This mouse is my endgame, personally. Atlantis mini was my main but after using this for a few days I’ve gone Maya. As someone who switches from finger tip to claw while I play, I could never find a mouse that did both perfectly. Atlantis is perfect for claw but the finger tip felt a bit off and unstable. It’s still doable, and good, but the stability felt just a tiny bit off for my hand size. The Maya though, it’s perfect. I can switch in the fly so naturally with this mouse. The hump is perfectly placed so when you pull it in to claw you remain stable, and when you finger tip it doesn’t get in the way. I’m blown away by how good it feels.
I got the Maya in Cloud Grey and it came in a few days ago. At first I had mixed feelings about it because the shape was new and the skates were a bit scratchy. After 2 days of gaming I can say that this is best mouse I've owned. I have atlantis mini, x2h mini, superlight, sora 4k. After 2 days the skates became super smooth and fast, and the shape is perfect for fingertip grip. I play a lot of valorant and starcraft 2 and it is perfect for both games. As a side note, the huano pink dot switch implementation on the Maya is about 20% lighter than on the atlantis, which is immediately noticable when switching between the maya and the atlantis.
@@RylHango if you only play FPS games and use claw grip then buy atlantis. If you play RTS, MOBA, etc then go for Maya. I would recommending getting both if you have money.
@@RylHango i have both and i feel more confortable and have more control with the maya with a relaxed claw grip, maybe because i have 19 x 10 hand size

I preordered this mouse the other day. Your review made me even more excited to receieve it! I've used a G502 for around 7 years without changing and I'm gonna miss the four side buttons! Can't wait to get this in my hands, thanks for the helpful review, man!
Not sure your are even remotely in a position to know if you are going to even remotely like it if you are coming from a g502. You have no idea really what shape preference you have at this point. Comparing the maya to the g502 is like comparing an lemon to a pumpkin. It is not even remotely similar, completely different in every single way.
Very high quality, in depth reviews, especially the shape comparisons are very good. Only one thing is missing for me though, the measurements of the mouses like front, grip, back (widest point), length, top and button high. I think you will be one the biggest mouse reviewer with these quality videos, keep up the good work!
Congrats on the very first Maya review. Those haters on X must be going nuts! I'm interested on this one. I don't like very much the Atlantis so I end up using the Pulsar X2/X2 Mini because I prefer the more flat shape. The aggressive curves on the Atlantis felt a bit uncomfortable to me.
I own the x2h mini, atlantis mini, and the maya and for fingertip grip (which I mainly use) the x2h and the maya are good. The reason I would use the maya over the x2h for fingertip is the click implementation is much crisper. The atlantis mini is great for a locked in claw but not too comfortable for a fingertip style.
@@inspire1ove agree. For me the best switches so far are from the sora 4K. The lightest I ever used. It seems the second batch of LGG LA1 might use it as well.
I'm really hesitant.. everything looks good but I'm still not sure what type of top profile/back hump shape this mouse has. And I think this is the most interesting part on this mouse. I was interested in the maya because from the side profile it looks really similar to the viper mini on eloshape but now seeing the curve of the back hump shape from the back 7:107:30 it does not really look like a viper mini back hump. Which is the best part of the viper mini imo. the viper minis back hump feels and looks much narrower and rounder, almost like a ball when you look at it from this angle. On the maya, the back hump from this angle looks "wider" and more "spread out" to the sides, more similar to the atlantis or even the Starlight-12 (or even the viper v2), just slightly higher profile than the starlight sure, but still the same wider and flatter hump and not this high and round hump. The slimmer feel of the viper minis back hump and middle hump just feels so much more comfortable than the finalmouse or atlantis hump. I hope I'm wrong and the maya does feel similar to the viper mini in that regard though. Can anyone who maybe reads this confirm this or give feedback? I'd like to pre order one but I'm really not sure if it's truly a viper mini in terms of top shell shape edit: 8:57 he does say the top feels a bit wider on the maya :/ think it's a pass for me fuck 9:43 here it's really obvious what I mean. the viper minis hump has a more rounder shape all around, the mayas hump is again more squarish like the sl 12, viper v2, atlantis etc. what a bummer
Great review. Hopefully they release a larger version of this. The only thing I didn't like about the OG atlantis was how deceptively narrow it gets in the center. With the flatter side profile of this mouse I think it would be a perfect shape.
after using the maya, I found myself kind of missing the curves of the atlantis. But since the maya is soo good for fingertip grip I am using it as my main and going to the atlantis mini sometimes only when I'm playing FPS games

@@zovicoo heyy, so first of all it's a very safe shape, like a viper mini or some kind of mini gpx version, so it fits me perfectly and it's like an upgrade for me and my aim, the weight is amazing and it looks very peremium and the red version has a good coating after a few minutes of play. @@zovicoo Hey, I saw your comment on my video and I wanted to answer you here, so first of all it depends on the way you hold the mouse, the mini is really perfect for the clawgrip, but the maya is more open to several types of grip, a bit like a G Pro Superlight but smaller. First day w/ the mice I love the Atlantis mini the most. The back hump gets me so locked in but the Maya feels more balanced, probably best for most. My pinky feels plenty fine better than on hsk lol. Still testing to see if I can main the Maya but I think the Atlantis mini is winner 4 me
My two current mice I main are the SL12, and the Atlantis Maya. I love the SL12, but the 4k and build quality of the Atlantis mini make it my #1. However sometimes I feel like the agressive curves toward the back of the Atlantis don't suit my fingertip grip as much as the SL12, and isn't as good at micro adjustments or dragging the mouse downward to control recoil like I can with the SL12. But the Maya looks like the perfect middle ground between the SL12 and atlantis mini. Can't wait to get this mouse. Could very well be my endgame, maybe even take the spot of the new Ultralight. Nice review! Just ordered mine. You said the clicks feel light, how would you compare them to the GPX 2? I find that gpx 2 seems heavy compared to gm8.0 for example. I prefer heavier clicks, maybe I have to swap them out once I get this.
They'll probably be the same as the Huano Transparent Blue Shell Pink Dots in the Atlantis, which is to say quite light. Not as light as the Omrons on the GPX1, but much lighter than the GPX2 or Kailh 8.0's.
Great job Liam, thanks for an another awesome review. I currently main an XD7 and love it very much. I wanna try something similar in terms of size, but with a tad more stability in terms of palm contact. Was thinking of an X2H mini, but it’s not available in my region. Would you say the Maya would be a good buy? Did try Atlantis (both regular and mini) and they felt too curvy. Would love something in the lines of the Zowie S2, but just a tad smaller 😅
Can I please know if there's any bottom flexing problem, I am having issues with both my Atlantis mini and original, it's so annoying but I am still hesitated to buy the maya and already bought the thorn.
Great video as always! I pre-ordered one of these as soon as it became available, so I'm looking forward to getting it! @@AimAdaptbetween the two which would you choose the ninjutsu sora 4K or this
@@shooternerd Maya
@@AimAdapt very good to know! lastly, how does the maya compare to the pulsar x2? given that the maya has a more neutral mid hump and the x2 having a aggressive rear hump?
Great video. Is it very close to the feel of holding an X2V2? How would it differ if not? :)
great video as always...,does the atlantis 4k dongle work on maya mouse?
Great video! Im already really hyped for this mouse! Im maining a pulsar x2 mini at the moment, do you think this mouse is good for smaller hands with relaxed claw grip? In addition, what is your experience with the battery so far? Many thanks!
what do you think of this mouse compared to the sora 4k?
They are both top tier but I prefer the Maya. It really just comes down to shape preference for me
Does the maya feel like the atlantis mini with a higher front?
Is the coating the same in every colour variant?
How does it fell compared to vgn f1? Isthe mid hump similar?
can you review the 3 new keychron mice shapes?
I already reviewed the M3 Mini and ill see if I can get the others
cant wait for next months new main mouse lol
Nice review! Just ordered mine. You said the clicks feel light, how would you compare them to the GPX 2? I find that gpx 2 seems heavy compared to gm8.0 for example. I prefer heavier clicks, maybe I have to swap them out once I get this.
They'll probably be the same as the Huano Transparent Blue Shell Pink Dots in the Atlantis, which is to say quite light. Not as light as the Omrons on the GPX1, but much lighter than the GPX2 or Kailh 8.0's.
I have ajazz aj139 pro, and when i check on internet lamzu maya have almost identic shape to aj139 pro, can you comfirm it? Since i want to tamed maya
Nice video, appreciate all the detail.
No test on click latency? The Atlantis was showing 30x the click latency of other mice.
At a default debounce time. I love Optimum but testing at default doesn't make sense for an enthusiast product, especially considering his audience.
@@t3e_e This is why I was hoping to see this shown especially in a review.
@@TheBrandonAF I hear ya. Me too!
Can I please know if there's any bottom flexing problem, I am having issues with both my Atlantis mini and original, it's so annoying but I am still hesitated to buy the maya and already bought the thorn.
have you ever had any problems with dust or hair in these types of open bottom mice?
Ive been using hts plus ace for a year and im planning to change for lamzu atlantis mini is it worth it to change mice my grip is relax claw
How is it VS the Lamzu Thorn?
Hi, do you know if there s gonna be a mini version of the maya ?
The Maya is already a mini-sized mouse
Is Maya ANY wider in the front than in the middle? aka. does it have ANY front flare out? Can You measure it? Please?
Would you say the Maya has a noticeably wider grip width than the Viper Mini?
a little yes
wish they made a polar white one also why no 4k adapter included... 99€ for mouse without dongle
does it have less hump support than the atlantis?
Lamzu seriously has to make a very small fingertip mouse, like the HSKs or the Zaunkoenigs.
Best mice reviews are here, my guys
Finally, my new main 🗿
My goodness, I just bought the Atlantis 4k, and now this?
If I have a 4k dongle for Atlantis can I pair to this?
could it still be used for console gameplay?
wish you copmared it to the htx since its in the same weight class
Will it be mini Maya?
l was considering the Viper V3 shape, but lamzu released this shape out of the blue. I guess I won't have to hassle with getting a 4k razer dongle.
Great video as always! I pre-ordered one of these as soon as it became available, so I'm looking forward to getting it!
Speaking of Lamzu, that most recent firmware update fixed my lag/stuttering issues, so I now have two fully functional Lamzu Mini's. Glad they got it all sorted out, now I have one that I can give away to a friend!
damn yo it looks hella pretty
I would appriciate latency tests
Guys i need help, lamzu maya or ninjutso sora 4k? i play fortnite with claw grip
This inteo is Wild.
