I honestly cannot answer that as I don’t have that phone and I can’t test it. Check the weight of the phone and find gimbal which can handle that kind of payload

You are very welcome. Check the height of your action camera and the size of this clamp…. 55mm is the smallest… I think it should be fine. But it is only to be used mostly for a tracking it’s not really holding to do action sports with it…. Keep that in mind. I would just have it on a table or maybe slowly walk with it but definitely no running and stuff like that
Impressive gimbal and great video as always! You always review the coolest stuff earlier than everyone... how do you do it? I agree btw, we now need a mirrorless version of this! The TELESIN can hold bigger cameras, but it can only track left and right, not up and down. I guess it's only matter of time though and someone is gonna come up with a full sized AI gumbal. My only worry is that many camera operator may soon become redundant though?
Thank you for your support… I only meant bigger payload for large phones with all accessories. Big gimbals like Moza Air2 I reviewed can do pretty much all that already. I just attached a phone on top of the gimbal and you can do tracking as well…
Thank you for another great video. I have one question, if the AI sensor on the gimbal works on its own, I am wondering would it be possible to mount the mobile the other way around with the rear camera in line with the gimbals AI senor, would it still work, Just asking as I would like to use it with the rear camera as its a better camera than the front one and use the gimbals AI sensor for when my person moves as I will be behind the canon. I use the Flimic Pro app which gives me a 25fps and 1/50 shutter as a second camera to match my Canon M6 markii

Ahoj Zdenka, Thank you so much for your latest video & keeping us up to date with any new smartphone tech. Just like you I was quite euphoric at the start of your video, but realism soon took over.I think that Hohem missed a trick by cramming too many functions into too few buttons. They should have included the trigger like most other gimbals. Having to use 2 hands isn't a great idea either. I use a Galaxy S20 (Android) which, once again loses out on the functions in this app. I use Filmic Pro, so if Filmic Pro can get the extra frame rates on Android, I don't see why they can't (that goes for my DJI Osmo gimbals too). I have the Moment case & use Moment lens, so the quite generous weight limit is still not enough. I do still think that it is a great step forward & I praise Hohem for their progressive design. Maybe their next version will be perfect? Thank you once again from a big fan of your channel.
You are very welcome…. Well this gimbal will actually work with Filmic pro…. With any app unlike other gimbals. Just the payload is so low…, that is a problem. I will use this with Protake app for sure. What blew me away is the stabilization. I didn’t see the test until I was editing the video. Way, way more stable than DJI. Also if you want to use only one hand, remote is the answer. I attached the wrist strap to it so I don’t loose it…. It is tiny… 😂

AI Tracking? Why AI? Whats all called AI nowadays? Is my class A/B amplifier "AI controlling" the good class A and bad class B amplification depending on volume? If having a circuit with a small program/software on it means AI.... well, even my first PDAs in the late 90s were already "AI" In fact its nothing more than what DJI calls "Active Track", isnt it like that?

If we would talk about a Lidar Sensor or how its called, and it would support the autofocus a lot, but it seems its only for tracking and also DJIs tracking is pretty nice, i dont see any major advantage (except for the option to go for face only or body/enviroment which would be awesome on the DJI app)

Awesome review. So I bought the hohem V2 for the samsung Ultra S22. The Payload is ok but the the size of the phone is big. the phone got stuck when it turns from vertical to horizontal or vice versa. Sad! Do you know which gimbal can use for Ultra s22 ? Thank you.

I really lime this gimbal you feature. I want to use an external good quality microphone with noise reduction, one ultra wide lens, one filter for very sunny bright days. I am havi g trouble finding high quality ultrawide lense for android phones, most of them are designed for iphones. Please help me, again I am new to this.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts…. However after many years of using android I’m very happy that I switched to iPhone as there are no compatibility issues, no apps freezing and closing, No gimbal compatibility issues as well

Hey, How does the Hohem iSteady v2 compare to the Monza Mini MX? I know the Monza is cheaper but i'm more tempted by the iSteady, its mainly for family videos, travel and instagram etc? I have a Samsung S21 Ultra... any advice would be amazing. Love your videos! Thanks
There is a design flaw for this gimbal. The tracking camera should have been able to rotate to the front when shooting using phone. With gopro, the tracking camera points to the front but not when using phone. If you reverse the phone for primary camera, the clamps block the screen & you are unable to press screen settings.
The hand gestures for AI tracking is terrible, unless you are at a close distance and in full bright light. It takes my gimbal quite a few attempts at getting it to recognise any gestures, making it very frustrating to use!
Zdenka, Please do the follow-up video that you mentioned doing. It's hard to find good videos on the V2. Also, could you please include using this iSteady V2 with Filmic Pro? Also, thanks so much for all the good information!
The way you would be using there’s a gimbal with FilmicPro is exactly if you would be using only smart one with the gimbal. The buttons are not integrated with that app

Oh no you too having trouble with the remote… my husband had to put it to branch vide… then with knife pushed the doors to slide to the side… it went easily after that. If you do that by hand it won’t go… I emailed Hohem that the doors need to be changed… it is crazy
Yes I agree with you Zdenka, Hohem iSteady V3 should have. Higher payload capacity, Bright LED light and WIRELESS CHARGING features. What do you think? 🤔
I have a hohem XE for Samsung ultra s23 and in general it works the motor works just as well as the gimbal for this phone but for this gimbal a bit too heavy for the phone but I'm still admiring that the gimbal can handle it the only downside is that the case etui needs to be removed because it stuck only minus

No it is only for front camera. For rear you need to use tracking feature in the app like other gimbals

If we would talk about a Lidar Sensor or how its called, and it would support the autofocus a lot, but it seems its only for tracking and also DJIs tracking is pretty nice, i dont see any major advantage (except for the option to go for face only or body/enviroment which would be awesome on the DJI app)

Awesome review. So I bought the hohem V2 for the samsung Ultra S22. The Payload is ok but the the size of the phone is big. the phone got stuck when it turns from vertical to horizontal or vice versa. Sad! Do you know which gimbal can use for Ultra s22 ? Thank you.
If you are using such a happy phone than you need something like DJI om4 or Zhiyun smooth 5 , Moza mini mx2 …. A bit stronger gimbals

No gimbal will be great with android… there is always limitation…. Use any gimbal but film in filmic pro

I really lime this gimbal you feature. I want to use an external good quality microphone with noise reduction, one ultra wide lens, one filter for very sunny bright days. I am havi g trouble finding high quality ultrawide lense for android phones, most of them are designed for iphones. Please help me, again I am new to this.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts…. However after many years of using android I’m very happy that I switched to iPhone as there are no compatibility issues, no apps freezing and closing, No gimbal compatibility issues as well

Personally, I am very happy to have left a long time ago a company totally overpriced, an IT environment totally closed, an iTunes system that wrecked my music files, and the fact you have to throw away the phone after 3 years because he starts to be useless. Hey, How does the Hohem iSteady v2 compare to the Monza Mini MX? I know the Monza is cheaper but i'm more tempted by the iSteady, its mainly for family videos, travel and instagram etc? I have a Samsung S21 Ultra... any advice would be amazing. Love your videos!

If you don’t need to film in manual mode, all automatic then Hohem is the choice all the way
There is a design flaw for this gimbal. The tracking camera should have been able to rotate to the front when shooting using phone. With gopro, the tracking camera points to the front but not when using phone. If you reverse the phone for primary camera, the clamps block the screen & you are unable to press screen settings.

The hand gestures for AI tracking is terrible, unless you are at a close distance and in full bright light. It takes my gimbal quite a few attempts at getting it to recognise any gestures, making it very frustrating to use!

The way you would be using there’s a gimbal with FilmicPro is exactly if you would be using only smart one with the gimbal. The buttons are not integrated with that app

How to change the battery? How to open the back? Is there a trick, I don't want to damage the remote trying to open the back cover. Any suggestions?
Oh no you too having trouble with the remote… my husband had to put it to branch vide… then with knife pushed the doors to slide to the side… it went easily after that. If you do that by hand it won’t go… I emailed Hohem that the doors need to be changed… it is crazy

I have a hohem XE for Samsung ultra s23 and in general it works the motor works just as well as the gimbal for this phone but for this gimbal a bit too heavy for the phone but I'm still admiring that the gimbal can handle it the only downside is that the case etui needs to be removed because it stuck only minus
