Good tip about cutting back half of the black eyed Susan’s to prolong the bloom time. Thanks!

I'm thinking about the bird's nest. I remember last winter, there was no green, just blah grays and browns. So I bought 2 abroviatae, 4 cypress, and 4 mugo pines on a huge SALE. I love the nepta. It keeps mosquitoes away. Great landscape. Michelle.

Love your format! Makes for great screen shots. When I get to the nursery to purchase items it is easy to reference all your good ideas. Yesterday I purchased 3 slow mound mugo pine trees from your suggestions. Thanks

While at a nursery I found a Bird's Nest Spruce and was soooooo excited. It was small but I thought it would be perfect for my son's front yard garden. Then I looked at the price. My goodness. It was $85.00.

Yep guilty I have the black edging. But my yard is way too big to cut that nice edge on all the flower beds. Maybe this winter you cld do a video on all the different kinds of edging that there is out there?
