Our family had After Dark when I was growing up, and I loved most of the modules in this set! Rock, Paper, Scissors was one of my favorites because of the way they could each win or lose against the others. Flying Toasters is a classic, I got pretty good at Rodger Dodger, Marbles was always fun to watch, and "Bad Dog!" is a phrase my family still says sometimes. Thanks for doing a video on this! :)
I actually made a couple AD screen savers back in the days (always some type of in-joke about personalities in the office.). Thanks for this trip down memory lane!
I never got to have this but I think some PCs at school at it? (My primary school didn't even have PCs until 2000, my last year there) it's a shame I missed these at the time but it's great to see them now, old PC stuff like this has such a cosy feeling! Some stuff I did play a bit you could try sometime would be Microsoft Fine Artist and a weird Batman cartoon maker (I made some really stupid stuff in that, wish I had them still)
What a blast from the past! I remember there being a video game module called Lunatic Fringe, which was another take on Asteroids. I loved that module and the sounds it used. Evidently, someone's written a program for Mac OS X users just to be able to load and play that particular module. You know another thing you should do a video on is a control panel/extension combo called "Insanity". That was so much fun, being able to use a variety of weapons to blow holes in your desktop. The .44 Magnum would not just put a bullet hole in it, but you'd get a trickle of blood coming out of the hole.
I was just thinking fondly back to After Dark a few days ago! I know they really serve no practical purpose now (and whether they ever really did is a bit debatable), but I kinda miss the days when novelty screensavers were prevalent. At least, the ones that didn't have malware, or static logos that would eventually burn in on old-fashioned monitors. Would it be possible to get a link to Gamermancer's channel (if indeed I heard that name right - around the 3:20 mark)? I've had a bit of trouble finding it, but I'm always interested in classic Mac channels.
Love the presentation of this, felt like a VHS one would get with their copy of After Dark. Really putting my quick and dirty production values to shame!

My friend had the Simpsons module on their family's PowerPC. We would watch that it hours. It was awesome!
