The ink colors on the front of this card are fantastic! All your hints and funny comments really make your videos so enjoyable. Thanks for making card making so fun.
well there are ads on them - but no I don't put the non-skippable ads in the middle of my videos as I know they annoy a lot of people (I do this as a job so I try to find a balance between it all!)
@@PrairiePaperandInk I have unsubscribed from so many people because the ads are every 3 to 5 mins and if it's a 20 min video it's annoying. Thank you again! I can't wait for the next video :)
A hot, prairie, summer evening, with the wildflowers in silhouette. As the sun sinks lower, in the western sky. I can picture it perfectly with your card. 💕
Pretty card! I tried that glue because of you and your love of it! Super easy to use with my arthritic hands! Odd smell, but great glue! Thank you!❤️✌️😎
awesome! If you find after time that it gets too thick and more pressure is needed to squeeze it out just add a few drops of distilled water and shake it up really well. I don't have to do that very often (maybe twice in like 2+ years and however many bottles of glue) but it helps a ton!
I just recently got the tim holtz stamping platform, the travel version, since my stamps are not bigger then a5 and I am loving that thing the big bonus no muzz no fuzz cleaning wise. Im seeing your stamps grow in size just thought I drop that here, hehehehehe
I've shown the TH platforms in a bunch of past videos - it's no longer available in North America (long story) so I use the Misti's and I'm happy with them :)
@@PrairiePaperandInk ooh that is a bummer, plenty of eu stores retail them still; so if anyone wants one;can but mind the shipping costs, current prices on shipping are going banana's due to corona and new VAT prices for some countries in the eu. I get the demo reasons tho.
yes they're still available in the EU etc (where Tonic is based and Tonic makes the platforms) just no longer in North America - it was a deal agreed to with the creator of the Misti. So for those willing to pay the shipping and whatnot they can find it and order it but I won't demo something that isn't readily available in North America as 99% of my audience is based in the US :)
Another amazing card, Amy! You’re seriously doing damage to my budget! 😂 Thanks to you, this is one of my favorite stamp sets too! I have a question though...when I ink blend I tend to use Bristol paper just because I’m not the best at ink blending yet and I get a smoother outcome with Bristol paper. The problem tho is that the black ink (versa fine onyx black pigment ink) I use for the silhouetted wildflowers never seems to dry...like even days later I can smudge it. I tried other black inks, but could never get great coverage over oxides. What black ink do you prefer to use with this wildflower stamp set?
Versafine Clair Nocturne - and it's similar if not the same formula as Versafine (same manufacturer). Stamping them over inks blended on Bristol Smooth means the ink is just sitting there on top - so it either needs to be heat set or heat embossed with embossing powder if it isn't drying :)
if the envelope comes in contact with water I'd be more concerned about the address, and the card inside. So no - I don't seal anything I just don't see the need to :)
I just llllooovvve embellishments what would we do without mistakes.lol. I'm always embellishing I'm in the middle of a card and I go nope let's try something else...weird

Adding the black soot to the flowers really changed the look from a sunrise morning hue to more of an evening sunset hue
Those colors make such a beautiful blended background. Just gorgeous.
Another gorgeous card!! Those oxide colors are so perfect together. Love it! 💜
I love all of your cards! Can I also say, thank you, thank you for not having any commercials in your videos. :) its appreciated

Love this 😍 - I too like to decorate my envelopes...
Just fab!
Love it, TFS
Gorgeous as always. Question: Is SlimLine die is a trend or is it a new postage mail requirement from the Post Office?
there's no requirements from the PO - I just make them because I like making them 🤷🏻♀️

Prairie Paper & Ink (AmyR) Thank you! I’ll have to try the matte dull when it’s back in stock. 🤗 I really appreciate you getting back to me! 💛
Do you need to do seal the envelope so it doesnt smear if it comes in contact with water, will the oxide run
if the envelope comes in contact with water I'd be more concerned about the address, and the card inside. So no - I don't seal anything I just don't see the need to :)
@@PrairiePaperandInk can you seal it or would that make it "oxidize" too
Bravo!
