    Candy Roaster Squash 'Pumpki' Pie
    1 pie crust
    15 oz N. Ga. Candy Roaster Squash, pureed
    1/2 c sugar
    2 eggs
    2 T all purpose flour
    1/2 c evaporated milk
    1 t vanilla
    3 T melted butter
    1/2-1 t ground cinnamon
    1/2 t ground ginger
    1/4 t ground nutmeg
    1/4 t salt
    1/8 t allspice
    Stir all ingredients together, then beat @ a medium speed with an electric mixer until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Pour the filling into the pie crust (blind baked or unbaked). Bake @ 375° F for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350° F for thirty more minutes or until pie is done. Some directions say until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean, and other directions say until the edge of the pie is set and the center is slightly jiggly still. My pie was done in the center after reducing the temperature and baking the final thirty minutes.
