This ball rolls amazing for Angel. Honestly, I haven't been impressed by the few videos I've seen of this ball until now. Too bad for me that I can't throw anything dull, but hopefully folks who can will check out this video to see how nicely it shapes even with surface on it.
I do understand that there's hk22, cohesion...all the bells and whistles. I will admit though that with Ebonite and Columbia 300 being pretty price-friendly, there was a little sticker shock seeing that this ball is $190 undrilled
I saw other videos and said, not my ball. Then I saw the first few shots from Angel, and saw the surface. This is solid gold on the shim with surface. Maybe the best shim rider with HK-22C. Then you show the Anger with surface, and it's another Wow! ball, but for a little more swing. Two very complementary balls.
People need to wake up to how good stuff can be for with surface adjustments. One of the best reactions I had in recent years was a 2k fireball. Theorem looked terrible for my buddy til I knocked it down to 3k and he shot his first 800 that week. Invest in some pads and find the sweet spot.
So many people are either uninformed or are intimidated by changing surface. My zen soul has been 1k grit for long sport patterns to 2k grit as a phaze 2 alternative to 500/1500 Brunswick compound for lighter oiled lanes. Hell at 1000 grit my 4x35 layouthustle rip rolls like my pitch black urathane
Nah, this would be a ball up from the UC2, or at the very least sideways because I think this cover is a fair amount stronger. Sideways is probably the most accurate I would say because this one is symmetric.
The UC2 wasn't really that strong, it was basically an Attention Star. It was pretty responsive or fast on the backend, but this cover is stronger but also just as sharp if not sharper, and while the UC2 was asymmetric, it was a mild asym, so it wasn't that much more than a symmetric ball. I think this one would probably outhook and out-backend the UC2 side by side.
I loved my Fate until no amount of detox, etc, could mend the cover. It was dead. I have a Hy-road. So, there's that. What I need is that ball for when the Intense Mindset (love it) hooks at your feet. Was really thinking No Doubt. Now I see this and it might be the one?
Eh, the Intense Mindset is already really clean, the No Doubt is earlier so that's definitely not the answer. I think Scorpion Strike would be the one as this ball is still pretty strong and dynamic.
You thought very highly of the messenger powercor black/gold as a better ball than anything columbia has put out does this one live up to that level or is this just another meh?
I like your response to surface adjustments. Great video

I appreciate the new intro monologue

Yeah that's kind of odd for a strong symmetric ball from them . . I didn't notice that.

Yeah definitely! People don't use surface enough, and sometimes a small adjustment can turn a nope into a yup.

Nice Back to the Future reference 👍
I feel like bowling RUclips doesn't talk about surface in depth enough. I put 2000 and reacta gloss on my Super Nova and it became a whole new animal.
I'm curious. How does the ball motion look?
@TheLlamaD much cleaner, then snappy on the back end
That ball rolls terrific for Angel, very impressive.
1) This ball looks AMAZING for her.
2) Crazy for picking up some "ball down from RG Rubicon UC2" vibes?

@@LukeRosdahl That strong, huh? Wow. Part of me's a bit surprised by that. Thanks!

@LukeRosdahl oh, I watched the ball review video. Scorpion strike vs Phaze AI. "Save the money." I heard you loud and clear. Thanks again!
First like. First comment? Waiting for my baby backs to get done!

So far this one has also been amazing, Angel has thrown it a lot and really likes it.
How is this compared to vaporize
Very similar, Vaporize is just asymmetric, so a little more torque. Overall really close though.
