I have the "Illusions" messenger bag from Time Resistance in their cognac brown shade, which I absolutely love. They call it Vachetta leather (full grain, veg tanned), and it's soft and supple. The bags are made in Italy but are shipped (for free) from Lithuania on the Baltic. I had some initial concerns about that, but I needn't have worried -- the bag arrived in four days. Four days from Europe! Some US firms struggle to match that.
I have a smaller Doctor bag from Time Resistance. Great leather and very functional. Not a fan of the cloth interior sown into my bag, but still enjoy it.
