one way to counter such claim where the other person is making unfalsifiable claims while asking you to be more open minded is to make a claim exactly opposite to them.
Like in case of karma, you can make a different claim called "anti-karma" where good deeds beget bad fortune later on. This claim also cannot be disproved and is equally unfalsifiable.
Now, it can be argued that while both claims are equally unfalsifiable, they cannot both be true together and so, the better (more rational) thing to do is to not believe either.

Beer Biceps claims that "the fact that so many books have been written on karma/spiritually and so many evolved people follow this concept means that there has to be some truth to it.".
Based on that claim alone, it makes perfect sense to believe that Superman isn't a fictional character. He's had over 2000 books written on him and millions of evolved people follow him. There's more evidence.
Superman has had a boxing match with Mohammed Ali, and has starred in credit card commercials with Jerry Seinfeld. You can't claim they're all false.

Hi! I recently found your channel through a Reddit thread and I'm absolutely in love with your content. Just one point I wanna put here is that sometimes you come out to be a bit rude when debunking the pseudoscientific propoganda, I feel like it's actually just you being sarcastic to bring out the irony but it genuinely comes out as rude to many, somewhat looking down upon people who believe in the bullshit instead of coming out as someone who is trying to teach them a fact or two, hope you find some way to somewhat improve this aspect.
For the rest, your channel is criminally underrated, you deserve way more subscribers for the amount of efforts and research you put in and the torture you go through to watch all the bullshit interviews and videos by these pseudoscience peddlers. Best wishes.

      You have committed :
      1) "Appeal to Authority" fallacy :
To establish scientific theories, the Scienctific method relies on Empirical Evidence through repeated tests and observations, not some human opinions .
Be it however popular scientist or an illterate layman , it just doesn't matter if there is no evidence.
Science has no authorities , but only "experts".
It is obvious that blind believers keep peddling ridiculous claims (that too only those specifically confirming their preformed beliefs) using the term "science" and "scientists" .
Majority of scientists might not be believing in karma. But even if every one of them blindly believes in it, that doesn't mean its gonna be true ! Extraordinary claims need extraordinary evidence.
If there is evidence , then there's no need of "belief".
      2) "Appeal to ignorance" fallacy :
If Something is unknown today , and if it is gonna be proven in future, then that doesn't mean everyone should jump into believing any kind of bs.
Would you now jump into believing that there is a creator and is actually a cruel devil ? Would you believe that this devil creator created us for selfish motives and somehow benefits from our suffering ?
Cause hey ! it might be unknown today but it might be proven in future ! So would you now believe in this ?
If something is unknown or unproven , a rational person would say "i dont know, ". Thats it !
I know that the minds deeply immersed in bs could not be changed with these lengthy replies. But atleast someone, who is truly open to question their culturally conditioned beliefs, could be benefitted.

I dont know who he is , so I cant opine .
But , based on previous encounters with theists, I can just "guess" where you are trying to get with such question.
Probably he must be someone who has "new realistic interpretations" about karma , reincarnation etc., which are totally different from popular and traditional superstitions .
Now probably you will ask me to go through his works and get "liberated" with his new interpretations about the usual superstitions, which probably seemed rational to you .
Even M. Gandhi played such tactics when it comes to gita like for eg. He says that the War mentioned in mahabharatha was just "metaphorical war" which ofcourse is not the popular belief among public.
Even christians and muslims play such tactics ! When I criticize their popular beliefs , even they suddenly ask me to go through some random person's new rational interpretations which are totally different from popular interpretations among public ! They claim the previous beliefs as "misconceptions" and call the verses as "metaphors" or "allegorical". This is just being dishonest . Why dont they admit that their ancestors could go wrong just like today's humans ? It is often people like these who claim "scientific miracles" in their texts .
There will be several such newly made up interpretations for which even lifetime wouldn't suffice to go through .
Why should it be me who has to go through all of them ?
I would only care about the popular superstitions and the interpretations of the particular person with whom im debating !

This is interesting. I have had some arguments (fights?) with my parents on things like karma, respecting elders etc. I have come to the conclusion that such claims came into existence in order to bring orderliness and some kind of fear of a higher authority in society so that it adheres to some minimal moral framework and reduces chaos. Unfalsifiable claims perhaps help in moral policing. Of course this is my hypothesis and I don't really argue against such claims unless they are patently ridiculous and against my personal morality.

I have my opinion about law of karma:
Yes what you explained is logical. We cannot predict the time frame of outcomes.
But here is the thought process.
If you do a good karma or good deeds (good deeds is a relative term and good deed should be such that it should perceived as good work for majority atleast) there are no definitive consequences but there are no harm in doing those things.
But our mind had been tuned in such a way that we require certain outcomes to start any work. For example we practice running continoulsy in order to win a marathon but results could go either way (win or loose). We will try to improve until the goal or target is reached. Similarly we don't know the outcome of our future or next life. We can do good deeds and hope something good will happen to us one day if not we have nothing to loose.

Isn't it just like being a normal law abiding citizen? You do your thing without harming others and do your hardwork and eventually it pays off. And then your life ends. Period. There's obviously more chances of being successful in life if you do things right eg, studying well, hardwork, no crime etc. Chance (%). Or you can be a politician with all the "Karmic" misdeeds and still be successful.

When I find some arrogant stubborn unscientific person claiming anything absurd, I ask myself whether it is necessary to prove him (/er) wrong because even if I prove him (/er) wrong s/he won't accept it.

Many people consider science as an anti-social force that works against their beliefs but the truth is science doesn't cares about these beliefs its main goal is to explain the workings of the world and and this very universe or any possible worlds that could exist based on logical and mathematical analysis. People are more driven towards superstition or false beliefs as opposed to science because their self entitlement gets shattered when being confronted with unpleasant or pleasant truths. I mean a magical explaination to phenomenon likely involves less brain usage then an explanation which requires critical thinking which is why there are so many sheeps that follow a certain Bluffmaster

Intangible dragon vs no dragon is similar to spotting a rope in the dark and suspecting that it could be a snake. It would not be significant to most people, but to someone mortally afraid of snakes, the perception would cause a real, tangible physical reaction. The contentious thing is the knower; does knowledge change as the knower changes? Some schools of philosophy do and others don't.

Nice video, regarding the many logical fallacies used by religious people, I fully agree with you. It is very good that you are addressing this. The dragon example is great. At the point where you explain karma, your explanation has several flaws.
If we consider science to be the ultimate arbiter of knowledge, then your argument is valid. But if we accept that there is another level by which we can attain knowledge, then we must accept that your explanation is inadequate. If the owner of the dragon is unable to convey the perception of the dragon to another human, then we must reject the existence of the dragon, at the very least the existence of the dragon becomes irrelevant to us. But what if there is a method by which the dragon can be spotted?
If I tell you that there is some deep essential self that I can show you, but you have to undergo some preparation to perceive it, it is not a logical fallacy if you refuse to undergo the preparation. You can only say that you don't believe or trust it. However, you cannot condemn it or label it a delusion. Such a condemnation is a logical fallacy, in fact.

I do think logic in general and logical fallacy specifically should be taught in high school - most kids will get it and if taught well - will even enjoy it.
Your argument about dragon is valid for physical things that are supposed to have some sort of observable properties. We have real experiences that are personal in nature and cannot be argued similarly. Let me make a statement - “I dreamt of a dragon yesterday “. You can believe it or not - I have no way to share anything even if the statement is true or false. This is one of the reason I do not disagree when people make certain type of arguments about personal experience- even if those arguments are invalid for something under purview of scientific method. I may say ice cream gives me irresistible urge - no way to verify. Meditation and Yoga (not just Asana) often gives experience that is not easy to communicate unless you experience yourself. You can measure some of the impact though as verifiable change - like stress hormone level, blood pressure change, heart rate change etc.

Pranav I should have seen your videos 4 years back. I met so many people talk about Karma. I used get angry with their logic and idiotic reasoning . 1. They have this classic example of twins born at the same time , one is great and other suffering . Next they ask why is it so ? Naturally I can not answer . They gloat and say Karma. Well it is evident when you have no answer or something to prove they say Karma with great impunity little realising even they have no proof.
I started coming up with similar idiotic answers . I start using some wielded scientific terms with DNA, psychology etc . Now they get perturbed and start ask me to prove this scientific reason and I get back saying prove Karma
When there is no answer they come with God, Karma and fate .
When a scientist or a rational person can not answer, they accept the same with honesty . That does not mean they can accept BS. Again they talk of scriptures, religion and books . I find it difficult to accept their reasoning
    Thank you Pranav

Sadly the answer to the question "what's the difference between your claim being true and it being false?" Would be another unfalsified claim. Eg:
Me : What's the difference between Karma existing and Karna not existing?
Them : The difference is that if Karma didn't exist, the world would be an unfair place.
Me : but it's already unfair to begin with. Doesn't that disprove your claim?
Them : No, what I mean is that if Karma didn't exist the world would be an even more unfair place than it is right now.
There is no way to prove that wrong. (Or right)

World is still fair if u consider things as a whole..
Every day u live , u must have killed many bacteria, plants, animals via animal products ,work of a fellow human being etc.. so things should be balanced in that way.
The only way to act properly is to recognize that our own life is being at the expense of someone, so knowing this share love and compassion whenever u can.
