    Here is my suggestion .. don’t switch balls so much thinking it is the do all be all answer … your first game of 222 was fine just fine tune the speed , wrist position, foot location , etc … try to refrain from just taking a guess and switching balls .. especially if your balls are all drilled differently … in the old school days ball change was not the first adjustment unless the ball had no look at all.
    Great videos good luck in the future !!

    Ion Max is great. It throws the pins down on the pin deck. You played straight on board 10 and towards the end of first game the oil started to wear away from that line. Move left at the arrows and keep the break point still at 10-board. The two splits in first game happened due to missing the line, first one out and second one in. Otherwise you can keep the ball on the target line.

    Having watched your channel for quite some time, I can say you have resolved just about all of the physical limitations of your game. That being said, adding a little more ball roll (revs) and refining speed control would give you more tools to work with. At this point your success or failure is largely a result of the mental side of the game. What ball you choose to throw and what line you play is more the deciding factor than any mechanical errors you may make. I do think that the plethora of balls available that do different things in todays game has discouraged players from becoming as adept at changing their ball roll to adapt to lane conditions. Now it's more about changing balls rather than changing how they throw it! You can probably deduce that I come from a bygone era of bowling (plastic versus rubber to be exact) and you would be correct. Let me add, however, that I have no delusions about which generation of bowlers is the best. E.J. Tackett would have cleaned up in ANY era!

    Confidence is absolutely everything! I would just make a video of nothing but you throwing strikes and watch it over and over. Unfortunately it is easier to focus on the negative. Once the negativity creeps in, it is hard to focus on the positive. One shot at a time and stay positive, everything will turn around soon.

    Head movement to the left is causing the shoulder to follow, causing the hand to move over and around the ball early. Perhaps try getting the legs more involved in generating power?
    If that helps, it was my idea. If not, I don’t know who’s idea it was!

    In the 1st game, one shot was a lil’ too much angle, another was missing a lil’ left and the other the ball didn’t penetrate the pocket consistently

    some good advice in the comment here. by trying for more revs, you might be squeezing and grabbing the ball causing other problems. in tournaments all you should be doing is making shots, reading ball shape and reaction, nothing else, that's for practice. keep things simple. its more mental at this stage than anything. Eric is 10 weeks out from the start of PBA, hopefully he gets some varying equipment to fill gaps in ball shape.

    I don’t know if you have always bowled this much and are simply vlogging more or if your tournament and league bowling has increased but, either way, with all the practice you’ve been getting, you are sure to improve. You may have a hiccup or two along the way but your trajectory is up.

    A friend sent me this video because I was in it! I bowled on the pair next to you in the tourney, though I'm not very memorable. Got lucky and made the cut (right at 625 too), and remembered seeing you bowl (though not your scores, sadly). Didn't know you were making a video though. cool! oh, note that this is my late wife's account that I keep using for some reason...

    Those first 6 strikes, you were throwing a tank! You looked like Kelly Kulick. Then the lane conditions turned brutal. You should have watched early 70s videos of Nelson Burton Jr. bowling, and asked your grandfather to lend you his Brunswick Black Beauty.
    As usual, be careful about doing too much with your wrist. You don't want to irritate those ligaments and bones in the carpals, where they heal so slowly.

    How long are your practice sessions? Between league and FUNetic Fridays, I usually practice one day a week and for maybe 30-40 minutes. One game of trying different angles, and one game of strictly spare shooting.

    • @aaaaa4966
      @aaaaa4966 Месяц назад

      Have to agree with this. It seems that your hand is coming a bit behind the legs and therefore your aim suffers a bit. Easy to fix tho with practice but takes a few weeks to get used to it. I think that your shot doesn´t look "comfortable" atm. (Can´t think of a better word here, not my first language, sorry :D ) but i have to say that once you get the timing working and it stats to look "comfy" or whatever you want to call it, you have a shot at becoming really really good at our game.

    • @DavidDawson-q8m
      @DavidDawson-q8m Месяц назад

      @ idk if I agree with that. Only thing I noticed was her spine tilt changed a bit. When she threw the ball well and struck she had a tendency of pushing her head to the left. When she threw bad, she threw the ball with her shoulder and her head had a tendency to dip down a bit, which affected her accuracy.

    Didn’t you shoot 800 at Nationals? Sometimes you have to go back to the basics. And you have to bowl “you”, as in what works for you and how do you replicate that. You got this. 🙌

    Watching this, I can see both your and Eric's issues. For you,starting with the IonMaxx, then going to a lesser responding ball, you are trying to do too much with the lesser balls and dropping your right shoulder to try and increase the revs to compensate. Eric, just doesn't look comfortable with his equipment. And he is also trying to force the issue. You, young lady, need to have something that resembles the old Money Badger Tour at about 3000 grit, dull. Maybe, taking the VEBO down to 3000 would be the play. To just get you comfortable throwing that "dull". I am getting used to hitting by hand my stuff to 3000 to be consistent.

    Sarah. I watched you today and jmo I think your release is to whippy. Give this a try when practicing, I'm 66 yo and quit bowling when I turned 50 I had a lifetime average of 215 I didn't bowl in Tournaments because of my average, when people are averaging 235 to 245 it was hard for me to do well in tournaments, When I was 15 I lived at a bowling center and a man that watched me bowl told me to reach for the ceiling when releasing the ball well I started doing that till the day I quit bowling every shot I threw my hand was pointing at the ceiling after release it kept the shot online and kept the forward roll on the ball I would advise you to try the same thing without that whippy hand going backwards like you do just do straight up to the ceiling I know what sounds fairly simple but I don't think you need to get too technical you will figure everything else out yourself try this and good luck

    Stop falling into the constant ball change trap. Ball changes are a last resort when you can't adjust anymore. You need to learn more about adjusting your shot and being more accurate. Missing your mark by 4 or 5 boards isn't going to get fixed by a ball change. Look at 10:29. I haven't watched you much but I consider this a good shot for you. Now look at 11:10. You rush the foul line, throw harder and miss your mark by about 3 boards. You still almost carried a strike. Learn to adjust to the conditions and be more consistent.
