Carbs are sugars. There's simple sugars like sucrose(cane sugar), glucose, fructose and more complex sugars like starch and cellulose(fiber). Carbs are not necessarily bad. You need glucose to perform glycolysis in the cells to create energy by making ATP. You need fiber to help regulated water in your digestive system. The big thing to cut out is added sugars like high fructose corn syrup and just excessive amounts of simple sugars. The other thing is sugars are high in calories.
You don't need fiber. There are carnivores that are healthier than most. I've been into this stuff all my life. All the human vegetables need to quit hovering around things and ideas that make them feel good
@@ruffonstuff3489 🤣 for sure man keep watching the Liver King and thinking he is natural too. Fiber is definitely necessary.
Well it’s not like sugar is calorically dense like fat being 9 calories per gram. It’s just that sugars are so easy to binge consume, and then they digest faster so u get hungry and want to eat again. Borderline addictive neuropathways that sugar starts building, so u wanna eat it more. Carbs/sugars are hard to put down, basically everything has some
@@ssj9devil They literally change how your brain feels so you're 100% correct about the addictive nature of sugars. High levels of sugars in the brain normally in type 2 diabetes can cause brain damage.
@@chemstreescreations Fiber is not "needed" to live which is what I think the other person was trying to say. Is a certain amount good for your overall health? Probably yeah :). But.... there are people who actually eat only meat and still survive. Like Inuit people who lived for centuries on either a pure carnivore diet or something extremely close. Also, some people have diseases where eating nothing but meat is best for them and while other diseases a plant based diet is best.
Josh and Jacob, would you two agree that the Secret could be … “LAUGHTER” ? When I don’t feel well I watch you and all my ailments are gone while I’m laughing.. A distraction of my aches and pains by LAUGHTER ALWAYS WORKS 😭
Thank you.
I eat 2 small meals a day.
That way if I want a soda pop or a candy bar, not a big deal.
No gym.
I walk my dog and my job is delivery so it's more active than a desk job!
I just bought a dress, size small!
Love it!
It fits great!
Dude when did you start streaming? I thought you where only a stand up comedian lol????
There is no secret to losing weight yes but also sometimes fat people aren't fat because they want to be or laziness (definitely lazy). I'm fat because I found out after years and years that it's insulin resistance. And doctors were saying every other condition. Has a doctor done that to you?
What's sad is so many people believe it's as simple as calorie in calorie out. Nope, life is rarely that simple and people always want a simple answer unless it's not what they want to hear. Human health is super complex and extremely hard to properly study. Our bodies don't treat all calories equal. Also some people win the DNA jackpot and no matter what garbage they eat they always stay skinny. Now does that mean that diet has nothing to do with weight? No! I'm trying to lose weight while living the same lifestyle I was 4 years ago and I still have 40 pounds to go. I've also know(n) plenty of people with insulin resistance. It's insane to see a 300 pound plus guy who consumes around 1500 calories a day not lose any weight. It essentially defies physics.
@@shadowprince4482 It's still calories in, calories out. Insulin resistance means the calories are struggling to make it into the cells where they can be used/burned. Changes the difficulty of burning the calories but it's still calories in, calories out.
@@lordtrickster Still proves my point of not all calories are treated equally. You don't really get to say that a food is 1500 calories when it's 1500 for one person versus 500 for someone else and then say the food label is what actually matters. Maybe life is complex and can't just be simply calories on a food label vs calories out.
@@shadowprince4482 It's not 500 for someone else. A calorie (kcal) is a unit of energy. It doesn't change by the person. Insulin resistance makes it harder to get the sugars from the blood into the cells so you can use them, so you end up with higher blood sugar until they get converted to fats and stored. Best way to offset this is to avoid eating foods that cause a big blood sugar spike and to do lots of lighter physical activity instead of trying to pack all your exercise into one short time span.
Calorie control. Restrict, lose weight, have enough, stay the same, have lots of em, put on weight. Simple.
I read that as "the Secret to Heather Living" and wondered....
Haha I read the same thing and had to look again 😂
Without stress there is no growth
