trying to see a neurologist, but unmotivated because I feel like doctors have wasted my time and money over the last decade when it comes to fibromyalgia. My guess is stress and anxiety have damaged my nerves, and that is why my body is hypersensitive and hurts all the time. Thank you so much for sharing. ❤ I normally feel alone when it comes to fibromyalgia. A lot of people do not even know what it is. I'm praying for you, sis. 🙏🏾 It's comforting to know that we can be in this together, and with the help of our Lord Jesus, we can overcome this! 🙏🏾❤️

I'm sorry your going through this. I have Primary Sjögren’s Syndrome I was diagnosed last summer.
Its been a challenge with this disease. Because it attacks the moisture glands in your body, I ended up with both Pneumonia and Bronchitis in the same month.
The last year I have been to the emergency room more times in my life. Once for Fainting and having a seizure at work, and another time for Pneumonia and a few other times too.
I've had to buy a mobility aid such as a rollator walker because sometimes when my fatigue is so bad, I have severe weakness, and I need to sit often, just so that I can save my physical energy or to help me from not passing out.
Its been a challenge living with this systemic invisible disease, its completely changed my life. I can't work currently, Flares are horrible and I constantly feel like I have the flu or been hit by a truck. My rheumatologist put me on Hydroxychloroquine and methyalprednisone but its still tough going through.

May God grant you healing. The doctors do NOT know everything, only God does and he has the final say... I know someone with fibromyalgia, and she was diagnosed in her early 20s. She's still living and is just fine. She actually has a job where she's on her feet a bunch, and she has 5 kids! You'll be fine. One thing I'd say is DO NOT worry/stress. Use heat or cold (it's your preference) on your sore muscles. Try to find a homeopathic practitioner. You can do both standard and non-standard remedies. I said a prayer for your health and for your kids ❤. Sending you love and light, as well.
