When LVG says, "What do you mean?", he was genuinely confused. And the media realized (confirmed by their awkward laughter) that they were just stirring shit.

The reason he is so angry is they keep twisting his words into things he didn't say. The 20 goal a season striker thing for example, was him answering a reporter who had pointed out that at the moment no striker at United was on for 20 goals, which is true, but when Louis acknowledged that the papers reported that he claimed United didn't have strikers capable of 20 goals per season, which he didn't say. Then you have the pundits coming out "how can he say that when Rooney and RVP in past seasons yada yada yada yada..." he DIDN'T FUCKING SAY THAT. There was also the thing about United being the "best team in the league", they misrepresented that too, some reporter had pointed out at the time that United had the best string of results over a certain period, and had the best results in the league over that period, he agreed with it because it was factual but then was quoted as saying "United are the best team in the league" over all.
