@frettedviolinist7247 you can learn the basics with a phone. And there's a few different types of trading which can be a little easier to do on your phone. But if you're first learning and are just trading with the minimum requirement, please don't put your life savings into it.

I wish i learned what Lance said at 45min earlier. Got lucky with a strategy i came up with before 2020. Made an absolute killer in 2020/2021. Stopped working eventually.
Should have started over again with 500 dollars and kept everything at the bank. Hard lesson.

It is unusual to see a Master Trader understand how the Universe works. Love the SMB and Lance Videos. Watched 2hr Webinar today. Professional and very informative. Currently in the STT Stocks To Trade DIT Daily Income Trader program but need a solid education. Tim Bohen and Tim Sykes insult and belittle the students who have bought into their program. Tim Sykes charges 12k for his Challenge and it is disjointed and confusing. Didn't join but spoke to people who did. Bohen has 1000 videos that don't add up to a hill of beans. No methods. Just do this do that and if you fail who cares. Constant upsetting.

So, how can we ensure a real Stop Loss after market and pre market?
One of my trades had bad news overnight, and if there’s not enough shares at the price set, to fill my Stop Limit (much sell orders won’t be filled).
And Stop Limit is the only stop loss that can execute outside RTH hours (before and after market hours)
And I’m not in the US Timezone.
Can you do a video for beginners on premarket trading? It seems that between 7am and 9:30am is a highly profitable time period and even more so in the last year.
At the Vid. time Minute 33 and between the SECONDS 5 TO 7 I felt you. (min. 33:05/07).

Beginner: i did not understand the long and short and you covered it and still made profit? any basics for this would be helpful. this is at 13 min time line. thank you
at 30 to 32 min time it its says shorting. Does that mean you sell your stocks at high price and buy them back when they are at low price. it shows we made profit. it means we can sell the same stock at a later high price?
at 58.25: the stop limit says 22.50 but we have many share that the less than that why didn't we take those options as we are loosing on the money? or did i get this concept wrong?

I’d recommend recording screen and building database of stocks that are super in-play (fresh news or making huge moves.) for example $VFS today on spike to $47. Also google “smbcapital RUclips highlight reel” for video on that
Edge are so small today thanks to ever increasing efficiency in markets that are tradeable. I think most trader will fail in daytrading, it's so expensive because of the bid/ask spread the investor, of course, cannot escape.
I love trading options but man I'm about to just stick with the wheel strategy, Covered Calls and Cash Secured Puts.
That's what I do plus some iron condors. It's not flashy but I have steady income.
Thanks for the basics, but this is for very newbie traders. What I dislike about these types of videos is the pushing of courses, some costs of which is paid by brokers to keep people trading. When they ban IBAs, I'll be less skeptical.

What helped me is I printed out a bunch of 2 min daily charts and then copied/traced them. Staring with the moving averages and then candlesticks... after 25 charts things started to become clear.
by all means.. I record always two charts for each trade, one at the moment of entry and another one at EOD.
What do you mean two min daily charts? Why do you copy / trace them?
Wouldn’t A.I. be crucial now, if it’s about pattern recognition etc?
Mike, you said “I remember how close he was to quitting almost a year into his trading career”…but Lance didn’t trade at SMB Capital. He traded at Trillium. Don’t act like your firm developed him. Lol. His story is well known.
