  • No pre meditated shots just clear rules that you train for ball to body and shot outcomes. This is very good and will improve your serve return greatly.
When you understand this you will realize how the PSA players get such great outcomes.

What an amazing way to explain triggers for return of serve, using cricket as an example. Will be passing this info to our squash team tonight.

I use many sports as examples in my videos, we can learn so much from other sports in how they move and play. Thanks for the feedback.

It works amazingly well once you train each shot for body position. Enjoy

The training is the answer, it is one thing to understand it but you must develop a consistent shot outcome for each position.

Super interesting. Wouldn't your opponent get to know this though? Like that you're going to play the same shots off of the same serve?

Possibly but the quality will be very high and they do not try leave the ball open in the middle so it takes them a second to realize the need to change their movement from across to short. You can always use the cross deep variation to keep them guessing.

Interesting...arent trigger the preparatory movement prior to the ball reaching you.e.g batsman's shuffle across stumps or taking a step in towards sidewall and then backing away to create required space prior to return in squash..this video was more about reflex training..doing a movement without hesitation

It is about identifying early where the ball is in relation to your body and playing quality shots with confidence taking away indecision.
