- Fantasia Barrino chatted with “Extra’s” Terri Seymour as she was honored at Variety’s Power of Women in Los Angeles. It was a full-circle moment 20 years after Terri covered Fantasia when she won “American Idol” way back in 2004! She got emotional speaking about working with Oprah Winfrey on the new “The Color Purple” movie and revealed why she was initially reluctant to step back into the role she played on Broadway.
