May Allah swa bless you shiekh immensely for the good you have done.. these lectures has brought me much closer to my lord Allah swa.. jaza ka Allah.. may Allah swa reward you.
السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته Where will I get the previous Videos? From the day He Has Started Book 21. I don't know in what condition we will be if Shaykh Yahya stops uploading I don't want even to imagine life without Shaykh Yahya. جزاكم الله خير الجزاء
We didn't record the first 10 or so, and we're working to restore books 31-40 though ultimately the plan is to have them from Book 1 through 40 and they'll we restart, so they'll, in sha Allah, be more and more to come.
Asalaaam alaikum. This is a silly question, but I plan to attend the upcoming retreat in October inshaAllah. What is the dress code? Not talking about shariah but generally what do people typically wear to these gatherings
The Fons Vitae publications of each book separately are likely the best in English, however I don't think that they're complete nor are they inexpensive. The Mukhtasar abridgement of the Ihya translated by Marwan Khalaf is a nice overview of the entire work. We have also utilized the GREAT BOOKS OF THE ISLAMIC WORLD SERIES versions as good notes for those attending our retreats. Ultimately the original Arabic is the best, however.
I've always wondered why, when muslim speakers are on the minbar they feel that they must speak arabic words at the english speaking audience. I dont mean the dua to open speeches but just using random arabic words without explanation... I'm sorry but for most of my life I can't help but think it's an aspect of arrogance to claim to be teaching someone and using words they don't understand; it is a "look at the words I know in arabic"... I hope this tradition of muslim orators is put to an end because it's useless and has much to do with the sickness of the scholar

Without Ghazali, I would have been an atheist now.
It is Allah SWT hidaya emitted to ghazali R.A and pass to you
Without *Allah swt. Ghazali was the means but Allah was the One who guided you.
Don’t commit shirk like that
MashaAllah this introduction is beautiful. I wasn't sure where to start with which book and this video has just made it clear

Wa alaikum asalaam. There is no dress code.
@12:39 what book is he speaking of?
Is there a particular translation the shyakh is using?
He is likely translating himself as he goes over it.

I wonder if they have a shorter, summarized version of these lessons. That would be much appreciated.
These are already heavily summarized from the source material.

Pretenders or impostors who delude people and misguide them
Fear Allah. Salafi Publications and the salafi sect for that matter are the minority of the ummah. "And do not make divisions among yourselves.
