Did you catch their 19th anniversary live? There's a replay with subs on the official channel if you're interested and you can watch it on your own if not a reaction. I thought it was fun and sweet seeing all 9 of them and on the same day his album came out, and he was showing it off

Only other thing he's released was a bts of the photoshoot. He visited some RUclips channels and had some adorable interviews too.
This honestly might be my favorite mini album of his; all of the songs are just upbeat or "loud" enough to be an easy listen. Kinda amazed that we finally got a title track with this vibe. Rock Yesung has always been my favorite, so I am definitely one of the ELF guilty of having opposite taste from his. I think it's a personality thing in part, because I'm not the introspective "F" who sips coffee and contemplates to quiet music type... I fully related to Eunhyuk getting antsy as an INTJ when Yesung drug him along to a tea shop. I rarely "chill" quietly with music; either I'm bopping along while I work or am actively engaged in a full jam session singing along. I've found I do enjoy his quieter things when I'm in the right mood, but I'm just not there that often. 😂 Similar, but oposite, problem with several Suju title tracks that are amazing in concert, but that I only seek out when I'm super hype. 😅 I've really enjoyed his recent output, but my favorites have been in the b-sides, and this is the first album I've LOVED all of the songs on first listen. Very happy, spoiled, and grateful ELF. 💙
When I first heard him say he chose this song for ELF even though it wasn't his favorite, it made me sad that he doesn't love it. It's EXACTLY what I want as a title track! Him belting out some lyrics with that amazing voice of his. On his last few albums, my favorite track was not the title track! For instance SLIDE AWAY was my favorite... I love ALL the songs on "It's Complicated" - I'll be curious what you think he would have picked. I just wish SM would promote him more. His songs are fantastic. Thanks for your happy fawning. :) [I looked at stream totals on Spotify for his last few albums and his title tracks all have way more streams... so now I'm perplexed...]

Here goes....This is historic for me. I chose to have a clean slate in my head free of any musician to be fair.This is my FIRST ever Korean artist that I've watched, listened to EVER. So many thoughts after watching this MV & bts...First, how is he 40? He looks like a baby. I see the appeal. He has a great voice- breathy, yet weighty and strong. Quite unique. Is he shy, soft spoken, moody at the same time? At14:25-50 when he said he hoped his fans (had to google ELF) likes the song before he said he didn't quite like it, he was looking down, a bit pouty. That was considerate of him. I like that he's honest (means he's confident & able to assert himself) about his preference of quiet songs .He's personable, right? that small act of handing the towel...
Context of why this is a first.
I do not like watching shows that are dubbed, ANY but especially Korean. Hearing the language was irritating to my ear that I completely blocked out listening to anything Korean. It stemmed from one of my best friends who LOVED K-DRAMA, obsessed with it would constantly TV or laptop watch them to unwind with speakers ON( she has a hearing thing , can't use headset or earphone). So I'd hear it around the house all the time.
Until today, I never got the urge to watch or listen to anything K. Surprisingly, I got thru to this Yesung music like any other artist I listen to. So, I guess .I'm good with music for now.... We''ll see.

😮 no waaay! I love that you gave Yesung a chance! I love you so much for that ️. Okay, you are so spot on with so much about Yesung. I KNOW! He's 40 but he absolutely does not look it. You know what, I'm gonna try not to get my essay out, but Yesung had a tricky start in the industry and I honestly think it took its toll on his personality. He kind of changes his energy depending on who he is with. He does seem shy, calm, quiet, but when you see him with his members (Super Junior - KPOP Idol Group) he is funny and loud and such a great brother to them. He is known to be pouty and moody but never in a big-headed way, he's just passionate, knowledgeable and opinionated. He had quite the temper on him when he was younger hehe.
Yes, ELF (ever-lasting friends) are the fans of Super Junior and Yesung's fandom is called Clouds.
Personable doesn't even cut it. Yesung is a walking-talking green flag. He's the best friend you'd want, the protective brother, your partner in crime, an attentive boyfriend. Fur-dad. He is utterly dreamy! Oh, and is incredible to his parents.
My suggestion for you is a bit extreme in the 'quiet' sense. It's actually a lullaby that Yesung wrote whilst he was enlisted in the army. It is my most favorite song of his because he is not even doing anything showy in it whatsoever, but it touched my heart. It's called 'My Dear'. Please check out a lyric video because the lyrics are so nice. That song has got me through some of my worst panic attacks.

Yesung saying half of his fans left but then saying "I still feel loved by those who stayed" , my thought , this man has a good heart. No bitterness in his voice. It's like I felt what he was feeling while writing the song. What do I do now? I'm thinking I'll solely focus on him.. Does he have a YT channel? Should I listen to his music oldest to newest? I don' t want to be put off by a 'wrong song' (ie, if there is one) this early in getting to know him.his music. HELP! Love you H, thanks !

I think that time in the military is always difficult for idols because life, career and popularity changes afterwards. Korean life is...umm..very different to PH and what I'm used to. And absolutely a heart of gold, he doesn't hold a grudge.

In terms of songs, perhaps starting from the beginning is a good idea, because you can see his growth. In the early days the creatives (imo) didn't know what to do with his voice. So there were quite a lot of typical, sad, divorce ballads. I mean he sings them amazingly and they are some of his most famous songs. But I really love where he is these past 2-3 yrs. He has so much more creative ownership over his songs, artwork etc. And I truly love it.

And why did I burst into tears in “Monologue?” I don’t even know what it’s about. I think this early , I agree with Yesung that I prefer his “quiet” songs. Wow.♥️
