I've known some of these things, but overall, thanks for this. Yeah, it's one hell of a cursed movie. But I'm glad for myself that I'm not that angry at it. I do love ,,Devilman", but when I watch live-action adaptation, I just can't help, but laugh. That's why I made this compilation. I think it's better for some people to watch this rather than the whole movie.
The CGI looks like the same studio that did the cutscenes for the PS2 IronMan game did those, which is kind of amazingly bad, given that the _Devilman PS1 FMVs_ looked way better. They should have just tracked down the people who did the PSX Devilman FMVs and hired them to do their CGI.

And woah, I can't believe how in just one year that was 2004, Go Nagai got a awful adaptation that was ,,Devilman" and absolutely great adaptation that was ,,Cutie Honey".

Also, even if you just see a cameo of Go Nagai in both ,,Cutie Honey" and ,,Devilman", you can easily see which movie he preferred. So yeah, it was really good and I can say that there will be a video for ,,Cutie Honey" in a style of this one for ,,Devilman" that I will post on 2nd May.

As for what would happen in those scanarios: 1) Wouldn’t change anything, since Miki’s death wasn’t because she didn’t know Akira’s true identity, it was because people accused her of being a witch. Maybe she would help Akira in some demon fights, but the ultimate conclusion would be the same with Miki dying. 2)First of all, that would be sick as fuck. On a more serious note; Miki wouldn’t die, and could even help Akira in the final fight against Satan, but I doubt Miki becoming a devilman would be enough on its own to defeat Satan, and ultimately the devilmen would lose again. Maybe at least Akira and Miki would die together.

Don't defend this movie, I love Devilman to pieces to the point I will even defend the NES game (except on having three music tracks total), but this movie is so, so, so _bad_ that the only things good about it were Ryo's gun-kata, the practical effects, and Devilman's mouth finally being wolf teeth instead of shark ones. The rest of the design is mid at best and the PSX FMV Amon did it better. (Heck, the PACHISLOT Devilman designs did it better, too). Also that animation on the model was awful, no sense of weight or power. He makes the 1972 children's cartoon version of Devilman look more imposing.
Well, there is one way I know. It's a site called dramacool. Since many live-action manga adaptations are not legally avaiable for me, I often use dramacool to watch them.

Also, I'm kinda glad that some people actually give me requests for this kind of thing. I need to finally do something with this. And as someone who got into Kamen Rider franchise this year, I could do Blade Out of Context in some free time (but the movie would be the best, the series is too much work for me).

Devilman is never boring lol! Always some kind of extreme. Although wishing a director dead shortly before they actually die is a new level of cursed.
