I DO THIS!! i can't distract as a pebble so i extract as him simply because i like having a high movement speed and such, but i still "distract" sometimes and attract the twisteds to me to save someone else
@@snuy2942 Distractors never existed. They're supposed to be toons with high survivability. The community just decided that running away from NPCs was too hard and made them a thing as an excuse to give high stamina and movement speed toons 'useful'.
So relatable its insane. High movement speed, high extraction speed, and the ability to see items. What more could you want? As a second point, you think I want to run/walk in a circle for floors on end straight and barely get any ichor for it? Lemme do what I want, and you do what you want.
Fr i once saw a rodger literally stand still behind a prop he can easly go around in the way of a twisted boxten was coming that way on PATROL mode and getting killed, then he complains that "why do the twisteds camp on me" Another time i saw a poppy get killed by twisted looey on panic mode, she didint even try to run, she just walked stright to the elevator like if there was nothing coming towards her, and i knew she had stamina bcuz i was distracting and she was literally just standing still behind a box near the elevator, i get in the elevator from another angle and i realise poppy was just walking passively while looey was RIGHT BEHIND her, she gets killed and then complains that "i griefed" when she DIDNT EVEN TRY TO RUN, the time was running out i had to get in, what do you spect me to do??? And then another time i was also distracting, then panic mode starts, i start going in the elevator with twisted cosmo behind me when suddenly a rudie just runs right into me, i try to lead the twisted away, but for some reason he keeps trying to, "get the twisted off me?", and then he gets killed, on FLOOR 1, worst of all i was helping my friend boxten to get his "survive with 7 people" mission thing for his mastery, we had to start again...
Oh and i almost forgot, ANOTHER TIME, i was rnd and sprout dostracting twosteds on FLOOR 3, AND THEN, A VEE decides its a GOOD IDEA, to LITERALLY WALK IN TO THE ROOM WHERE WE WERE DISTRACTING, there wasnt even a machine there... I genuinely think that half of dandys world players have absolutely no situational awareness, 0 survival instinct, and the are either blind or deaf

Tbh it’s really hard to find a public lobby that doesn’t drop like flies whenever they don’t have aa distractor for 0.5 seconds I was in a run and a scraps kept complaining bc she was getting hit and the distractor was only distracting 1 twisted. The twisteds on that flooor were Boxten and Tisha on floor 1. She would not stop complaining abt how coal (the distractor) wasnt distracting properly meanwhile she ran into five walls and started kiting the map like a distractor to get away from Boxten which didn’t work she got hit
Worst of all is that there genuinely people that legit try to justify why goob and pebble should not extract, i had argued with a lot of them, 2 of them even arguing for a whole day, let me tell a summary of what they say: "your hurting the team with your slow extraction speed" Trinkets exist for a reason... "their high stamina and movement speed are a joke for you?" Those are survivalist traits... "you can only do that when theres another distractor on the team" People can play without distractors, the game itself is more fun without them... "just use tisha or looey or a better extractor" People have their favorite characters and favorite playstyles to have fun... "their ability is literally made for distracting" Goob is support he can save people by pulling them out of danger, doesnt have anything to do with that, about Pebble, yes he can take aggro and lower his stealth, but its purpose is to make the enemies focus on you to get twisteds off of someone else, you lead the twisteds away, elude them and get back to extracting, overall fast toons in general can work as support for "baiting" while at the same time they help with the floor progression by doing machines... "people die if theres no distractors" Yes bcuz keeping the only thing that can kill you away from you and in general kinda deleting the only challenge in the game completely, is a totally intended way to play the game right??? NO, if you cant play without distractors you got some serius skill issue there, i can even deal with the twisteds by myself as shrimpo... "your being useless for the team" Ehm excuse me? Extracting machines and making progression on the floor is useless now...?? "extracting is as same as boring as distracting" Then, just dont play the game...?? Seriously all these people are like talking to a wall, and never realise that all they are saying is stupid and dumb, they are literally the definition of the "STOP HAVING FUN" meme... --- And yes i acknowledge that its not in the meta for high floors, but that also limits which toons can be used, which trinkets can be used, how you can play, the meta brainwashed everyone into thinking that everyone follows this rule, which IT ISNT... Everytime an extractor good/pebbles join a run with me they say how surprised they are when nobody is complaining about they're trinkets and I always say "Just because you use goob or pebbles or any "distractor" toon, it doesn't mean you're required to distract, its your gameplay your choice and nobody should get mad at you for how you play your toon"
Pov: you're in a main run as extracting pebble and you're the only distracter character in the run and the mains start screaming at you "Why do you need a distracter you're mains"

I remember one time i as extracting as pebble i didnt tell anyone that i was extracting and some goob said I'll be backup cuz ig they thought i was main distractor and later they said "remember when i was supposed to be backup?" Then later they died to twisted pebble and i said "maybe its a good thing im not distracting😨" then goob said "I WAS SUPPOSED TO BE BACKUP" then i replied "im not distracting goob" but when i said that in chat they already left. what annoyed me was they probably thought since im a pebble i was gonna distract like just because im a pebble doesn't mean im distracting and i don't think they looked at my trinkets either:/

i'm scared to play good in public servers cuz players FORCE to distract, like, if goob isn't distracting = world is absolutely destroyed.
PLUS they're want and will choose characters who have a 4+ speed, why not? For some reason.
