I was a roadie for a Stellenbosch band called Slap n Tickle back in the 80’s with Nico Burger on a Yamaha guitar and John Rautenbach on fretless Fender bass, Gary on drums and Miles on vocals. Played at De Akker on Friday and Saturday nights. This was one of their BEST songs. What memories!!!

Fantastic performance! Love the whole thing, but the guitar solo blows my mind. I think it’s one of the best I’ve ever heard. Hats off to Peter Northcote. Wondering if he improvised it on the spot or worked it out ahead of time?
