Once an IPS officer Safin Hasan said that if you watch 100 of upsc toppers videos, you'll get 100 of strategies, so it's important to make your own strategy, just try to learn from their mistakes and make sure you don't make the same mistakes during your preparation
This is the reply I was searching for….👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I agree..

Making time table and stick to it Even when you don't want to do... Then that makes you a disciplined person and forces your brain to get out of your comfort zone.

Ya
I literally make this type of time table 🤣 and fail everyday
😂 Me too 🤣
Yessss
Then we feel guilty about it hai na 🤣🤣🤣
@@padmasaniauthinathan6786 Yeah,true 😂.
Pin point accuracy ke sath follow mat kro ki exactly 4 baje hi padhna start krna h. Ek din me kya kya complete krna h uska list banao aur us hisab se kaam kro ki vo sb kaam us din hi khatam ho jaye to chahe kam time me khatam ho ya jyada time me. Pin point rarely hi follow hota h vo bhi bahut practice ke baad.
Personally for me making such timetables helps me more than just studying whenever you want.. coz lets be real who wants to study at all? if u do then ur probably one of a kind. I just have to set specific timetables and stick to it whether i like it or not. This works for me!
It's works for some and don't work for many
Right
To me assigning amount of time seems like a better way than assigning time table.
The will to get at that level will let you study not the timetable. There're many people who just sit in for long hours with 10% of their concentration and grasping power. Meanwhile if you've study will sitting for long hours/ specified time will not really help you. So study at the time when you want to that's what it meant
True. Same for me
No matter what others say .....I think one should study their own way bcoz u knowurself better.....what other say is their own way.....like some ppl study till late night and some early in the morning......it's just how u comfortly memorize
Right
Same do I suggest

I think , instead of make this time table, set daily goals and monthly targets to cover your syllabus like "aaj mujhe xyz topic or chapter finish karke hi sona hai" no matter what aur kuch cheeze toh daily kerni hi kerni hai for instance exercise
Exactly
In my way this this is r8 strategy for every aspirant. Am prefer this one from my beginning of my preparation

Sir aap to pura pol khol diye jai hind sir I proud of you
Well I've been following a proper timetable from 5am - 10pm since 3months and I noticed improvement so it depends on a person what he or she actually wants to do ... I feel we just need to set Monthly weekly and daily goals then time table could work
Yeah uh r right.
please lemme knw ur schedule sis..
@@Yashh_7 👍
@@Yashh_7 well see firstly we should know what's our goals and writing them down gives a clear idea so before making schedule we should write down our goals and then divide it into months and weeks.. then follow a schedule according to goals . It helps to check progress and improvement ... that's what I did in the starting.
In my case I set my goals every month according to my course syllabus and I'm also preparing for dullb so including syllabus of entrance also .
And tbh in the starting it was quite difficult for me to wake up early cuz I used to study at night but it started affecting my health then I decided to change my schedule .
I've heard affirmations works but never believed and now I can say yes it actually works and spending my morning around nature really calms and soothes me, I feel energetic whole day though whenever I've viva it affects my schedule but now Alhamdulillah I got habit of waking up early so sometimes I do according to my goal if I haven't finished previous day goals I try to manage it by reducing walk time or skipping reading . So here is my schedule -
5am - 8am - I pray salah and quran then walk podcast affirmation and I love reading books so yes I start my day by reading atleast 5-10 pages and by 15th of the month I finish one book ( one of my goals is to finish 2 books each month).
newspaper tea and lil revision from previous day
8am - 2pm classes including breakfast and Assignments
2pm - 3pm break lunch and namaz
3pm - 5pm study time
5pm - 6pm tea , namaz or spend my time with parents
6pm - 8pm again study
8pm -10pm I've to make dinner and then pray namaz ..then on bed
And i take breaks on Saturday and Sunday for revision, group calls with friends cleaning room and washing and all . And also write down my next week goals on every weekend.
And one more thing if you think you can follow schedule without any break then I must say you're the one who knows your goals so you've to manage time and maintain consistency .
( Everyone has different goals and different ways of learning and understanding things so you've to introspect , what actually your goal is and what works for you according to your goal )
@@samra5920 that's great Samra 😄 all the best! 🌸
One can reach Delhi from North route, south route, west route, east route.
It's upto you don't blindly follow others rule.
Exactly,we are not machines that we should be synchronised at a certain time, make a timetable that suits u whether to study early in morning or late at night. Padhai zaroori hai na ki waqt
In my opinion
In this world of DISTRACTIONS if you want to achieve your goal then you have to put yourself under RESTRICTIONS, otherwise you will get distracted.
Like as a student, your self study slots should be fixed, and things other than your study should be adjusted in between the breaks.
In my initial day of prep. I used to make like this time table nd I always feel anxious bcos i can't do my daily targets but after some days i start doing mediatiton daily nd that awakened my mind nd I don't feel depression or anxious... Now I wake up 7 o'clock nd do mediatiton nd aftr tht I used to do things which I decided to do last night nd happily I finish my 90prcnt targets daily...
One advice after waking up pls don't read any new things or newsppr uh can read what uh hve done one day before that will boost our confidence...
I am not selected candidate so i can't tell what is good or bad.. My views are personal and that worked for me...
Exactly
It depends from person to person. Last year UPSC topper pradeep said that we should make a time table and follow it religiously. So there is no such thing as absolute advice.
Which one AIR 1 or AIR 26...........
and The 2nd one was Crazy no one should follow his way....

Absolutely right sir .
If you did what your mother said (doesn't matterhowmuchshe studied),
You had got 1st Rank.
Definitely.
Maaa💞always.
Bhaya, you have to ensure discipline by being a little strict with yourself. A laid back approach will fail more than succeed. Kitna possible hai ki you study when not pre planned, its rare. Too utopian satyam bhai
Last week I did a time table and tried to follow it. One day it happend, second day also it happend ... third day it didnt. For many years I have been thinking why this doesnt workout for me unless its some public or exam time table. So after that i decided not to make any time table. And decide today i will do this and this. And its happy to do that. Else these timetables pressurize or sort of make me feel regret that i couldnt do couldnt do ... so no TT just plan the day move ahead😊
Once you realized the importance of knowledge , skill and education then you don't need to make a time table ....bcoz that one reason force you to study ......
Are you agree ...,then hit the like button...
Sir ager time table na rakhe aur...khud ke mood peh rahe...to ho gyi padhai and ho gyi tarakki 😂😂😂
Right
He said that we should atleast give 8 hrs. Ab 24hrs me jab mann kare tab padho but 8hrs padho.
Agr aise h toh time table bhi nhi bacha paega...😂😂
HealTh is wealth.
ACCORDING TO STUDIES YOUR BODY ORGAN RELAXES AND TRY TO REGENERATE IN NIGHT LIKE 1AM - 3 AM IS THE TIME WHEN LIVER HEALS ITSELF AND REDUCES BODY STRESS. BUT IF YOU ARE AWAKE AT THAT TIME PERIOD ITS EFFICIENCY REDUCES SIGNIFICANTLY SO PLZ TRY TO SLEEP IN NIGHT BCZ WE ALL STUDY TO MAKE OUR LIFE SMOOTH RUNNING BUT WITHOUT HEALTH AWARENESS IT IS NOT POSSIBLE 👍🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Exactly, 11pm - 3 am some natural processes happen like lungs detoxification, so my parents always ask me to sleep before 11 ,. And though i can't sleep that early , i try to at Max sleep by 12
I am partially agree with it. As I also recommended on the service of IRS (IAS).strategy should be made by own self.

By waking up at 4am really gives you more hours. But it is really tough to wake up at 4am. When I am in 3rd year of college Only one month i have wake up at 4am and due to this I have also cleared gate exam in 3rd year of btech. But if you start winning you start became lazy.
See when i wake up at 4am i think that i don't understand a thing and it is not working for me, But after time passes I got a confidence over subjects. So I recommend you to wake up at 4am(Brahm Murat). I got many hours in my life. Reading about latest technology, Bhagvad geeta and playing pc games.
Actually, I have tried both to wake up early or sleep at late night
But both are not working for me
I think 8 a.m. to 2 a.m. is suitable for me
The exact reason for why time tables not work is that we don, t know what will happen in next second.
The problem with all upsc candidates is they become famous once they clear exam... But no one knows what they are doing... But actually they should become famous because of their work... Not for clearing exam.

Initially I used to study without time tables. One day I tried to make time table, now I only make time tables. Study-vdy khatam! gyi! bye! tata! finish!
Let me give you a broad vision and then it will help you to choose between the two
1.To work on time table is not our goal , to complete the heavy syllabus and revision is.
2. Time table helps to be in discipline.
3. Time tables shouldnt be heavy ones ki ekdum se 4-5 bje utho...or 2-3 bje sojao
4. Time table SE thda pressure rhta h I need to learn
5.time table moulds you into a strict time and you might become a person who actually will wake up at sharp 5 am in some months.
6. Setting goals is more of using your day as you wanted
7. Goals can be achieved easily as you better know yourself how much of study you can do in a day
8.not much burden you can accomplish them
9. Time table is of turning yourself strict to stick to it
10. Goal setting enables you to enjoy the process more as you don't have to have stick to a particular routine
Hope this helps
I can't decide between time table setting and goal setting, both feels very important so i try doing both and so i suck at both. What to do?
This comment section motivated me and helped me more than this video

We cant always stick with such a time table n also it will increase our stress cause we will be striving to keep up with it, so just make time table for ur studies only, witg 2 or more subject n mock test etc.

I haven't done anything to be recognised but I believe that you should not study for mere "selection".
Earlier it was difficult for me to concentrate because I used to think about only selection or what will happen if I fail.
Now I have developed interest in the subjects to now I sit for hours learning things and don't even realise how time passed.
Selection is just a secondary aspect of you knowledge.

Studious students are study conscious , they know very well how to manage their schedule !
No matter what the time , duration and minute runs they will complete it definitely !
Because *they know themselves*
I don't know right now toh I m going through target base study that whatever happens I have to complete these many topics or chapter properly
Lekin late uthne ka ek nuksan yeh hai ki rat mai shanti hoti hai to neend acche se puri ho jati hai din mai to koi sone hi nhi deta i mean sare kam, safai khana din mai hote hai to kafi disturbance hota hai, mene sab try kr liya lekin subah bhale hi 4 baje mat utho lekin subah 7 se 9 k beech uthna sabse appropriate laga

Agar aisa sochenge ke ab mujhe padna h tabhi padenge toh iss chakkar m woh din kabhi nahi aayega or roj lagega ke aaj mood nahi h but u have to force yourself everdat i.e time management=pain management
Try to consider Doing exercises as a habit not a goal , Jese brush krna koi goal nhi , fir bhi hum krte hein ... Aur study wese karo jese suit kare , chahe time table bana k yaa naa bana k .. doesn't matter .
