Hi! The Miles Master was a WW2 trainer of quite historical significance. I am glad to see that someone made a kit of it! If I recall correctly it might have been entirely a wooden construction, so no rivets would be needed. Thanks for the review!
De bagging... Oh my school days when that meant someone having their trousers ripped off. OK now it means getting a model kit outside of the noisy plastic bag. Makes sense but the phrase took me back.
@@TimsScaleModelling Hi Tim..question. What kind of set up do you use for your overhead videos? I would like to start shooting videos that way and just wonder what kind of equipment to get. I am looking at something like this: www.amazon.com/Universal-Flexible-Rotation-Bracket-3-5-6-3/dp/B07P7Z1FWL
Hi Drew.. I use iPhone to film with so this stand is just like mine, just what you need. You’ll need a microphone but I reckon the ear buds you get with your phone would be fine. All of my vids have been edited using iMovie apart from the Miles Master vid which I tried out VN Video Editor. iMovie is more than good enough for my needs, there should be equivalent if your not using Apple stuff. I hope this helps.
@@TimsScaleModelling thank you! I am glad you are familiar with this type of stand. I have a great little program on my iPhone called Perfect Video. Harry Houdini (the modeler)!told me about it. Only about $5 U.S. Has a few more features than iMovie. I typically do voice overs mostly. Take care! Drew
Good Luck. I got the Dora Wings Lockheed Vega. About chucked it out the window , nothing fit well, no help in the engineering for complicated assembly points. I've had better luck with 50 year old Williams Brothers Kits.
Oh dear John, doesn’t sound good! This definitely has a short run feel to it and does look similar to a Classic Airframes kit. That said they could be be a bit hit and miss too..
@@TimsScaleModelling Yeah, I had the same initial thoughts as you when I opened it that it looked pretty good. Your kit probably won't be as fiddly with the wing. If you look at a Lockeed Vega , there are several pieces that need to fit correct for the wing to fit correct. There were no clear instructions on how to do that, no locator pins or even marks to help guide you in gluing in steps. Near impossible to do a dry fit without tons of tape as nothing was engineered to fit together. I only get a set amount of time to build with a Full Time Job, so when a kit is just a misery to work on it's hard to keep going.

Yeah Radu, timber construction. I’ve only I’d done a little research, I’d avoided looking like a right idiot..

One never stops learning... No harm done yet! 🙂
Looking forward to this one!
Every day is a school day Radu 😉

Haha sorry about that M Bak 😉😊
Great review Tim👍 It’s great to see trainer aircraft being released. I have the Airfix Chipmunk on pre order.
Nice Otto, that would make a nice, quick and easy build
Looks like a nice kit, Tim. I am not very familiar with this brand or the aircraft. Looking forward to seeing you build this! Take care. Drew
Cheers Drew... well, yes, I don’t know much on the Master either.

I do voiceovers mainly as well Drew, but have struggled getting decent audio. It’s a never ending search to find the right gear.

I know what you mean John, sometimes you’ve gotta put it to one side and crack on with something else
Looks a very interesting subject
Doesn’t it Steve..? Can’t wait to get cracking
It was an all-wooden aircraft so no rivets!
Ah!! Right that serve me right for not doing any research!! Thanks Roger
Thats an intriguing little kit Tim. Looking forward to it going together.
