  • Flywheel
    Flywheel is a machine member which avoids fluctuation of energy in a power plant (I. C. engine) or in reciprocating compressors & pumps.
    Flywheel does not maintain a constant speed but only prevents fluctuation of energy
    Flywheel does not have control over the supply of fuel.
    A flywheel is a rotating mechanical device that is used to store rotational energy. Flywheels have an inertia called the moment of inertia and thus resist changes in rotational speed. The amount of energy stored in a flywheel is proportional to the square of its rotational speed. Energy is transferred to a flywheel by the application of a torque to it, thereby increasing its rotational speed, and hence its stored energy. Conversely, a flywheel releases stored energy by applying torque to a mechanical load, thereby decreasing the flywheel's rotational speed.
    Process take place in I.C engine
    i) Suction stroke
    ii) Compression stroke
    iii) Expansion (Power) stroke
    iv) Exhaust stroke.
    Fly stores energy during power stroke & gives energy during suction, compression & exhaust strokes.
    • Application of Flywheel:-
    i) Flywheel is used in I.C engine.
    ii) It is also in used in steam engine .
    iii) It is used in balancing of reciprocation compressors & pumps .
    iv) It is also used in punching presses & sewing machines.

    Sir aapka according flywheel energy ko store ker ta hai or bo uss ka use kerka fluctuations ko rok dai ta hai lakin sir fluctuation ka seedha matlab speed ka fluctuation sa hai or bo iss fluctuations ko hona nhii deta iss ka matlab hai ki flywheel stored energy ka use crank shaft ki constant speed ko bnaya rkhna mai kerta hai na ki constant energy ko bnaya rkhka hai

    sir please please upload about working principle and details of 2 stroke and 4 stroke petrol and diesel engine and their comparison as soon as possible

      2 stroke only has compression and expansion, but 4 stroke has 4 parts as said in video. in 2 stroke the chances of complete combustion is less, so residues are left in engine. 2 stroke generates more power in 1 cycle as 4 stroke requires 2 cycle for 1 power stroke.
