You can always go higher but never lower than the instrument is designed for. That is just how sound waves work

That is for restricted instruments though. As long as you have the chops for it, you can keep delving lower and lower into pedal notes on brass

I have also found different ways of setting and moving my embouchure to make high notes. Not as high as him but trumpet high
