This show was my first exposure to Kendrick and I remember vividly turning to my wife and saying "that's an artist." He is up there with every master that humanity has ever produced.
I don't know if it's slept on, but it's a great opening track to the album expressing one of the themes of the album. His creativity with his voice and sampling really shines in it.

6 years later..... Today, TPAB has a substantive, fact based argument as one of, if not THE greatest album of all time. It's surpassed my personal favorites in the past year or so. (Blueprint 1 was previously the "newest addition", so it's not an easy top 5 to crack). This album belongs next to those we historically cherish, whether its "Songs in the Key of Life" or Led Zeppelin's debut album. Or Abbey Road.
