I have one desert rose plant that I brought last year but it doesn’t bloom for me here in Ontario Canada. I never give fertilizer too as I don’t know what to use. Any help would be great. Thank you

Mine get aphids every year at the same time. I spray them off with a hose and the plant is good to go.

Can you use a little bit of fish fertilizer?
Hi Maria thanks a lot for the video. I bought a beautiful desert Rose with flowers blooming about a month ago in Dubai. It's peak summer with temperature over 100 F everyday. I water the plant twice a week. However the plant has lost most of the flowers and leaves are drying up. I feel like I'm gonna lose it. Any tips on how to make sure the flowers and leaves don't dry up? Thank you
Sameer Khan Hi my friend I understand the it’s very hot also here in the USA Florida state it’s very hot and humid in the 90 to 100 the degrees what I suggest you to move the plant for 3 to 4 hours of sun daily morning or evening best if morning water it’s not going to help the plant they can root rot if you move them you are going to notes with the two weeks the differences and they bloom and get stronger but if they’re in the ground please don’t disturb until the bigger of spring thank you Maria’s garden

Wow you just answered a very important question for me. My small desert rose is on a shallow bonsai pot. Since it’s shallow it dries out quickly. The base is soft and until now I didn’t know if it was root rot, or normal, or something else. Now, I’m almost sure it’s dehydrated. I would love it if you make a dedicated video on this subject of determining root rot vs dehydration. Thanks!!

BRANDY STOTLER Hi Brandy very good question to be honest with you we don’t have winter in Florida lol the coolest it gets here is about 30 degrees about three four time during winter and if the desert rose are established for a lease a year they ok if gets below 30 degrees Then i recommend to cover with a sheet or a blanket until morning time I have a nursery outside full of desert Roses the only ones you have to worry about isthe baby seedlings summer or winter until there ten month old to a year there like baby’s lol thank Maria’s garden

如是青山 Hi my friend this product is for every plant and tree the product the works this is what professional growers used 3 tablespoons for a gallon of water for small plant and shrubs for large tree or palm you need to read back of the container work for any insect everything the price is a little high but one spray dose it all My bougainvillea has been eating by bugs 🐜 I,spray and is good thank you Maria’s garden

Barry Cartwright Hi my friend for any seedlings they’re a year or less you need to used different soil like for example 80% coconut coir 20% perlite osmocote slow release Epsom salt unscented any type of blooming fertilizer and mix it all up and you ready to go Maria’s garden also don’t forget the recovery for six to seven weeks that is very extremely important in the recovery of you desert roses thank you Maria’s garden
