Jason, that was a way of laughing at themselves and humbly admitting that they haven't learned all the exact "politically correct" ways to handle every situation that can arise with a baby. I'm sure they haven't done anything that would be harmful to him. Every new parent learns through trial and error. I don't know if you're a parent. But I think most parents can relate to what they're saying.
Funny speech but not only LGBT community is being bullied. I was bullied because of the way I looked. Particularly my curly hair which always looked messy. Now I have thin hair because I kept cursing it when I was little. I just wanted less hair and wanted it to be straight. Now I’m older and wiser and pretty much upset that I can’t have my hair back. Kids are stupid unfortunately their words can change your life for the worst or kill you. I think the real problem is the parents who don’t spend time loving their kids and teaching them kindness and respect. Too bad there are too many unworthy parents on this planet!
