Hey you guys at the comment section ..... all of you are talking about soils and critisizing the video. This is the first time in india that ada is holding a nature aquarium contest. Its different from the other setup..thats why using 20 kgs of soil.. If they would have used 10 kgs of soil then there would be no difference between this and the other setups...This is unique!
hello sir! Amazing work, sir I don't have the knowledge about the plants and soil so can you please tell me that this same setup like the Amazonia soil and the plant which are planted can be used without Co2 cylinder ? or instead of cylinder , liquid Co2 chemical can be used for plants? please help
Quite a few. Primarily Bolbitis and Needle Leaf fern in the driftwood, montecarlo and eleocharis parvula as the carpet, honda mini tripatita, anubias nana gold, anubias nana petite, Rotalla indica, ludwigia super red, etc.
TropiCo Aqua which plants you used in drift wood branch??? Please tell me the name and price of these plants which used in branch wood. ?.............. where is your shop? ???? Kolkata????? ? Give the address please. ?.
Sir mujhe 3 feet ka bnana hai Usmai 5mm ka glass success rhega Length 3 feet Height 15 inches Deap 10 inches Water pressure Ki wajha se glass blast to nahi hoga
Dont know where was the triangle ratio in the tank. Choice of wood seems pretty average. Scape looks 2012 or 13 type, not the current IAPLC standard. Overall disappointing for ADA India. Adip spent time in Japan with Takashi amano, but I feel adip has to spend time in nature to understand more. Finer points. Just my 2 cents.
This one has an ADA ES1200 filter, with Biorio as the media. CO2 supply is through pressurised Co2 cylinder and is on a timer which co-incides with the lights. Algae will naturally occur as the aquarium cycles, initially there are excess nutrients in the water more than what the plants need and therefore algae thrives. Over time as plants grow, algae does not get adequate nutrients, phospates are also under control. Regular water changes will help in clearing off excess nutrients and more importantly waste accumulation.
Its awesome.....great work I have a small fish and i want to do the scaping in my tank.....if someone can please suggest me where can i get the plants and wood branches from?
Hi Siddhesh, this one is an ADA (Aqua Design Amano) setup. The idea was to have a showcase ADA setup in our Gallery, using all ADA products. So, everything used in this setup is from the ADA range of products, from the 120P Aquarium, the RGB LED Lights, the ES1200 Filter, the ADA Amazonia substrate, Power Soil, Bacter 100,Clear Super, etc. An ADA only setup like this will cost approximately close to Rs.4 Lakhs. Similar results can also be achieved using other brands or a combination thereof, depending on one's budget. The most important aspects to consider while planning a planted aquarium are 1)Good Lighting 2) Good Filtration 3) Good Substrate 4) CO2 System 5)Adequate and timely dosing of Fertilisers combined with regular water changes. Brands/products used can differ as per one's budget.
Vishesh Raina they use all that soil to hills and slopes in the tank. It adds more dept, surface area, and more nutrients for the plants. Many pro aquascapers do it like Amano and the shrimp king
The idea was to showcase the various substrates used in the making of this Nature Aquarium, from the Power Sand, followed by the Amazonia and finally topped up with the Amazonia Powder Type. Plant growth has been phenomenal. Do checkout the latest updates on facebook.com/tropicoaqua
Очень много сойла . Особенно толстый слой впереди. Если бы толщину у передней стенки уменьшить вдвое, аквариум смотрелся бы куда гармоничнее. Ну что сказать, далеко не Такаши Амано!
Driftwood is wood that has naturally fallen in water and has dried up over time. The passage of water over the wood creates interesting grooves and patterns. Most of the wood sold in the market however is roots of the red moor tree or similar. They are dry and easy to use in underwater scapes and sink in relatively fast.
Actually, the scape was planned in a way to show a slope, with two driftwoods on either side of the scape and a 'valley' in between. The high level of substrate at the back, was also to showcase the different substrates used, starting with the Power Soil as the first layer, followed by Amazonia as the second layer and finally Amazonia Powder type as the top layer. The back layer is about 7-8 inches high, while the front is about 2 inches. Over the last 2 years of this scape, the substrate has leveled out more in the front. One can see more updates on our facebook page facebook.com/tropicoaqua. Will share a recent video of the same scape soon.
Nice setup, woods and stones are amazing.

A masterpiece by TropiCo Aqua, I would love to have an aquarium like this one.
If they were going for "Pieces of wood sticking out of a pile of dirt look" - they nailed it.

What's the name of the spray head used to wet the substrate?
James Bennett its just water . Nothin more
That was just a water...they were just moisturizing the subtances they installed in the tank..
See you have half filled the tank with substrate and power sand it's useless cause you don't need so much soil for plants growth
nice to aquascape
This must be an expensive hobby
Floating comments are partially visible, not good, clarity is poor, 📷 angle too close , couldn't enjoy the video
