The first four games are a crapshoot now a days. Teams are rusty on both sides of the ball. So upsets rule. If they're in first during their bye week I will be shocked. I am enjoying every moment until Monday night.

Depends on the QB, doesn't it? There are no good QBs in the NFC East, so if we have one you can up that to 6-7 wins just on the div record. And we did have seven consecutive scoring drives on Sunday, which is so not how Ron Rivera would have done it. Just leave two or three of those holding/false start penalties in the locker room and we probably score one, two or even three TDs. And sure: it's the Giants, so who knows what any of it means. Just saying it's too early to feel defeated. QB defeats roster, right? A mediocre team with a good QB > a good roster with a mediocre QB is what I mean. And both Dallas and Philly have highly mediocre QBs. There's a chance!

The offense wasn't a problem in Cleveland. You loss by 25 in the Home opener and still have to see the ravens Sunday, the Steelers and Detroit and you gotta go to San Fran after the bye. That's at least 3 more losses before week 10

Just a normal division with no elite QBs in sight and a defensive down year. And please don't give me Dak or Hurts, who are both average players on good rosters. Elite is Mahomes, Burrow and Allen. It is not Dak and Jaelen so please GTFO with that. On a good day they're slightly above average. On a bad day they are average to below average with a slight edge to Hurts. Bad Dak is some funky shit. Bad Jaelen is just wrong peg, wrong hole. You can at least watch that. It's not going to be fun if you're an Eagholes fan, but you can watch it. If we want the NFCE to be better we'd better start drafting better QBs. That's my take on it. Hopefully Daniels can be first base on that whole transformation, but I'm not holding my breath.

The Commanders put up over 400 yds of offense, with over 200 yds on the ground. Their revamped OL went through typical things that revamped OL's do. The timing for those penalties was awful, but Washington still got points. On every single drive. Except for when they took a knee to end the half. This is a 40-burger if not for the OL calls. And that doesn't even included the opening kickoff being called back due to penalty.
Also, Washington in year one of Dan Quinn and Jayden Daniels. The roster is awful, arguably the worst in the NFL in 2023. They're supposed to be not very good in 2024. The Giants are in year three of Brian Daboll, and year SIX of Daniel Jones.

Also seven consecutive scoring drives and no turnovers. It's low key atm, but there are good signs and reasons for careful optimism. I'm no mathemagician, but seven scoring drives = Ca 49 points if they''re touchdowns + the one Eck ran back = 56 points if you just don't have stupid penalties, period. Because it wasn't the Giants defense stopped the Redskins. It was stupid penalties. Now, we DID have those stupid penalties and I'm not pretending otherwise. And maybe we will next week as well. But then again, maybe we won't? And if we don't and score 56 point against the Bingos, are you still going to be talking this shit? Worry about your own shitty team and let us worry about ours, OK? If I'm giving any of them a pass it's Philly, just based on relatively recent success, and the Commodes based on having a new regime and a rookie QB who might be great for all we know. Because if he is great he'll be the only great QB in the NFC East. That might easily be all it takes.
