The National Football League Draft, which is officially called the NFL Player Selection Meeting, is an annual event in which the National Football League (NFL) teams select eligible college football players. It serves as the league's most common source of player recruitment. The basic design of the draft is that each team is given a position in the drafting order in reverse order relative to its record in the previous year, the last place team gets positioned first.
The 2013 NFL Draft is the 78th annual meeting of National Football League (NFL) franchises to select newly eligible football players. The draft, which is officially called the "NFL Player Selection Meeting," will be held at Radio City Music Hall in New York City from April 25--27.

That's true
driest draft in ages.....
Lane Johnson was the best pick out of the 4
Wow. To move down 9 spots from #3, Oakland only got a 2nd Rd pick and swapped to 12? I guess that shows you how weak the talent was that year.
Who's here after Chiefs released Eric Fisher?
Now to the colts
i like how they print the players last name on jerseys now.
i puked while watching this
Nick Price lol
This was a terrible draft, only Ansah and DeAndre Hopkins are playing up go their potential
+Official MikeLee Lane Johnson is as well, dude got a 5 year deal.

Hell yeah shawty me too
+lilmoe102 2016 draft is making me excited as a chargers fan.
+Samuel Sanchez chargers had a great draft, I really hope things start looking there way, I hate the Chiefs and raiders -Broncos fan
"This is all about getting to tom brady" LMAOOOO
the headline was which tackle the chiefs were gonna select. That sums up how boring this draft was
I really wish that Miami got Lane we could’ve been in the AFC championship in 2016
The Dolphins moved up to snag Dion Jordan. Ouch.
Keith David's voice is pretty epic.
All the players they showed in the opening theme went no where
Ziggy Ansah is the best of the 5, Lane Johnson is pretty good too, but the rest are looking like busts.
+Justin Hu Sheldon Richardson has been pretty good as well and the funny part is everybody was chewing the Jets for that pick calling it a reach! lol
+CKL EVERYTHING jets also got Leonard Williams, if Wilkerson stays, they got the best dline in nfl
d-hop
Fisher has done well
im sooo excited about the 2014 draft!!!
Leonardo Morales pretty stacked
I'm just here for Lane Johnson, best TACKLE in the NFL
Eagles at 4th pick
Chiefs at 1st pick
2 years later both playoff teams
Seems legit
+Shark “Sharkcraft555” Craft555 not anymore, its funny how many franchises have flipped this season (Raiders,Vikings,Chiefs,Lions,Seahawks,Eagles,Cowboys,Chargers,Panthers,Colts,Jets,Falcons,......holy shit just realized that's almost half of the league)
February 2018: Eagles win Super Bowl
2 years later Chiefs win Super Bowl
Seems legit
@@darealconman February 2023: They play each other in the superbowl
Seems legit
Dion Jordan went to the wrong team, definitely looking like a bust so far
Most don't believe me when i say lane Johnson was my qb in jr college and wasn't bad.Kilgore rangers was our start.
Kind of funny how Mooch described Dion Jordan as being totally committed to football and yet the Sun Sentinal just released an article titled "Hyde5: Dolphins disappointed in Dion Jordan's commitment."
This hurts to watch as a Dolphins fan, i really wanted Lane Johnson at #3 when i watched that draft, they took a freak athlete who has no motor and wasnt mentally ready :(
Guys shut up !stop saying bad words and Luke Jockel got injured.
I was pissed off in that draft, when Miami traded up I was hoping they would take Lane Johnson then I realized they are the Dolphins lol
Who's still watching in 2022!?
Finally someone said I'm proud of MYSELF. none of this thanking god stuff. god doesn't get your ass up at 5AM to workout, YOU do.
I cant for this years draft gonna be exciting
Eagles all day=Lane johnson
Only Eric Fisher, Lane Johnson, and DeAndre Hopkins were hits in the first round
who the fuck is eric fisher
When dion Jordan was on the phone he looked kind of disappointed. Think he wanted to go to his old ball coach chip Kelly?
I will watch nfl online on ScreenVariety . I think it's the best nfl option
It's been years since my Chiefs had the first overall pick.
2-14
DeAndre Hopkins Anshan and Darius slay
Jim Brown
Ansah johnson fisher and jockel are all good
Deion says to Fisher that Fisher said at the senior bowl he'd be the number 1 pick and Fisher starts his reply with "that was my goal". I've never understood that with some players. Why would any player care which pick they were selected? Like I get caring which round as you're more likely to get a chance to start when selected in an earlier round. But I don't get why they care which specific pick they're taken. I'd be most concerned of it being a team that fits my strengths. Not to mention if you're drafted later there's less pressure on your success. Jamarcus Russell, Ryan Leaf, Tim Couch, Charles Rogers etc get labeled all time busts not just cuz of how awful they were but partially cuz of where they were drafted but any late first round pick with same results won't be looked at as badly. I just think it's a win/win to be drafted late first round. If you suck you're not the forever first thought of when people look at failure in the NFL and if you have success you can have that "they doubted me and I proved them wrong" attitude. Take Moss for example. He went late first round at 21st pick in 1998, despite being thought of as a high first round pick , because of character concerns. He had a great career (great is understatement. Lol) and is remembered as a player people were wrong about. (although it was character not ability in question) Yet if he would've been a bust because character ended up being a real concern, he still wouldn't be thought of with the all time great busts. Not even for his position. Your name won't be as synonymous with failure. Monetary gain is really the only benefit I see in wanting to be the first pick. Which is fine get you're money. Lol. But if you want more I'd hope for the right situation. Lol
JJ solon The higher you go the more you make. Also it's just ego. As far as "better being drafted later to go to a good team" is flawed as well. Every year new teams rise up and good teams fall. Also with trades you can still go to bad teams later on. Also you have a chance to be a savior. If you go high and are part of turning a team around, you'll be looked at even better.
Yeah I mentioned the money thing. I said outside of money I don't see a reason to care. Getting drafted late in the first or early 2nd there is less pressure. Not that a player should be scared of that. I just mean I wouldn't care how high a number I'd go as long as everything else fit. And I'm still making good money. And if I prove to be good I know I can make that bigger money anyway. And in response to the team's turn around part that's true. But it doesn't happen much to those teams that went like 2-14 to 4-12. Usually those are the same bad teams. Jacksonville, Tennesee, Oakland, etc. Stl for a 5 year period before Fisher was there (now it's constant 7-9 lol) those teams take a while. Maybe around the late top 10 is good as you still get good money. But if I know I'm projected top 5 I'd probably be looking at which team fits me best and can give me the best coaching not hoping I go 2nd instead of 3rd. That's basically what I'm saying.
JJ solon BTW remember top of 2nd round teams are the same bad teams as the top of R1. In one way going in R2 is better because you can hit FA a year early, if you're good.
Yeah the early 2nd part was in reference to less pressure.
JJ solon That really shouldn't matter though.
This is probably one of the worst draft classes in NFL History
Othe than Lane Johnson they were all busts for where they were drafted.
lol Geno Smith in the intro...
