Congrats again on your 1st clutch. And I totally understand all your feelings about handling and cutting eggs. I felt the same way last year with my 1st ever clutch. Those were cornsnakes, and the eggs are so tiny, I didn't want to cut the snake or cut the eggs too early, even though I saw a lot of egg cutting videos as well.
Congratulations on the first clutch. Pretty cool to start with all visual pieds. I'd say by the last two eggs you had the cutting just about perfect. Looking forward to an update.
Congrats on your first clutch bro! And pieds, too! I'm definitely not an expert in genetics, but I did see some variations in those eggs. Pretty sure I saw some with OD and some with leopard and some with enchi in different combinations. I believe enchi usually has the wider eye stripes than normals and can bring in a little brighter coloration and of course OD has a more orange tone. It'll be easier to see what's going on once they come out of the egg and have their first shed. Can't wait to see the update! 🤘🏻❤️🔥
Congrats, brother! Wish you the best on getting them to eat soon after. I'm right there with on being new to the breeding part. It's difficult already getting them to eat. Hope you don't have what happened to me today... thermostat malfunctioned and caused my hatchling and subadult rack to over heat, thus losing 2 subadults (a cinny hypo female and a normal het clown male) and 2 hatchlings from the first clutch. Check your stuff and animals daily and best of luck.
You’re doing everything correct you’re second-guessing yourself way too much if one pips there ready. What I do is when one pips. I’ll go ahead and cut all of them. Leave them in their egg and place them back in the incubator and let them come out on their own once they absorb all the yolk. Your doing great brother. Congratulations 🎉 on the clutch
I appreciate it , 4 are out of the egg and absorbed the yolk , already got beat up a little on Facebook saying I cut wrong and cut too big . Can’t make everyone happy 😃
@@Ben_CincySnakes i have had 6 ball pythons in an enclosure together for 17 years. Finally one got pregnant. So at first, i was letting the mother incubate for the first 3 weeks. Then she left the eggs . So i put them in an incubator. I was told my snakes would never mate in an enclosure together
Awwwww I bet you're so proud!
So cool to see this, Ben!! Congratulations man, you’ve grown into quite the breeder!!!
I appreciate it !
