I'm having issues with this device overheating and turning off during use...It seems to work ok if I remove the battery and leave the cover off and connect it to a power bank, but this is a less than ideal scenario...
Can you disable WiFi and only use only the wan port to connect to my current mesh WiFi system? Going to be using this for off grid surveillance system.
Hi, thank you for your interest. You may check this KB link to see list of mobile carriers that are compatible with the NETGEAR mobile hotspot or fixed wireless device kb.netgear.com/000063963/
Nice job Arodi! Video could be even more informative with animation to show how the device connects in a few of the less-clear use cases. For example, for offloading, show a user sitting in a hotel lobby, with a cloud graphic overhead to denote the hotel WiFi, and two or three devices sitting next to the user, all connecting through the M6 (using arrows/lines/whatever). Similarly for At-Home use, etc. Great to see you, hope all is well.
If the max 5G speed is 8Gbps for this device, how come the Ethernet Port only has a speed of 2.5Gbps and Wifi 6 3.6 Gbs. Unless I am mistaken, Wifi and ethernet cannot take advantage of the 5G speed. At least they could have but a 10 Gps ethernet port in there considering the high price. Let's hope they will soon have a Wifi 7 version with a 10 Gbps port of this which could take advantage of the 5G speed.
@@Lord_Heat_H i have an iphone 13 5g, it's hotspot sucks compared to my old netgear ac791l dedicated 4g lte hotspot. most cell phone hotspots suck compared to any standalone hotspot.
Cell phones are optimized for voice and data and is a critical tool in everyday life. Users want to make sure they always have sufficient battery life on their phones. The Nighthawk M6 Pro helps with that. It is designed for data applications for multiple clients and also has advanced security features which helps to protect your devices from unwanted intrusions. The M6 Pro helps to conserve your smartphone battery and also helps to charge it if battery gets to a critical level. Also, when you are in a rural location where your smartphone cannot pick up any signal, you can plug an external antenna into an M6 Pro to obtain signal and provide your smartphone connectivity to make voice calls over the internet. There are also many other benefits of using an M6 Pro vs smartphone hotspot feature.
Amazing product, wish you explain more about the device os, can I add VPN to the router?
It supports VPN passthrough but does not have VPN client loaded into the OS.

Still no no e-sim or built-in memory capabilities.
Can someone please explain what is the difference between the Nighthawk M6 Pro and non-pro version?
Its been more than 3 years since 5G launched in India. When are you gonna launch Nighthawk M6 Pro Mobile Hotspot in India?
we are working on it
One thing it lacks is that it does not support eSIM
No price oj the plans ?

I have bad reception at my job. Will this help or not? Since I can't get service at times.
This device can help as it supports plugging in an external antenna to boost your signal

Does it have esim?
It does not have eSIM support
I've never seen 2 people read a prompt more awkwardly than these two
lmfao 😂
it's way too pricy for such a product, maybe in the $200 range, but currently on amazon for like $800, it's way too much.
With all due respect, for more thank 1000 USD I can buy 5 devices 😂
Why would I spend $800 on this and not just use my cell phone as a hot spot?
Because this thing rocks and it's fast and your cell phone hotspot sucks
@@shaunfernando5349 tf you talking about, not everyone's smartphones like yours man
