I ran both cat and new Holland skid steers but I fell in love with a Takeuchi! It to me was more powerful and for sure more responsive that the others. Definitely it was faster speedwise . Be a machine to look into yourself before you totally commit to buying a loader.

I'd look into a kabota svl95. Incredible machines, hydraulics feel great and they are really easy to work on. Cabs are pretty spacious for a skid steer. I like cats but they are a real pain to work on if anything happens. The high flow on the kabota is really nice and powerful as well

  • @TV46Sanford

Take it from a guy who used to work at the plant where the CAT skid steers where built, I say go with CAT all day. They put them through the paces before they send them out to the customers and make sure that there is not going to be a defect if they can help it. There performance is even better. If I were you, I would wait just a little bit longer because CAT is coming out with an even bigger machine in the near future bigger than the 299D.

    Just sayin'
Also... On initial take off. It sounded like a fresh motor. That is a nice house. (Your buddy just complimented the jake BRAKING. It is not a jake shifter and that is the reason why toggle switches ended up long.
