That’s funny. Agreed. However, you should see CEO Eric Smidt’s 10 acre crib in Beverly Hills. I watched this place get built for years. Doubt any Harbor Freight tools were for that
Update: They're still sunk! On a more serious note, due to the shallow depth of the water, they can be salvaged quite easily. All of this would have been completely avoided by simply securing the mooring lines and using sufficient mooring lines for the expected, forecast conditions!
Wow no wonder water makes electricity. It’s a powerful force. Glad the bridge was built well enough to take it although I’m sure there’s extensive damage!!
This video really shows the power of water in a very graphic sense. Be careful out there. It would be nice to know the final results. Did the bridge hold?
They dont realise they in serious danger. I once watched something like this happen, the boat turned the bridge into a dam and the water rose so quickly people had to run for their lives.
Amazing how powerful the water is. Also it is a very well built bridge.
Agreed. A VERY well constructed bridge!

I agree, the bridge was well built
Vietnam ???
Someone's entire mining operation just got completely destroyed.😢
how sad a lot of people out of a job and a business gone

Bridge NOT made in China.
This bridge is in VietNam.
That is one stout bridge. Kudos to the engineers and builders that put it together.
@@RiversLife1987 That's a strong bridge, but another bridge in Vietnam collapsed during typhoon Yagi. Last I read 10 people are still missing.
😄👏🏽
I think the people commenting are missing the point 😂🤣😃😆😅😄
That's a great bridge!
I'm impressed! A Chinese bridge that's NOT tofu-dreg!
Not a chinese brisge

Monsoon, flood, ZERO excuses for NOT checking riggings !!!!

But it was Friday night😮
Looks like a dredge to me, incredibly strong bridge!
VERY well-made bridge!
This is so sad! How many jobs was that? How many people relied on that business? I hope they can recover.
Looks like at least $100 in scrap metal there.
It looked like scrapmetal before the collision
Wow what a great video GRAND MERCI
A Minneapolis bridge would have collapsed as the barge approached
As you make stupid comments before putting brain in action. Or is there no brain in there?
@@JustMe-md2gp either your from Minneapolis, or you just really like bridges..probably both
Rip the man on the barge 🙏
I was beginning to think that I was the only one who saw the person in the barge. I thought maybe it wasn't a person....
At 2:30 you can see him in the water trying to hold onto the barge🙊😬
This looks like it's going to be expensive.
Yep, real expensive really quick.
WOW Thats crazy. Please give an update video.
Everything was submerged in the river, and the flood is still very strong now.

Where was this? As sturdy as the bridge appears I'm sure that inspectors will still be checking for excess stress.
Bad news: Our bridge is closed.
Good news: We finished the new dam in record time.
That's one tough ass bridge😊
Damn!
Hire the people who built that bridge 😮

It's amazing what you'll find at the bottom of a river. Particularly downstream of a bridge.

How many people saw the Chrome key guy on the left-hand side?
You can't beat nature!
VietNam ?
Yes!
It was God's will.
So all good... ☆
That's one hell-for-stout bridge.
Anyone know if the man on the barge survived?
A testament to the unrelenting power of water. So glad the barges were abandoned.
THAT is how you build a bridge!
Kudos to the engineers and workers responsible for building the bridge, that's a lot of stress to endure.
Ugly barges, good bridge. The civil engineers used a safety factor of 3.1 barges - good job guys!
It's an insurance scam.

did the guy crossing the fence go and push that large chunk that got stuck in the front?

Yes, China has had four (4) partial or full bridge collapses in 2024.
where did you get the helmets?
Looks like a better bridge that's ever built in this country. Leastwise the federal specs and the army corps of engineers hahaha
I would not say that other bridges, even destroyed ones, were no worse, it was just a matter of chance and the difference in the weight of the vessel
If Christine's twin were a bridge.

Not horrifying at all, but entertaining...
Wild.
Was that a Gold dredge set up? Whatever it was, somebody just lost their livelihood!
I don't know the purpose of these barges, they drifted down from upstream.
They cut it loose on purpose because it was condemned and they couldn’t put it in the recycling bin.
Give respect to the green roof building to pull over to the bank and let the machinery go first
Needed those Hong Alert Sirens that you hear in tsunamis and earthquakes.
Never underestimate the power of water.

Multiple barges not secured sufficiently to withstand the power of that flooding river. Now it’s carnage and possibly a damaged bridge as well?
